Account Limited / Flagged?
by
gc40
on 24/03/2014, 17:16:34 UTC
I tried to login to one of my older accounts and found that it had been tarnished with a bad rating of negative trust. In early 2013 it seemed these forums or my account had been directly accessed by a hacker using an exploit. I only just logged in today to see that my account had been BANNED as well - Who do I report this to and find out exactly what happened?

Shipping Container Mining Farm
by

on 10/01/2014, 19:41:41 UTC
I am in the process of outfitting a shipping container with 8 x 42U rack. Each rack will have 8 servers inside with 6 GPU per server. In the interest of cooling, we have a contained hot side and cold side.  We extract the hot air with 10 extraction fans and cool the inflow fresh air with 10 coil fans. The container is 20 feet in length with the server racks running directly down the center with the front facing the cold side and back facing the hot side. Anyone have any advice or potential warnings for our new design concept?

White Label License - Trade Engine
by

on 27/12/2013, 10:31:36 UTC
We have an established banking partnership and money services license required to run an exchange.  We just need the software end of things.  At first we started developing it ourselves and have realized the amount of time and effort to build a market ready exchange and have therefore decided to explore a white label license.

Can anyone suggest any besides Bex and or Buttercoin?

Re: Buying WDC for verified PayPal

Looking to buy 500 WDC from someone. Let me know if you can do this.

Paypal is generally not used in the community because of the charge backs associated with it. However, there is a process that will allow you to get just a few dollars into the ecosystem but you will be hit hard on the fees charged.

Step 1. Go to virwox.com, sign-up, get verified (optional but wise because withdraws will take 48 hours for security)
Step 2. Buy some SLL using paypal (only a small amount allowed - you lose around 18% of your money at this point)
Step 3. Buy BTC with SLL on Virwox.
Step 4. Withdraw your newly purchased BTC to a BTC-e.com, Cryptsy.com, Bter.com wallet.
Step 5. Buy WDC with your BTC

Good luck.

The Most Efficient Rig
by
gc40
on 11/06/2011, 18:13:24 UTC
I am looking for a rig that will run well and will not destroy my electricity bill. I am not looking to be cheap, I want this to be a powerful rig, but I don't want to go for the "new, top of the line" stuff. I am looking for the current consumer market stuff that will be easily traded off when looking at what it can compute vs. its electrical consumption.

What would this efficient rig consist of?

Thanks Bitcoiners Smiley

It's the opposite.
I was pledging one carrot. But to get you that one carrot today, I have to pay as much as for 10000 carrots back then.

Next time I will say I pledge whatever X USD will be in Bitcoins when it is finished ...

I'm pretty sure he can back-out whenever he wants. Its his BTC.

Re: Bitcoin Payment Module for Magento

Here is what the main guy (Brian) who is working on this said:
I've now got the bitcoin settings in the admin pages so it can be turned on and off, and I have a test product in the store.  Next is adding the code to talk to the local bitcoind.  That code exists already at bitcoin.org.  I'm too busy to make that priority #1 but its moving along.

This weekend I am doing speeches at 2 different events around the Bay Area about bitcoin!  That's why I'm busy now.  One of them is going to be tough and technical, for the Bay Area Hackers Association in SF.  They want technology and crypto talk.  The other is at a floating anarchist festival out on the delta near Stockton.  They will pick me up in a speedboat and drive me out to the event!  That one is Saturday at noon I think.  So I am busy preparing two different speeches.

Bitcoin hit $32!

Crazy!

B

I'm not sure what his ID is on the forums here, but I imagine he would love some help!

Hey MemoryDealers, this is taking too long. I am willing to get my team of developer at the office to start developing this. Can anyone assist with funding?

I will follow the features needed such as a direct tie to MtGox exchange, if btc is selected as payment option the billing address becomes null, etc etc. I will finalize a list of things unless MemoryDealers can get his guy to put this as a priority 1 for people like myself who need it.

Thank you. I found some other people doing sites for next to nothing, but they are reselling templates. We do everything from a fresh start and treat each client like a major one.

It is a long process but in the end our clients are always pleased. Want to give us a go ?  Grin

Hi Soul4Soul. Websites do vary and I often here my boss saying this to clients when they ask that general question. But we have a very strong approach to web development unlike most companies. We follow a strict waterfall model that is comprised of 7 phases and each phase is handled by different staff members.

An average 5 page website, with hosting, domain reg, email and SEO runs around $800 USD. Keep in mind they are custom designed, custom written and all come with a CMS. I would also be willing to do it on the side myself to earn some bitcoins.
