and wheter zet needs shops or marketing or anything else, I tend to agree but I think all this would be prematured without more people dedicated to the core.

We need to put more work on the coin very basis, its infrastructure. We need more documentation on the coin specifics (inflation, fast blocks) and more research  on its scalability, the mining ecosystem, nearly instant merges with bitcoin core etc.

zet is not big enough to get funding for a core dev team, but with no professional giving 100% of their time, we should recruit more people giving little time.

all the coins listed in genesis poll got pumped

maybe Genesis can provide some info on why choosing those coins ?

I'm still working on the merge, I actually finished the 0.9.3 merge and working on 0.10 atm. Not sure if it would be useful to release the 0.9.3 (i created the branch on the repo but did not push my changes yet) or stick to the 0.10 merge as bitcoin 0.11 is coming very soon

J'ouvre ce thread pour un appel à contribution pour la traduction en français du superbe ouvrage d'Andreas Antonopoulos "Mastering Bitcoin" paru chez O'Reilly en fin d'année dernière. Il a ouvert hier un projet Transifex pour gérer toutes les traductions et m'a demandé de recruter des personnes désireuses d'aider à la traduction.

J'avais déjà commencé la traduction de cet ouvrage dans mon coin et je suis en train de rentrer les parties que j'ai déjà traduites (à savoir la préface, le chapitre 1 et le début du chapitre 2). Si j'arrive à monter un équipe conséquente nous pourrions trouver un moyen de nous partager le travail en sachant qu'il faut bien sur des traducteurs mais aussi des relecteurs.

J'ai commencé cette traduction pour apprendre plus sur la technologie tout en aidant la communauté francophone qui n'a pas forcément l'anglais "fluent". C'est une bonne opportunité pour apprendre tous les détails de cette technologie, en sachant qu'il s'agit là pour moi de l'ouvrage de référence sur le bitcoin.

Just a little message to say that there are still some supporters out there and I'm one of them.
About the devs concern, I'm currently trying to contact Giskard in order to merge zetacoin core with bitcoin 0.10 asap. We also are working on little projects based on zet blockchain and I hope we'll deliver soon.

If there is some people with dev skills here (any dev skill, really) please contact me, we desperately need more brains to move forward. You could join us on zetacoin's slack team.

Main projects atm are :
- zetacoin core merging
- simplified network monitoring tools
- new desktop wallet with original features (not based on Qt)
- zetacoinj (bitcoinj for zetacoin)

There still a lot of work to do and we are not numerous enough to do all the work needed in time. Help would be welcome !

We will try to communicate more about what we are doing in the near future, we're thinking about some kind of organization only in charge of zet infrastructure and dev communication, and we hope this will be on this year.
