Hey, you own Clamclient?

Xploited doesn't know who maintains the server stuff.  I went back through it one time and found some traveling chick... I'd assume it was here.

Worst to worst Im sure X can help out or move it or whatever.

Garth, do you have control of SuperCLAM (bitcointalk profile) or the CLAM Twitter?

The only real estate I ever controlled was the clamclient.com domain. It has been several years since I talked to anyone here so not sure where to look either. But hey, Xploited is still around! That's awesome. We used to communicate by email and mine is the same.

Who maintains the claimclient.com server these days? I have been maintaining the domain registration for some years and this week started receiving emails "from cPanel on clamclient.com" stating that AutoSSL will expire in 13 days. Thought maybe there's still somebody here who still has access. As long as the server keeps functioning I'll keep renewing the domain each year.

Good contest, but should allow us to see all participants and their work, so we know if someone won he did good work. It will also help with transparency...

Re: Worthy to invest in Grin
by

The problem with Grin is the built in Inflation, which defeats the entire purpose of a decentralized crypto currency, and turns a project into

an instant joke. Already there has been a fork to remove this fatal flaw in this project, this Crypto (and anything with money like properties)

can only become viable once it eliminates its inflationary problems...
Grin occupy the decent marketcap in short period so we should not blame the problem of this project. Some peoples are like to participate in this project But long term and short term investment are little risky. So I am not recommend with anyone.

Re: Binance day trading [btc]

If you understand well(Binance), you can do a lot better than now, but you have to work a little while and understand If you can get some help from someone, then you will be able to understand a lot, But if you study it for some time then hopefully it will be a lot better, Problems if you make a mistake in deciding.
Day trading was not a simple way to buy and sell at Binance because all the coins are huge marketcap in Binance exchange so we can participate easily in Binance but sudden dump and pump was occur in anytime. So we must concentrate in short term investment and high margin trading was reduce the risk of day trading.

I would like to understand the general sentiment here from people who gather lots of crypto-related info from various sources.

Sentimentally I will not wish to see the bitcoin with the going down and bottom price instead I wish to see the bitcoin to reach its maximum price value. Lets wait and see is there any possible bull run falls on the upcoming month. It will help every crypto hodlers to change as a millionaire again.

Re: [ANN][XCP] Counterparty - Pioneering Peer-to-Peer Finance - Official Thread
by

EDIT: The sweep tool did not actually fail. It returned an error code but the transaction went through. It can be found here: https://github.com/Jpja/Sweep-XCP-Paperwallet

I have a private key to a BTC address containing SJCX, but not a passphrase for an associated Counterparty wallet. The "sweep" function is commonly used in this case, but users have reported problems with it for some time: https://counterpartytalk.org/t/problems-sweeping/643/24

None of the solutions posed there or elsewhere worked for me.

So is there any other option for me than syncing the whole BTC blockchain or giving up my private key to someone who has?

I'd hoped to find a tool such as this that works: https://github.com/Jpja

Unfortunately the "sweep"  tool there also failed in my case.

Thanks.

in 2014 I did send 600 000 coins in unmade address which doesn't belong to somebody.I made a mistake, using a address from DGC (digitalcoin), but this address also exist in DGB ...bye bye 17 bitcoins
Did you still have the digitalcoin wallet? If so then I would try exporting the private key of that address and importing it into Digibyte.

Re: BYTEBALL: Totally new consensus algorithm + private untraceable payments

Why on earth would u choose ubuntu? Unity and ubuntu do suck ass. Havent ever in my life seen an OS uglier than fucking ubuntu.

It feels strange to defend ubuntu (I mostly agree with your view) but I recently started using it myself. Not unity of course, which is thankfully discontinued but lubuntu, which I have on a VM.

The reason is simply support. Whatever wallet I decide to compile or any other linux app will definitely include instructions for a ubuntu LTS. Not debian, not centos, not arch nor any other distro I have used in the past.

Sure in theory we could just install the equivalent packages on the other distro but it's rarely that simple and things often go wrong unless you are an expert and really know what you are doing
Yes, ease with blockchain software is one good reason, and the second reason is security. Almost all viruses/spyware/etc is targeted towards Windows/Mac. Open source and decentralized is the way!

I'm migrating from Windows 10 to Ubuntu 16.04. My Byteball data files from Windows won't work with Byteball on Ubuntu. I can import my seed on Ubuntu to access my Bytes, but without importing the data file I cannot access my BlackBytes.

Following the documentation on github produces errors at this step:

sudo apt-get install libdb4.8-dev libdb4.8++-dev

Can somebody help please? Is there some trick to make the raiblocks wallet sync faster?
It doesn't use much RAM nor CPU, it doesn't use much internet, however, it syncs painfully slow..

I moved away the old blockchain + data because the wallet kept crashing, but there's almost a week and it's still not re-synced.

7.8.1, Win 10.

Thanks

Edit: Thanks @Byte16 for sending me your blockchain/database, I'm sync-ed now.

It's going to take at least 24 hours to sync at the current rate. Could somebody post a link on the board to their database? I see an option in the advanced menu for bootstrapping, but couldn't find any bootstrap available. Thanks.
