Re: If Bitcoin had a stable price, would it still be as popular?
by

I think that for many coin holders, as for me, the stable price of bitcoin would not bring benefits. What is the use of keeping coins for a long time if they do not bring in income
I think the volatility in price is attracts some people. But trust me, if price becomes stable lots and lots of people will get in, though a stable price won’t be of any benefit to me; why am I saying? I don’t even depend on the volatility. Anyone, I will take it as I see it.
I am sorry but I don’t think so people will get attracted towards bitcoins if they are going to have stable prices. People are leaving gold and switching to bitcoins because of their stable natures. Unstable prices are the main reason for lost investing into bitcoins because unstable prices provide maximum chances of big profits.

Re: Investing money on bitcoin..!

While others might be compelled to sell right now, the risk takers are willing to buy on dips with the thought and hope that the price is going to make a rebound soon. After this little storm has passed, bitcoin is going to be in demand again, while more places are going to accept it as payment. Holding bitcoin a little longer instead of selling right now might serve us better in the future.
I sell and at the same time hold. If you’re going to take my advice, I would say sell half, and leave half in wallets. Make sure you recover everything you invested plus more, then you can begin to save, but don’t stop selling. I know why I’m saying that and if you reason properly, you will know what.
I am applying same strategy in order to stay safe in the bitcoins market. It is always advised to stay in the game of bitcoins by keeping certain amount in wallet. You should never ever have your wallet empty of bitcoins because we never know when they are going to touch the sky. Bitcoins are evergreen investment.

Re: Bitcoin or other coins

what make bitcoin better and incomparable to the other cryptocoins  ?
As i know because Bitcoin is more accessible, with more exchanges, more merchants, more software and more hardware that support it. Bitcoin is far more liquid, with much larger volumes than every altcoin. Bitcoin has the largest developer ecosystem with more software and more implementations than any altcoin. Bitcoin has the most entrepreneurs creating companies around it with a lot of intellect, dedication and creativity going toward making it more useful.
My one and only choice is bitcoin because it is everlasting evergreen and most perfect investment idea in this world of competition one can earn good if he manage it good so don’t think about other coins the most profitable is bitcoin and there is no other coin having such a good scope and acceptable by people to trade in it so join the caravan.

Re: If Bitcoin dies does altcoin die?
by
garmerys
on 15/09/2017, 12:44:45 UTC
If bitcoin die I dont think altcoins die. Yes some altcoins for sure die because it deoends ti the bitcoin price but they have altcoins deoends to the dollars price and for sure it will still a live what ever happens in bitcoin. But as of now bitcoin will not die and it will live in the online world in the next few years and bitcoin will become more powerful and popular so the price will continue to increase.
People get it wrong whenever they say that an altcoins will take over Bitcoin. I don’t really think that’s true. If Bitcoin ends today, it will affect other crypto currencies heavily, and 90% of them all will close down/fall. Bitcoin is the road builder and rules the block chain.

Ethereum could take the reigns of bitcoin and be the new bitcoin easily. And with cheaper transfer fees. And with all the other cool stuff that Ethereum does Smiley #ETHisKING
So i believe if bitcoin dies for any reason except the one that crypto currencies get banned by the government or other stuff Ethereum could take over.
There is no possibility of bitcoin die and if it will happen unfortunately altcoin will die also because bitcoin introduces the trend of digital currency and still people have faith in it and there is no chance of this theory bitcoin is giving profit to the peoples and no other altcoin can replace it and it will never die because of its ever green profit.

Do you think if BTC had a stable price which could only be altered by $0.01-0.10 it would still be as popular and as used?
In my opinion it will be more popular. Having a stable price will welcome investors that doesn't to take the risk into investing to bitcoin because it is volatile. As an investor  ofcourse you will go as possible with something that is less risky to have an assure profit. And if Bitcoin will be less volatile, it will catch the attention of more people and will make it more popular.
If you ask me, if bitcoin had stable prices, it wouldn't have been able to touch its current value. Moreover, if the prices become stable even now, people will take it as an asset like gold. Volatility has attracted many people but still the fluctuation should not be at this much rate as it is now. It causes panic among users.
I have the same opinion. Indeed the volatile nature of bitcoins has attained the attention of masses. People have invested into bitcoins because they knew that bitcoins keep on fluctuating and will definitely reach some good price. Unstable prices are playing still key roles in attracting investors.

