Re: Are Crypto Transactions Traceable?
by
giantrobot
on 12/05/2021, 17:59:42 UTC
I’m wondering are there ways to trace Crypto transactions like tracing an IP of someone when doing online transactions if so what are ways to protect yourself from getting traced. I’m rather uninformed on the subject and I would like to get up to speed on the current happenings right now.

In the crypto market, everyone involved can follow when you participate in cryptocurrency trading. I think this is normal nothing to worry about. Even if they spy on you, it is difficult to steal information and property if you know how to keep them safe. So there is no need to anonymize transactions.

Re: Would it be foolish to take out a crypto loan at this stage of the bull market?
by
giantrobot
on 12/05/2021, 17:50:46 UTC
I am looking to increase my bitcoin holdings and i am looking at taking a crypto backed loan with one of the leading platforms? i would be fine to take this loan out a few months ago but at this stage of the bull run how risky would it be ,i know a loan can be risky to begin with, but am i just playing with fire or is there a good chance it will pay off? it would be a 15000 dollar loan a 50% ltv for more information, thanks
In my opinion, you should not borrow cryptocurrency while the price increases like this. First you need to identify a few problems:
1. If you borrow at this time, interest rates will be high. So when do you pay off your debt? When you take a risk, you still accept it without regrets.
 2. More importantly if you borrow Bitcoin in the meantime. If the benefits outweigh the possible risks, it's up to you to decide.

Re: The higher BTC goes, the bigger the risk/reward ratio and the less buyers enter
by
giantrobot
on 12/05/2021, 11:26:46 UTC
Maybe what you mean is that  as the price increases in the future, the exponential growth will slow down, which is true. However, what makes the argument is that bitcoin is going to be scarce as well, that's why it is the most sought asset in crypto because of this one. Yes, the growth might stall, but with more people looking to buy at whatever price it is, I doubt that there are less buyers that are going to enter, on the contrary it might balloon as everyone is looking to make bigger profits in the future.
I am also thinking about this issue. The higher the Bitcoin price, the fewer participants will be. Because investing in Bitcoin has many unpredictable risks. Once there is a risk, you will lose nothing. So no one wants to lose money. That is why they rarely buy. This in turn led to another result. When few people join, the rewards from Bitcoin and campaigns will be very high. That's what I'm expecting.

Re: I'm now all in BTC. All eggs in one basket!
by
giantrobot
on 12/05/2021, 11:19:08 UTC
I'm now all in BTC and haven't sold a bit since 2013. I have a few Litecoins left somewhere but too few to mention.

I know putting all eggs in one basket is not very wise but I don't feel like investing in anything else right now. Is this a risky move? Maybe yes, maybe not.

I plan HODLing more, might sell a small percentage around November when odds say BTC might boost like crazy.

What's your plan?
That was the right decision. Be patient when you hoard Bitcoin for up to 8 years. Now you can sell to get a good return on your capital. Bitcoin is on the rise and I think that is the ideal price so you can sell a little or hold it all. Because things can change and I'm not always lucky.

Re: One Year After The 2020 Halving, Bitcoin Price Has Gained 533%
by
giantrobot
on 12/05/2021, 11:13:51 UTC
The price will rise even in spite of this. But most likely this year we should not expect any significant changes
It was too big a change and too sudden. I don't believe Bitcoin can go up in price so fast after halving in 2020. I'm starting over again after failing. Hopefully in the near future the price of Bitcoin will rise sharply and I can make a lot of money.

Re: people stop complain about economy and ccovid
by
giantrobot
on 12/05/2021, 10:46:23 UTC
We can't just simply say to others not to complain.

There are people who are now at the bottom because of Covid-19 and got affected by what it brings to the economy. Yes, with or without Covid, the economy can fall but this time, it's different.

I know people are working hard to make some adjustments and make their living as normal as before as they don't have a choice. They stay positive even in hard times and that's good.

We must understand, sympathize and share with those who are in trouble when the covid pandemic occurs. They are really financially difficult. Not everyone can easily overcome it. You try to think that no matter how hard you work, the epidemic forces shops, companies, services... to close, how can they make money to support the whole family. If someone is rich, please do charity work to help those who have difficulty translating covid to.

