Awesome to see so many options trading platform in the market now. Even better for us because we can arbitrage / go for the one with the most liquidity, best fees.

Bitcoin volatility should be embraced! This article is not bad in explaining how we can profit through options trading
As I see SPO tokens is available for trading already to few pairs? May I convert SPO to Ethereum or other coins right now?
At this moment, Converting SPO to any other cryptocurrency is currently inactive. It is in our plans and interest to have Convert Now feature be available both ways for SPO but, we do not have a fixed date set for it to happen.
Why dony you have date? And whats problem with converting to other currencies if you have posibility convert from any currencies to your SPO token? Do you have a problems with liquidity?
There are a few things that need to fall into place. Once those things happen, SPO will be active on Convert Now. Until then, you can enjoy 50% off on Trading fees on Sparrow exchange with the SPO. No issues regarding liquidity.
Exchange launched half of year ago. And since this time you havent possibility for both way trading your token. It seems strange, as every exchange is trading own token...
Actually SPO can be used in the platform, when you want to trade options - you can use it for 50% fee discount. not too shabby imo!

Re: [ANN] Sparrow | Leading options trading platform powered by smart contracts
Puts represent the right to sell the underlying asset at a specified strike price at the expiration date. While options can be a powerful weapon in a trader's arsenal ( as you can see in the OP) it requires a big learning curve if you want to do it professionally. Being a derivative product it needs at least basic technical analysis and risk management principles to be viable. So guys please be careful if you want to get into the options endeavour
True! thanks for sharing~ Do you trade options yourself?

nice! I like how buy put carries less risk than short. However, personally sometimes I think twice about buying options cause I dont like the feeling of "paying upfront" for the small sum of premium (altho I know I may lose more shorting lol)

Re: Crypto volatile again, Whats stopping you from trying Options Trading?
If BTC falls below 9k, you can force someone to buy your BTC at 9k]
How come? Can you please explain? I know the options market pretty well and found your statement amusing.
In this above scenario, if no one buys your contract, do your company offers physical settlement? Obviously the trader will have to pay the remaining price!
Please explain!
hmm i think venalli was referring to options trading in general, not specifically to Sparrow Exchange (they have a very helpful community on Telegram https://t.me/SparrowExchange! helped to explain alot of options concepts to a noob like me)
That statement is right if it is on physical settlement, Sparrow I think they only offer cash-settlement (which is like what you said, buyer of the option earns the price difference) for now. But the thing about options is that since you set strike price at 9K, it means as a seller, you are ok to sell it at 9K, so still win-win situation

Re: Crypto volatile again, Whats stopping you from trying Options Trading?
Thanks for explaining how options trading works. It might be useful for some newbie traders, but I already know how they work. The risk is less, but it's still there. If the bitcoin price collapses and the option expires, you lose the price paid for the option-$100.Not bad,but if you bought bitcoins directly, there's still a chance that bitcoin price might recover and you could get profit in the long term. By the way, where are you trading bitcoin options?
Hahaha i like your permabull thinking! that's why i rarely buy options, only when I think there may be significant movement, then I will make some trades. Otherwise i prefer selling options for premium, to me it has better returns than staking or lending ( altho there are risks too).

Hello!
Great question. I think most people know if Deribit, with it being the oldest platform after all. I've also seen a new options trading platform, Sparrow Exchange in the news recently. Sounds interesting, with their "simplified options trading" and trades settled on smart contracts.