Re: What to do when prices are falling

If prices are falling, then for me, I need to hold my bitcoin until such time that the price will rise again so I can gain in the future.
Holding is really a very good idea at the time when prices are decreasing. I think you can also go for more investment and can buy more Bitcoins at that time. This will help you earn a lot of profit and you will get a lot of earning in this way. All you need is to have patience and that’s all.

of course bitcoin has a future because bitcoin prices are always up and if we have a lot of bitcoin will certainly get big profits in the future
Definitely! Bitcoin holds a very bright future as far as I can see the things going on. I believe it is not only the future of Bitcoin which is bright but also all the investors who are investing their money into it, they will also have a very bright future. It will make many of us very much wealthy and will help us to earn more.

Re: The first Real estate company in the world equitize by Cryptocurrency
by

"Jont" stock company?  There used to be things called "joint stock" companies in one of the earlier asset bubbles, can't remember which.  What's a Jont stock company?

Also, it would be "equitized" if that's even a word.  I'll take your word for it if it is.  If you're selling shares in something, it's best not to be sloppy with the wording.  Just sayin'.
I think there may be many real estate companies in the world who will deal in the crypto digital currency like bitcoin. I don’t know even the names of all the companies but the one who mentioned by you in your comments is may be the first one to deal in bitcoin.

I think after a short time when the people widely accept bitcoin and the governments regularize bitcoin all the companies will equitize by bitcoin.

Re: The next Bitcoin?
by

on 14/09/2017, 04:53:47 UTC
Dear Bitcointalk community,
we all love Bitcoin because it has some great features, but what will happen when another cryptocurrency will be used as much as Bitcoin? Mainly because it has all the things Bitcoin offers but better?
I wrote an article about this idea on Steemit and I would like to hear the opinion of some Bitcoinveterans.
Please tell me what you think and don't hold back your criticism.

https://steemit.com/crypto/@lumining/the-next-bitcoin
I don't think there will be such thing as "NEXT BITCOIN". There's no doubt bitcoin is "the father of all cryptocurrencies". Miners won't let that happen mainly because all other altcoins depend on th  value of bitcoin. If the question is "What is the next big thing on cryptocurrency?", then my answer would be ETHEREUM and LITECOIN (but I son't see these two altcoins beating the BITCOIN.
I also agree with this that bitcoin is the 1st and last choice. There will be no other bitcoin than the existing one. So don’t be worry about any other crypto currency other than bitcoin and also about next bitcoin, because the currency ones prevail in the market the people will hardly accept other crypto currency.

So I think it is enough with this bitcoin. We do not need other bitcoin and also there is no need for any other bitcoin

Re: WILL BITCOIN BE USED BY ALMOST EVERYONE IN 2022?
by
garmerys
on 13/09/2017, 07:51:40 UTC
I don't think bitcoin will be used by almost everyone in 2022. Bitcoin will surely not destroy fiat. Banks are just in too much control and power to replace.
I don’t think that bit coin will be used by almost everyone in 2022, as people are still in the phase of learning about crypto currencies i.e. how they work and are they secure to use remotely or what if their systems gets corrupted who will be responsible for the consequences of the loss. It will take at least two decades to reach to that mark when everyone will use it.

Re: bitcoin benefit of saving for a long time?
by

on 13/09/2017, 07:10:07 UTC
Investing is risk but it gives you profit and if the price of Bitcoin is going up so you will get multiples profit.
Saving only make you safe but less profit then investing. Risk = Rich. I vote for investing.
Well, there isn't being held a comparison here. But if you ask me, then my vote is neither with saving nor with investing... Tongue
It is with earning, earning bitcoins without any investment and then saving them for future, waiting for the prices to rise regardless of the rate and downfalls... Tongue
Great and I m seeing this that it seems you've doubled your capital already and though it would take more time I think it would be better to still hold on to your bitcoins for now. I think the best is still a hard of us and your BTcs may be a lot more valuable in a couple of months or by the end of this year.

by

on 13/09/2017, 05:16:15 UTC
to get bitcoin every day you have to run your trading problem everyday get the benefit how much dollr it depends on your trading capital if your big trading capital then the profits will be big
Join a bounty campaign or may be a faucet. Earning bitcoins by trading on daily basis would be like sitting in front of the PC for whole day and reading the market prices, doing buying and selling every day, very hectic dude.
Go for gambling, you won your luck, you lose you learn.

Re: Worst mistake in gambling
by
garmerys
on 12/09/2017, 09:28:49 UTC
when i'm badmood or already lose a lot usually i will max balance to use bets because i am fed up with my defeat. usually it happens in gambling dice. each saw a little more balance just max balance

Oh too bad for you brother.
Gambling while in your bad mood will lead you to nothing. When you're in bad mood, all your thoughts are troubled and you can't think right and in the end you lose all your money.
As for me, my biggest mistake is trusting my luck even though I know I shouldn't. Like when I almost lose my life savings because Im hoping luck will be my side but I was wrong. But that's the first and last and my biggest mistake so far.

