Re: [GLBSE] Introducing: Bitcoin Syndicate, a new mining op trading publicly!

Maybe, if you contact Glasswalker.  In the email I kept from mid-Feb, he said that any funds not claimed 30 days from mid-Feb would be forfeit, but it doesn't cost anything to ask if he's still holding the funds.

Thank you, trying to contact him.

Well, a majority of the coins were stolen from Gox.  Glasswalker got too busy to keep things running and the operation was closed and liquidated.  People who went through the share claim process after GLBSE closed received a dividend of about 0.0115 BTC/share when the operation was liquidated, approximately in mid Feb, 2013.

Would that be still possible to do now, how do you think?

So what happened to BTCSYN?

I happen to be one of the early 'small' shareholders. The website is down, GLBSE is too. Was this whole thing a scam?

Not to digress from this thread toe much, I just wanted to thank gbr for his help with a project of mine. He was very easy to work with.

Thank you for your feedback, weex! I also enjoyed working for you.

I also feel that we have unintentionaly hijacked OP's thread. Sorry about that, joest. I'm going to bring my portfolio up to date and start my own thread during next couple of weeks or so.

Gbr, is this poster or any of your other work available online? Do you have a thread started?

Weex, thanks for your interest. I will PM you right now.

I haven't started my own thread yet, since I currently have a lot of work. I might refurbish my portfolio and advertise my services more actively if I have spare time after I'm done with my current projects in a couple of months or so.

However, I am available for enquiries, I just don't need to sell my services proactively at the moment. I did a couple of design jobs for the Bitcoin community during past couple of weeks. I'm really interested in Bitcoin and I hope that freelance work for BTC here could be a good investment. I specialize in graphic/web/identity design and email marketing. So, if anyone is interested and would like to see examples of my work and get quotes, please PM me.
Hey gbr, can you get in touch with me asap please? I've paid your full rate of 21.25BTC.I would like my files thanks.

Thank you, film2240! Please check your PM, I've sent you the link to all files.

He charged me 25BTC for a A2 movie poster. When I told him that was too high,he agreed to drop this to 21.25BTC.Flexibility is just as important as getting a bargain.Pay too little and you lose flexibility (in general terms that is).

Film2240, you are confusing OP of this thread with me. I am the designer who contacted you and made the poster for 21.25 BTC.

can you run a windows compiled "tail" either from Services for Unix (SFU) from microsoft, or cygwin.com on debug.log in the %appdata%\bitcoin directory. It should tell you whether it is still doing anything or not.

Yep, it's still cooking. Also, taking >40MB of RAM.

My client doesn't properly stop when closed. I can still see bitcoin-qt running in the task manager. Does anybody have the same issue? I'm on Windows 7.

I have the same issue on OSX 10.6.8

I'm on Windows Vista.

I've had it take up anywhere between 30-45 seconds to stop after the gui has gone due to tidying up, writing to the database, clearing database logs etc. This is on a truecrypt encrypted drive though.

marked

In my case it doesn't stop at all. Have to 'End Process'.

What would happen to the stocks if GLBSE hypothetically went down? Would there be any way to claim ownership?

Hello!

I would like to participate in this competition:

[BOUNTY] 15 BTC for designing a logo
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=64159.0

My entry for the competition is ready for posting. The deadline is today. I am not new to bitcoin. Also, I have been lurking here for some time already. Would appreciate a lot to be whitelisted. Thanks!

EDIT: Nevermind, already got in.