Re: The Modern Mode of Payments
by
giantrobot
on 12/05/2021, 10:38:37 UTC
We can't compare the E-payments such as the Paypal to cryptocurrency they have to understand first what is Bitcoin and other Cryptos they might be surprised of the price change of the Bitcoin and cryptocurrency compared to Paypal and other E-payments. Cryptocurrency is volatile.
Actually, to be successful in the cryptocurrency sector is not easy at all. Bitcoin's price is constantly changing. Sometimes it makes me worry, I think if it falls, I will lose everything. But Bitcoin meets the needs of modern payments: fast speed, cheap cost.

Re: What are the chances BTC is actually overtaken by another crypto?
by
giantrobot
on 11/05/2021, 23:41:06 UTC
When the famous Satoshi Nakamoto first designed his masterpiece, few could possibly have imagined the almost $63,500 peak that sent investors into a frenzy.

Read and Share your Opinion

https://cryptoplo.com/what-are-the-chances-btc-is-actually-overtaken-by-another-crypto/

I do not believe that a time will come when bitcoin will be overtaken by another cryptocurrencies.  Considering the many factors that contributes to the success of bitcoin as the number one cryptocurrency, you'd realise that no other cryptocurrencies comes close.
If you'd talk in terms of price, bitcoin tops the list. The second cryptocurrency is Ethereum and it just surpassed the $4k mark unlike bitcoin that has a ATH of $63k.
Secondly, talking about adoption, bitcoin has gain widespread adoption more than any other cryptocurrency. This is partially due to the fact that it is the first cryptocurrency and partially due to the fact that quite a lot of top companies are adopting it.
I also think like you. Hardly any cryptocurrency can surpass Bitcoin. This has not happened so far. Currently, the cryptocurrency market has a lot of investment coins that are all profitable. It was previously predicted that ETH will surpass Bitcoin but so far this has not happened.

Re: Where do you store your seed?
by
giantrobot
on 11/05/2021, 23:36:10 UTC
I also have my seeds written on paper and laminated it.  Buried it underground enclosed in a waterproof capsule.  Lamination for added protection, and buried underground to be fireproof.  I also create several backups of my seeds on flash disks.  Having both digital and tangible backups also help in case an unexpected thing happens.
I find you to be very careful how you store your seeds. Especially storing too digital backups. It is much safer and easier to check than it is to write down paper or bury it underground, as many people do. It avoids the destruction of time and other objective factors.

I have seen that bitcoin is important and everyone wants to have it even me if I have the money and opportunity to get 1btc I will engage in sincere activity to have it, and bitcoin is viral, because the things I heard concerning bitcoin in news always interest me, but the problem is that what will I do to know bitcoin more better

You want to understand that Bitcoin is not there. There are a lot of ways to gain knowledge about Bitcoin right now. But in my opinion the simplest version can be found on the internet to know Bitcoin well. I encourage you to get into the cryptocurrency sector. Personally, I see this as an investment field that has brought huge profits ever since. The value of Bitcoin is so high that you have to be careful when investing.

Re: Is someone worried about the recent decline of BTC?
by
giantrobot
on 11/05/2021, 23:23:00 UTC
Is someone worried about the recent decline of BTC? Don't worry, and it won't lose BTC's momentum in the future. A new report from Whalemap shows the largest cluster of whale coins in the range is 120,000 BTC at $ 58,000. As such, the lowest price can drop now at $ 52,000

$ 52,000 “Should Be BTC Floor.”
https://medium.com/snapbots-news/snapbots-news-review-bitcoin-drops-but-bull-run-wont-end-9090f739a6f3

It could drop to $40,000 and I'm still no worried at all. You have to think long term in this market. It will come back stronger than before. Relax and enjoy the ride, everything will be fine as long as you have strong hands.
You are so optimistic, that's a very good thing. I know the Bitcoin market is always volatile up and down and everything will be fine. But this time I am a bit worried because the covid19 pandemic extends many people in the world, the economy goes down, Bitcoin sometimes collapses according to the epidemic. Should I keep Bitcoin for now? Your opinion?

Re: My feelings after 11 years with crypto.
by
giantrobot
on 09/05/2021, 00:19:47 UTC
I have many different feelings when it comes to cryptocurrency. There are times when you are happy when making a profit, when participating in a successful bonus campaign. But I also experienced many ups and downs in this market. At times, Bitcoin's depreciation is almost completely lost, working for no money. That crisis period I was very sad. After that I did not give up but continued to invest until now. I believe there are times when I am lucky.

