Hey everyone

Im looking for information/advice on how to go about developing a coin. I do not have any technical knowledge, however I do have extensive knowledge of the industry behind the block chain that I am interesting buliding. If there is anyone on these boards that can give me a little guidance? I would be very appreciative.

What are the basic requirements behind creating this new technology?

What types of developers are needed to put together a new project?

Is there anyone that you can recommend that I speak with?

thank you

best times to trade coin 2 coin in relation to fluctuating values???

Hi everyone

Im relatively new to trading and have come upon a question that I need to ask...

How do you manage trades between coins when the prices are fluctuating? There has to be an optimal time to put trades through in order to maximize the profitability of the trade?

Is it something as simple as looking for situations where the coin you are trading away is up, and the one you are buying is down? Or are there other ways to look at this?

thank you for your help

There is no denying that during the eatly months, its easier to rank up an account. But due to ever growing number of participants in the furom, the dev decided to make some new regulation and now ranking up requires new requirement. Though it happened, the older member have also go through the process. Anotger thing is that, this forum is not just for you to gain airdrop, this forum is primarily used on orienting holders or investors to what kind od project is promising anf has good potential. Drops arr just a bunos but not the main motivation to join here.

face-off

You are right about the main purpose of the boards. It is to learn from each other and not just simply get airdrops. However, it is because of the onion airdrop that I have arrived at this forum. Im glad that I did, because I will defiantly be hanging around this community to learn as much as possible. I'm not the kind person who is here to simply look for handouts. I am here to learn and help the crypto world grow into its yet undiscovered potential. I will add this...I am currently a student studying computer science and have yet to decide my focus of study. The more I become involved in the crypto world, the more I'm considering going into blockchain technologies.

I've been here for a long time and this merit system is new to me. Care to explain what you know about it and how?

The basic concept that I understand is that there are varying levels of membership in the board. In order to move up levels, you must collect merits. As one graduates up through the levels they gain additional rights and access on the board. Merits are given out in a couple of different ways. The most general way to gain merits is based the amount of the that you are logged into the site. Those merits are given out at specified time frames and are based on log in time. The second way to gain merits is by posting on the boards. You do not get merits automatically by posting. They must be given by those who already have merits. Once merits are given away to another person, they are subtracted from the balance of the person giving them. Merits are given for posts based on the value that the post adds to the discussion.

Simply put.. those who have the power must share it with those who seem worthy.

There is one other way...Ive seen some members offering merits to newbies for completing tasks. For the most part, the offers I have seen require crazy amounts of work and posting. Seems a bit excessive imo.

the merit system is a very good idea. It definitely helps maintain the validity of the information that is being shared. It just needs to be adjusted a bit so that it they are more attainable.

Hi everyone,
I'd like to preface this post by saying, Im not begging for anything. Im just looking to start a discussion about possible membership reform. I have read the newbie forum posts and understand the system that is in place.

I am fairly new to cryptocurrency, so Ive got a lot to learn. I have however been using the TOR browser for quite some time, and believe in its value. That is why I  am interested in the ONION coin airdrops. I do realize that there are specific requirements that need to be fulfilled to be eligible for the drops. However, for someone who is new to crypto and is still learning; the required steps to gain merits on this board seem a little steep. I would love to be part of this growing community and to contribute to the discussions; but because I am new, I have not gained the knowledge to respond in an educated manner to many of the posts. Therefore I'm not going to put some bullshit up there just so I can gain merits. There needs to be a better way to do this. If the purpose of a community like this is to educate and ramp up support for what we believe in; then it makes more sense to try to be a little more inclusive of the new members.

just my two cents because I want to play too

thank you for any responses

It's a way to make an ICO known amongst community. Mostly you get free tokens or a stake to spread the word and incentivize other people to take part in the ICO.

I agree with this idea. However, for someone who is new to crypto and is still learning; the required steps to gain merits on this board seem a little steep. Im open to suggestions
