Binance has been having problems with their exchange for over a week now. Which exchange should we move to?

Your first problem is thinking that all these exchanges are secure. Your second problem is listening to your 'friend' instead of doing your own research on exchanges to see which one you feel comfortable using, instead of what your friend experiences buying 20$ of bitcoin every month.
Exchanges are per definition not secure. But if I were to choose, KuCoin was never breached in their security. But still if you're that anxious use cold wallet for storage.
There he is, our guy bringing in the gist 😀 but in all seriousness, man's got a point. that exchange was never breached in history.
I tried one but I falied. There is something I dont know? Please tell me more.
What you need to know is: being new in trading is almost always a failure. You don't expect to make money as a trading beginner anyway. You trade as a beginner to gain knowledge and experience, so as you learn, you hopefully gain enough experience and knowledge to actually make a profit in the future.
Be patient with the process. Study. Study. study. There's no other way around it.
i also lose before when i was new in the market. thankfully I learned a lot from it and now doing good with trading

Go with investing cryptocurrencies, there are cryptocurrencies that you can do staking, leveraging and there's also some event where you can earn more than that.

there's restaurants who were accepting bitcoin and there are many more like Subway, Burger King, KFC, Playboy and I heard Amazon but its kind of hard to understand.