Re: buying bitcoin and the seeming impossibility of keeping anonymous
by
giantrobot
on 09/05/2021, 00:00:47 UTC
It is also good that you cannot remain anonymous when buying cryptocurrencies. This will limit scams from bad guys. I think if I trade Bitcoin properly, there's nothing to anonymize. Any profession that wants to last long must keep its reputation.

Re: Crypto kings and queens: Who are they?
by
giantrobot
on 08/05/2021, 22:57:48 UTC

Hello, crypto fans

We all know Satoshi Nakamoto. But the cryptocurrency industry would be nothing without its innovators who have worked hard to turn it into a success.
These people have fostered the popularity of cryptocurrency and are one of the reasons why it’s so widespread around the world.

Thanks to them, the world has Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies, as well as a plethora of innovations in the form of digital assets, platforms and systems.
Not only that, these cryptocurrency trailblazers continue to drive the crypto movement towards mainstream finance adoption and other developments.

The crypto industry is yet to reach its full potential. You never know what new innovations will be made to improve it,
but you can rest assured that the best minds are on the case. Keep reading to learn more about some of the most influential people in crypto:

Changpeng Zhao: Founder of Binance

Changpeng Zhao, also known as ‘CZ’, is the CEO of the largest cryptocurrency exchange in the world.
After studying computer science at McGill University, CZ began to work in the financial and technology sector.

His extensive experience in the industry includes being a developer for trading software and a technology officer for OkCoin.
However, the real magic began when Zhao founded Binance in 2017.

Binance first started out in China then soon expanded to countries like Japan and Taiwan as their success continued to grow.
Trusted by millions of users worldwide, the exchange continues to be a trailblazer in the industry.

Today, Zhao continues to dedicate his time and effort into Binance and its growth. It maintains a steady flow of demand despite being
one of the oldest crypto exchange platforms. Meanwhile, its native token BNB coin is also gaining traction in the market.

Vitalik Buterin: Founder of Ethereum

Known as the great mind behind Ethereum and Bitcoin Magazine, Vitalik Buterin is undoubtedly a household name in the crypto world.
At a young age, he was already drawn to technology, maths and economics.

In 2013, he proposed a whitepaper that plotted his plans for the Ethereum platform and cryptocurrency, which was then launched the following year.
Since then, Ethereum rose through the ranks and is now one of the best cryptocurrencies in the world. With a market capitalization of $249 billion,
it maintains its place after Bitcoin.

Brian Armstrong: CEO of Coinbase

Brian Armstrong is well known in the crypto industry because of his opinions regarding different issues and controversies in the crypto sphere,
as well as suggestions on improving it. Some of these include his clash with the Trump administration in 2020 and his words of wisdom to crypto
beginners about getting started in the industry. Armstrong started his career as a software developer and engineer for companies like Airbnb and IBM.

Upon acquiring $150,000 worth of funding in 2012, Armstrong used it to launch Coinbase. It soon became one of the most sought-after crypto exchanges
worldwide with more than 43 million users. Today, Coinbase is the first and only cryptocurrency exchange that has filed with the SEC to go public.

Joseph Lubin: Founder of ConsenSys

Born and raised in Canada, Joseph Lubin grew to pursue his passion for finance and computer science. After graduating from Princeton University,
his career slowly took off until he became the COO for EthSuisse, where he worked on the program-storing capabilities of blockchain.

Soon after, Lubin was invited by Vitalik Buterin to be one of the co-founders of Ethereum. He contributed to improving ETH through blockchain programs.
However, he is most known for founding Consensys in 2015. ConsenSys is a production studio dedicated to software and applications that are designed
to run on the Ethereum blockchain.

Amiti Uttarwar: The first woman to contribute to developing Bitcoin Core’s underlying code

In the cryptocurrency industry, female names are rarely heard of. However, this all changed when Amiti Uttarwar, a Bitcoin Protocol Engineer for
Bitcoin Core became one of the first women to contribute to developing its underlying code.

Uttarwar started her career as a developer who was proficient in dozens of coding languages. This gave her the opportunity to work with big names
in the crypto industry such as Coinbase.