Mistakes are just part of our every day lives and gambling mistakes aren't exceptional, I also have an experience of gambling sin a bad mood because I needed some money to offset a debt and I made mistakes with my bet slip and rather chose a different game (basketball instead of soccer) and I lost the parlay due to the single mistake.

In gambling, the mood is also important to play a safe game. When we are in a bad mood, we will make many mistakes. Not only in gambling if we do any work we make some mistakes. So don't play when you are disturbed with any other your personal problems.
to me I think that not for a single time but for most of the time I make so many mistakes while playing gambling but I think that it is very normal in gambling, because in most of the gambling game we do depend on our luck and do not have any role of our experience and skill.

In my opinion, gambling being a totally luck based game has nothing to do with the mistakes. If someone is playing dice or poker and has lost just because he or she is not lucky enough to win on that day, then how could it be so because of him? Yeah the only mistake is to let the greed take control of your actions.
Sorry dude didn't hear you right. What did you say; gambling has nothing to do with mistakes???
Well, betting all the amount and losing it is a mistake according to me. If someone goes for borrowing money to gamble, then it becomes a sin in my dictionary.

You can't blame luck for everything, at least not for getting burned after jumping into the fire.

Re: Why do you even gamble?

Yes I gamble for lucky and easy money in order to have fun, but I am not serious about it because if we focus on it we will have no future. Gambling is not all about money and for the all certain about is it's only a game of chance and not a reliable sources of money.
You should never ever gamble for lucky, gamble for yourself if you are involved in all this. Ohh ok if you are doing for fun, that’s great. You should avoid gambling as much as possible because you can never make money with gambling and it is great that you are aware of this fact. Gambling sucks!

Why there is a condition that a BTC was given by someone? I think in either way people will just hold it.
You are right. I believe that the one who will give you 1 Bitcoin as a gift will be the one who loves you the most. In present day, it is having much worth as compared to any other thing. You are the luckiest person if you are having it. All you need is to make best use of that Bitcoin in order to make more.

Re: Moment for buying or selling?

If you still have the idea of selling or buying bitcoin in 07/09/2017, then I recommend patience. As a matter of fact, bitcoin price is still growing, so why not be patient even more? If you are in need of money or have financial problems, then you should sell your bitcoin. Don't live a life without money when you already know that money is within your hands.
I will suggest the same to bitcoin holders. We all know that there are maximum chances of bitcoins touching 5k dollars and even going beyond in November, so why to waste bitcoins right now when little patience can make you richer. I would cash out some of my bitcoins in December to enjoy the sweetest fruit ever of my patience.

Re: Day trade or Hodling

Best decision for me now is to hold it first and eventually when the price rise again, sell it at the best price.
That's the right decision you've ever made for your bitcoin, day trade is profitable but it has high risk than Holding your coins, where monitoring is necessary unlike in holding risk is very minimal.
I personally think that it depends also in what coin you're holding if its for long term or just a day trading. There are coins that are more profitable in long term like just watch the market and let it sleep in your wallet and go back after some years. And some are day trading like you need to closely track and the coin is hype or active in the market.

No one can did 100% predict about crypto. if anyone can it, then i would buy tips from himm and i invest thsoe coin selling my home and land. But i have trust into waves coin.It will be top 5 crypto in this year. I am holding some waves for this.I have strong believe in this coin.I also stop doing regular trade with this coin.Dont sell a single waves coin before end of this year.
Dude, it really hurts me when I see altcoins getting compared with bitcoins and then getting a position. There can be no comparison between the strengths of both. But is someone is looking for an increment, it will definitely happen but don't have very high expectations.
it is really hilarious comparing a toddler with a man at the peak of youth. Altcoins are nothing in front of the bitcoins. Look at the prices of bitcoins and altcoins, there are poles apart and there are not even chances in negative values that they are ever going to approach each other.

Re: How will China's decision affect the market in your opinion?

Hey,
I read this article in a blog that i follow on china ICO ban https://fxpmarkets.blog/2017/09/05/central-bank-of-china-all-virtual-currency-offerings-must-be-stopped-immediately/
How do you think it will affect the market in the long term ?

No doubt the Chinese decision will affect the market for accepting and regularization of bitcoin. And I think that every country should accept bitcoin as their legal and regular crypto digital currency and then take some serious steps for promoting and easily usage and to control all other scams in the shape of crypto currency. It will help the people a lot and they will freely deal in bitcoin.
