The board was hacked like 4 years ago and the password hashes were stolen. If you had a weak password and didn't change it, your account went poof. Mine did.
MY ACCOUNT WAS BULLETPROOF - it had £,$, %,@, CAPS, nmbers, and letters and theres a guy using my account daily since 17th dec 2017 and my brothers is the same
i used it everyday almost, then on the 17th dec i couldnt log in and someone else started using it
I couldnt get onto our bitcointalk account in December which I thought was odd as I hadnt changed my password, so I had to create a new account to may anger as I had been using that account for 4 years and was a hero member. Then a month went past and the same thing happened to my brother. So I started to investigate. I looked up my old account and it was been used daily by someone else! I had had my account stolen and so had my brother.

theymos recently made a change regarding the merit system and said he's open to changing the system for the better. Hopefully this means tighter/higher restrictions but, more Smerit for established users.
I can't wait until we have several hundred sources and truely see if the merit system is going to work as intended. At the moment there's several high quality posts which aren't getting merited at all or if they are they are only recieving 1 or 2. But thats down to the amount of sources and how limited sMertis are currently.
This could give the impression that merit is hard to achieve but that's only because there isn't enough sMerit currently to give to everyone. When we get more users who are sources we shall see an increase in merit being given to high quality posts.

Well because we have a working product that actually exists and has been used for many years. Obviously it makes no sense to support a crowdsale without a product... people shouldn't be getting money without actually doing hard work. And as for SYS there is many threads talking about that... to be honest there is no comparison. BitBay has many more features. That wall isn't even the full list either. We have exotic spend like freezing, switches, hash puzzles and time locks fully integrated, notary with notifications, tons of features under the hood and the cash for coins template.
Unlike other projects we are not limited to sales of goods, unbreakable contracts have extremely strong use case in employment, barter, cash for coins, and any type of contract you can think of.
And this is by far the main advantage. We don't have escrow and SYS does. So does Open Bazaar. Escrow is a very dangerous and weak system responsible for a majority of theft and loss seen today. Like on many E-bay scams the buyers or sellers get hurt when a product isn't as described, damaged, or an empty box. The arbiters must guess as to who is right and they commonly punish innocent people. Our contracts are a two party escrow system where both parties put their funds in a joint account and if they lie to each other they lose.
We were also the first smart contracting platform in the world before Ethereum (BitHalo) and the first decentralized markets and will soon most likely be the first moving peg. And that peg is also another major advantage which is an entirely separate subject.

Syscoin dont have a partnership with Microsoft! They use microsoft azure! Anyone can if they apply and do a few things they ask. Its not a partnership. Im fact Bitbay had the option of using Azure but we didnt want to go down that avenue

It's a clear misunderstanding of marketcap. If Bitcoin goes up 150 billion it doesn't mean 150 billion was invested. Price * supply = marketcap. An increase in marketcap can happen for much less if there isn't enough sell walls. And also almost half of the Bitcoins have never been moved and almost half of the Bitcoins that have been moved have been stolen by third parties. So the marketcap is an illusion. Bitbay was recently at an all time high in volume so we are clearly expanding based on the increased interest in crypto. We used to have 100 dollars a day in volume now we have 10-40 million on some days. The proof is right in front of you.
You are probably right about what you wrote:
1) That you delete because of what you call deliberately falsness. I call it to be open and be able to also talk about weaknesses in the project.
2) You are probably right, that you dont babysit threads. But still you remove and delete very quicly what you do not like about things that are written here.
3) Where have you been discussing negatives of the project? I have not seen anything so far, maybe you could tell me where this negative "discussions" are?
4)150 billion dollar. It`s you that misunderstand. What he ment is that altcoins and bitcoin has rose with 150 billion in general. And this is important to understand. Bitbay has not take any part of this higher valuation as the crypto has fallen 55 places. And even worse, it continues to fall in value. Nothing lift the course any longer, at least it looks like that from my possition and him too.
As you probably know, it is not a warranty that the value ever will come back to all time high. Lately, bitbay has fallen pretty quicly and very much. Maybe it doesn`t scare you a bit, but maybe someone do? The way you argue certainly doesn`t calm me Down. As you know, I am done, at least almost and I feel more confortable this way.

after reading a few good news articles aout this project i was ready to buy 8btc worth but no chance now having read this thread! and tis is the moderated one too!
you guys need to ditch blackcoin and buy bitbay. It uses the blackcoin code but has a full time team and very active development. You aint gona make any money sticking with Blackcoin. Why would people buy Blackcoin?? what is its Unique selling point? . . exactly there isnt one. Bitbay have a tether like peg called a dynamic peg in Feb which will make it go X10 in value. I've compared Syscoin, Bitbay & Particl - Decentralized Markets Comparison Table
I have spent a few days finding out about decentralized stores and markets as I see that been huge once Bitcoin hits the mainstream. I know of 3 and invested 5BTC into each. I first invested in Bay last year and recently bought into Syscoin & Particl. Interest got the better of me about what and how they work so spent some on each of these coins slack groups. All 3 groups were helpful in answering my questions . I spend hours on their websites, reading the whitepapers and forums looking at what each offer and have created and this is the graph have created.
I did try and be as fair as possible to all 3 and apologize if I dont have all the tech they have developed but did give them the opportunity to tell me on all 3 slack groups and if the information isn't available on the websites how are investors suppose to know?
Upon reflection of the table I can say I see a huge gap for growth with Bitbay. It has the most features and the cheapest by a long way and has better distribution. Im aware their marketing budget was stolen at the start so this could be the reason why its under the radar but I think I have found a highly undervalued coin. Im very interested in all 3 projects and looking forward to Particls first release, Syscoins mainnet release and Bitbays rolling peg implementation . From my understanding it will be a big competitor to Tether, but with daily gains of 1% to 3% depending on wallet owners voting.

We need a redesign on the webpage. We also need to showcase the marketplace on the website. There isn't enough info about the marketplace on the front page of the website.

bter delisted it about 6 months ago! and you have only just noticed!? As much as i hate bter they did give everyone 4-6 weeks to move them off the exchange before delisting it.
