Re: Is Bitcoin digital gold or digital cash?

I think bitcoin is both a storage value and a payment system because bitcoin brings us extra revenue, its value is changing over time, and many shops now support bitcoin payments.

What do you think Bitcoin is only five hundred dollars by the end of 2018? Although I do not know what you experienced, but I always believe that Bitcoin will rise by the end, not down.

Re: Will Bitcoin become centralized sometime in the future?

It shows from the past months that BTC can easily be manipulated by the whales and financial institutions,so its morelikely being centralized currency now bigplayers always wins.
In fact, I do not want bitcoin to be concentrated sometime in the future, this is not the same as the original character of bitcoin. Bitcoins become bad, not serving the ordinary people, but in the hands of whales and financial institutions, Operation, Bitcoin lost its meaning, if bitcoin becomes the official currency, I will not be interested in it.

Re: Bitcoin being taxed?

It may be that only taxation can Bitcoin be recognized by the government for its legitimacy. One of the big reasons why the government does not accept bitcoin is that it can not control people's assets and can not tax it. It would not do any good for them, if government taxes Tax, Bitcoin will soon be legal.

Almost all of BTC traders/holders/newbies/investors talking about BTC crash due to Chinese new year, but anyone knows what's the connection between chineese new year and BTC ?

 Undecided Undecided Undecided
I can explain it to you because China has a lot of people who invest in bitcoin. The Spring Festival is a very important festival in China, you need to buy and buy many things for the Spring Festival, such as buying new clothes, buying couplets, giving gifts to parents, gathering, etc., and the Spring Festival Prices are high, which all need to cash Bitcoin, which affects the price of bitcoin.

Although Litecoin has a lot of room to grow, it is not impossible to call it king of all coins. I think bitcoin is the king of all coins, and of course you can buy Litecoin at a low price, although some people do not Optimistic about it, but who can predict the future?

Before I was misled by a news article on China's banning of bitcoin, I would not have believed any news without any specific news and official news links. There is a lot of news that the media is trying to draw the reader's attention I'd be happy if the news for you is real because it shows that the cryptocurrency has gradually become legalized.

I do not think there is anything that can replace bitcoin at this stage, but do not exaggerate the role of bitcoin. There are so many smart people in the world that nothing can not happen. Earth does not spin without bitcoin, Bitcoin What the currency brings to us is an investment return, so we recognize Bitcoin as the greatest, but it does not mean that people around the world agree with him.

Re: Is the future of bitcoin dependent on India and China?
by

Recent  utterances from India's finance minister seem to have stricken fear in the entire cryptocurrency world. Utterances and
government decisions from these  countries seem to have massive effects on cryptocurrencies. What's the way forward for cryptos, especially  bitcoin without these countries.
I do not think this Indian country will have a significant impact on Bitcoin, but China can influence Bitcoin because China has a large population and fast economic growth. As far as I know, there is currently no explicit ban on bitcoin in China,I think Japan and South Korea's contribution to Bitcoin and the impact is greatest.

Re: Will Valentine's Day affect BTC?

I'm really curious if market pump celebrations affect BTC and how?❤❤❤
Bitcoin community growing so fast. Many are interested and become inloved with bitcoin. Many people will going to buy bitcoin than flowers. I guess bitcoin price will go up and up again.  Keep being inloved. Thankyou bitcoin.
Yes, I do not think flowers will be more attractive than bitcoin. Valentine's Day can be done every year, but bitcoin can not be bought anytime soon. Even if you sell bitcoin at this moment to buy Valentine's Day gifts, It may not be a good idea to buy bitcoins back at a higher price in the future.

Good News, Japan is recovering from recent hack and is set to bring the market back up! So happy!
This is good news, and now the bitcoin forums are all discussing why bitcoin prices have fallen, and I've already felt everyone panicked and still hesitating to sell, and the bitcoin community now needs good news to offset everyone's alarm.

If your private key is not lost then your money is safe and you can put your money in a safer wallet, such as an Ethereum wallet or a hardware wallet, and I wish you good luck.

China's three major virtual currencies trading platform Bitcoin China, Coin Network, OKCoin currency have announced that they will cease trading business, the Chinese regulatory authorities so resolute and beyond imagination. I would like to know why China prohibits bitcoin. What is the reason, who can tell me?
This is the news link I saw before:http://www.myzaker.com/article/59bf055a9490cb703500002b/
What do you think happens when everyone invests in crypto? Without any investment in the construction of life projects, losing a significant amount of tax money makes the annual total unsatisfactory.
You make sense that China is a big tax country. If everyone uses bitcoin, it will have a tremendous impact on the national treasury. Public affairs and state science and technology research and development rely on tax revenue. Bitcoin is contrary to China's national conditions.

Chinese government officials are the main culprit why Bitcoin is being banned in their countries. There are several hypothesis why they are doing this. First, imagine if majority of Chinese people are just doing Bitcoin the whole day, there manpower in a lot of industries and factories will be crippled. We all know that China has a lot of factories and many factory workers. It would result to disaster if all or most people would do bitcoin. Second, Bitcoin makes bank loss huge some of money.
I also read other news about the reasons for China's restriction on the development of bitcoin. They think bitcoin has an impact on the RMB's status and does not match the future internationalization strategy of the RMB. This is not conducive to China's economic development. And China Prohibition of illegal mining, although they do not state that the prohibition, but the behavioral aspects of Bitcoin transactions in many ways, I think this bitcoin will be a negative blow.

Well we all have these experiences that somehow will teach us that it is better to wait. As the old saying goes, patience is a virtue. I don't have that much to juggle between coins so sometimes i really get tempted to sell when i am eyeing on a coin with a better potential than what i hold. There may be times in which we are tempted to sell, but just remember, never sell when your losing. I heard that from a long term trader and i applied that in my investments.
Yes, patience is a virtue. A friend around me continues to hold it if everyone is not optimistic about the coins he holds, and his coin prices are now back up, although patience it's a virtue, but it's rare to stick to it.

Re: Why people says gold is better?
by
gcckpxm62308
on 01/02/2018, 07:37:23 UTC
Gold is a mechanism to store value / purchasing power, though we cannot use it directly to buy goods or services nowadays due to the difficulty of measurement.

Bitcoin, on the other hand, is hard to be a payment method due to high transaction fee a slow transaction time when it comes to small payment.

Yes, because gold is a mechanism to store value/ purchasing power. But for me, bitcoin is much better now than gold, because some markets, stores, you can paid using bitcoins.
Bitcoin payments are not yet widespread, and now only a handful of stores in a handful of countries support bitcoin payments. If you take gold to pay, I think more stores are willing to accept gold instead of bitcoin.
