Re: Got $25.000 to invest, low KYC needed
by

What's wrong with you guys, the man asked for advice on what ICOs to invest in and people start to question his sincerity or trash-talking ICOs altogether.
That is not what the guy asked for, he asked for ICOs to invest in, not questions about how he got his money or what major coins you are currently hodling and want to see go up.

To provide some actual relevant content, I have high hopes for Quantum1Net. The guy have a real damn solid team on LinkedIn with heavy players in their respective field as well as being featured in major news outlets such as Bloomberg.
You can get on may ICO papers and podcast by paying but getting on Bloomberg Markets is not something you can buy for ETH.
I've bought some of their tokens, these guys are definitely people to keep your eyes on.

Quantum1Net's a real dark horse IMO.
They have yet to even close their ICO and they have already been in major real world media like Bloomberg and Yahoo Finance. How many ICOs can boast that?

Before you buy, look at the team. If the team is hidden or a bunch of unknowns with no history, avoid like the plauge.
That others has invested is no guarantee that it is a good project, there are millions of suckers out there.
Personally, I've bought Quantum1Net, their team is impressive enough to land them mentions on Bloomberg and Yahoo Finance.

I remember seeing somewhere that weed was forbidden because it would compete with the textile and paper markets... capitalism going head over heels to try and control market interests.. for the past couple of centuries.
Hemp as an industrial material for cloth, ropes and such is already in use and has been for a long time. Mind you that you would need to smoke a blunt the size of a utility post to get high of industrial hemp.

Does anybody know their etherscan?

https://etherscan.io/token/0xbeebcfe2fbb3c72884341be2b73ae0fc6559b8fc#balances

Some key points: 99.2% (!!) of the tokens remain unsold, so it is clear that the ICO has failed big time. And it's been days since the ICO ended, yet there is zero comment from the q1n team here in the forum, on twitter, or on any other channel.

What are they hiding?

Those of you who have invested should push hard to get your questions answered, as they are clearly being ignored here.

Have you visited their Telegram? They are far more active there and they have addressed the issues you keep regurgitating over and over.

Also, why are you so bloody obsessed with Quantum1Net? You have been yapping at their heels on twitter for months and ALL your posts on this forum is in this very thread.
Are you so upset that they forced you to follow the law?

At present, countries are learning digital currencies and formulating regulations for supervision.
As far as I know, there are only three countries with regulations, Estonia, Switzerland and Belarus. Estonia seems to have the most success of these three so I suspect we'll see regulations modeled to look like theirs.

We always need regulations whether or not from the government. Things will be out of control when no regulations are implemented by the community.
I hope that the community pulls itself together to impose some self regulation. Given the antipathy governments and banks show towards blockchain, they will certainly use regulations to curb it as much as possible.

The best solution would be some kind of industry organisation, a foundation by of the different blockchain teams, large and successful ICO companies and academics from the universities.
Government regulation is often ham-fisted in execution and biased by ideological beliefs as well as different between countries when the blochchain technology is global and decentralized.
If the blockchain world could organize some kind effort to sanitize itself it would be for the best.

Does anybody know how is going the token sale?

The token sale is going very good. We have good attention from Institutional investors and other similar entities. These types who don't bother with cryptos or ETH transfers and wallets, and uses more traditional means such as bank wires. These won't show up in the smart contract until it is finalized and we are currently working on a counter that accounts for both our public sale and private investors.

I saw you mention that in your Telegram, it gives me absolute confidence that this will succeed.
Very bullish project this.  Wink

Does anybody know how is going the token sale?

Only 180454 tokens sold so far: https://etherscan.io/token/0xbeebcfe2fbb3c72884341be2b73ae0fc6559b8fc#balances

That's approximately 180.454 ETH, plus or minus 20%.

Converted to EUR, we get €122709. That is 0.4% of the hard cap, and the token sale is almost over  Huh

Edit: This is far from even covering the promised bounty payout of 500 000 USD!

Do you even have the slightest idea on how an ICO actually works? That last part about the bounty program leads me to believe that you don't. Bounties are paid in TOKENS, not fiat. It is beyond me how someone with a PhD can be so misinformed and bad at checking up facts.

I believe the cannabis market on blockchain itself is quite workable and a realistic idea. Even more than a bunch of useless cryptos.
I agree, this product has something more than just cryptos. The tangibility and ability to reach a really wide market makes me believe this will go gar and get big.

how is going the sale?

Everything is going very well. We've received a lot of support from our community and we are very close to the soft cap now! Smiley

It is a very good sign to know you are almost very close to the Soft cap. It is going to good sign for the project to develop in order to reach the hard cap in ICO also. So keep working on marketing in order to get more awareness about the project.

Yep, it's good to be in on this rocket early. When the FOMO sets in, I'll be set  Grin

however, Quantum1Net has a different take on handling protection against quantum attacks, based on quantum mechanics itself, which is first of its kind in the blockchain world!

False. Kikteno et al. already proposed a quantum crypto blockchain scheme in May 2017: https://arxiv.org/abs/1705.09258 https://www.technologyreview.com/s/608041/first-quantum-secured-blockchain-technology-tested-in-moscow/

That's good to know but where is Kikteno's ICO?
All I care about startup providing me piece of quantum safety rather someone developing it for some corporate thugs like JPMC. I would buy both lol

Sorry to break your bubble, but the quantum1net ICO will never deliver, the tech won't work.

Says the guy who decided it was more important to cry  for attention on Twitter than to try to actually get to the bottom of things. Do we need to remind you that you rejected a legit NDA, broke the law by calling them all kinds of nasty stuff on twitter and now milk your precious C&D for all its moneys worth rather than actually trying to do something constructive?

Have you checked the linkedin of the team? The CEO has 20 years of successful computer network business behind him, the CTO has years of work as principal scientist in a quantum research project, their security lead is the founder of a large IT security company and the founder of one of the largest IT security conferences in Sweden.
These are guys who know how to deliver.

Guys, why are you even contemplating investment? The tech does not work. In fact there is no tech. Read the whitepaper & the yellowpaper. Not a hint of a real technical implementation.
It is all unrelated pictures of lasers and of old appliances with no relation to the text. Seriously it is enough to put "quantum-resistant" and "blockchain" together and you pull out your wallets?
Wake up guys.

Back to you regarding the white- and yellow paper, have you actually read it? It is clearly stated that there is already a working quantum key generator that provides the necessary random numbers for key generation. They also provide numbers to back up their claims.
If you've ever set foot inside a quantum optics lab you'd know they are just what the pictures show, a maze of lenses and prisms.
This project shows great promise imo, the threat of quantum cracking is real and I can promise you that much that the governments are not going to share their quantum secure encryption with the people. This project is very much needed,

I have read the paper, and it (badly) describes a quantum random number generator. I happen to have an almost exact same setup in my own lab (can show pics if you want), and it has nothing to do with protecting against quantum computers and Shor's algorithm. Check my twitter thread for more details: https://twitter.com/Jogenfors/status/956627886496272384

You actually called me out on your twitter and made fun of me in a most childish way. Shouldn't an actual PhD have a bit more dignity and professionalism?
Besides, Quantum1Net appears to have responded to you, your allegations that they refused to comment on your claims are false. How can you claim that their idea is fraudulent if you refuse to even look at their work?
