Yes, it is great for custom set up if you need something run online.  With leaderboards, its tough to know how exactly each game manager would like to do for a leaderboard system, so with my site, the system keeps the tournament results and the host themselves can manage a leaderboard based on the results.

You are using a host account when you are trying to make a player account under that host.

You create your account under the sign up form in the dashboard.  THat assings you to a host.  Then the host needs to have games to play and credit you with chips to play. (the test demo is for you to try to be the host)