Moreover, her career took off in Bitcoin Core where she became the first woman to contribute and gain funding to work on the software.
Aside from this, she also mentors other aspiring professionals who are looking to start a career in the industry as well.

Pavel Durov: Creator of privacy-focused messaging app, Telegram

Who would have guessed that a messaging app would be able to contribute to the crypto world? This is exactly what Pavel Durov,
the ‘Mark Zuckerberg of Russia’, did when Telegram was launched in 2013.

Durov believes everyone should have access to private communication. With the help of his brother, Nikolai Durov, the application soon became
a popular platform for crypto enthusiasts. Telegram became a gathering hub for crypto enthusiasts because of its privacy features.
It also supports news channels for crypto, as well as updates on crypto trading signals.

Brad Garlinghouse: CEO of Ripple, the 4th best cryptocurrency in the world

Garlinghouse specialises in financial technology and has worked for notable companies like AOL and Yahoo!
In 2015, he joined the Ripple team as COO and was promoted to CEO the following year.

Although the company has had its fair share of problems, especially with the latest SEC lawsuit, Garlinghouse remains positive.
The company has since bounced back and maintains the 4th spot of the best cryptocurrencies in the world.

These crypto kings and queens along with countless others are the reason why the cryptocurrency industry continues to break barriers and grow in popularity.
Public demand has risen and it’s all because of the technological advances and initiatives that stemmed from these experts.

Thanks for reading and you are welcome to share your thoughts.
Who else would you like to point out?

Regards,
Karl from Bitcasino
I think all of the friends listed and named above deserve to be the king and queen of cryptocurrencies. They are really smart, talented and have a lot of contributions to the cryptocurrency market. But I admire the most is Mr. Chris Larsen (Estimated value of virtual currency: 7.5 - 8 billion USD) co-founder, chairman, former CEO of Ripple company issuing virtual currency Ripple (XRP) and supply providing international payment services based on blockchain technology.

Re: Investing in bitcoins for future kids
by
giantrobot
on 08/05/2021, 22:47:36 UTC
As a form of investment, many are buying cryptocurrency in smaller quantities and saving for their kids in the future. With the continuous rising and falling of the currency and the volatility of the market, how do we know the coins to buy and save for future use or is it a waste of money.
Need your thoughts on this tho'...
In my opinion, people should not buy Bitcoin to save money for their children. If waiting for your child to grow up and receive profits from Bitcoin is too far away. Although we know today Bitcoin is a digital currency with many benefits. But at present, governments have not really seen it as a replaceable currency. Should buy it for the future your child will face great risks leading to nothing. I do not recommend doing this.

How long did it take you to jump on the Bitcoin bandwagon?

I first heard about Bitcoin in 2009
I first used Bitcoin in 2013

Took me 4 years!

What about you?
Luckily I know Bitcoin. In 2018 I knew Bitcoin through my grandchildren. My nephew got rich by investing in Bitcoin. I started to learn and found Bitcoin to be the most profitable without any higher areas. Without waiting, I immediately joined Bitcoin. Now I am very satisfied with my decision.

Re: Can bitcoin be hijacked by world billionaires???
by
giantrobot
on 06/05/2021, 22:00:39 UTC
It is obvious that world billionaires are indicating interest into bitcoin of late ,for instance Elon Musk twitted that you can now purchase his Tesla cars with bitcoin, is he trying to hod bitcoins so it will be scarce then he control and dictate the price of the market or is it for the good of bitcoin that we have been expecting ,what do you think
As the world's billionaires invest in Bitcoin, bitcoin will continue to surge. We always encourage billionaires to buy Bitcoin. When they buy Bitcoin hoarding, it leads to Bitcoin scarcity, the price of bitcoin will skyrocket. That is how they make a profit. You know the billionaire Michaels Saylo. He is the CEO of business analytics firm MicroStrategy, which boomed thanks to Bitcoin's record-breaking 2020 price hikes. He is behind MicroStrategy's $ 1.1 billion Bitcoin investment.

Re: Buying Bitcoin is like planting trees
by

Buying Bitcoin is like planting trees. The best time to do it is 10 years ago. The second best time is today.

Many people compare to buy Bitcoin are like planting trees! That is absolutely right! Want to become rich and earned a lot of profits you have to spend money to invest long-term, persistent, difficult to earn success.
