[ANN] WoofCoin / New Coin [WOFC] GPU Mining/PoW

WOOF COIN

Since the beginning of the pandemic, pet surrendering rates have increased dramatically around the world. Waitlists for surrendering household pets have increased to a remarkable eight months as animal shelters and welfare organisations have seen an increase of 34% for animals needing help.

Typically, animal shelters are under resourced and under financed; relying heavily on donations and the volunteer efforts to assist animals.

This is where Woof Coin steps in. As avid lovers of dogs, we wanted to make a difference. Using the power of Proof of Work mining, we’ve created a coin where miners are contributing to the donation of money to animal welfare shelters. These shelters initially include the ASPCA who already have a cryptocurrency donation mechanism but with intention to expand to the RSPCA and other organizations suggested by the community.

Our aim is to put animals first and we intend on developing ongoing relationships with pet shelters to help adoption.

Coins Specifications
21 billion supply
Block 2,100,000 halving (4 years estimated)
Algorithm: KawPOW

1 - Create 1 buffer for DAG on GPU if driver allows big enough allocation
2 - Created 2 buffers for DAG on GPU
Any explanation?! Does it help for 4GB cards or not :/
Oh, and I need help trying to run SRBMiner on Ergo
on rig with 470 4Gb cards it starts and immediately restarts itself /latest HiveOS/, maybe didn't configure properly?! I just entered nanopool as pool, nothing else.
Nothing in the log to help Sad

Re: lolMiner 0.9.1 - Grin-31 fixes + 4G and 16G support (Nov 25th)
by

Just to drop a number: With current C31 code Vega 64 does 1.1 g/s at 180 W (settings: 1380 / 1000 @ 0.912V) making it the 2nd most profitable algorithm after CNR for V64 (!!!).

You are totally wrong with your calculation. Vega64 can easily make 50+mhs eth with lower than 180w power consumption. ))

Sorry,
was off the scene for a long,
and now have serious thoughts what to mine with Vegas, after Monero fork,
which miner can get 50+ mhs ETH?

Generally what is your thoughts what to mine now with Vegas?

Thank you in advance...

Re: INNOSILICON A10 ETHmaster @485MH/s
by
gin912
on 29/11/2019, 21:47:15 UTC
So.. finally I've decided to buy 2 of those A10 Ethmaster which should make 485MH/s consuming only 750Watts @wall.
Stats are that both of them are using 910 Watts each on efficiency++ mode (which is the one that should consume less) and in fact they mine with an average of 450-460 MH/s. So far.. so good. No problem with that.

What is making me freaking angry is following:

There is no goddamn way to mine using a wallet or mining address as your worker. Yes, exactly, you got it. That's freaking stupid! That restricts you from using any pool (like ethermine.. nanopool.... etc. etc..) and so far.. the only pool where I was able to mine is F2POOL where you have to register to their website and they give a username, which is then related to your wallet registered on the website when you login. That's freaking username mining and not wallet based mining.  Very useful for US.. or EUROPEAN miners that have to live with a good 5-10% rejected shares due to very high pings. You know.. china is geographically far away and i'm forced to use F2POOl since that's the only pool which I am able to connect. And yeah... there's also the 2,5% fee to the pool! (I mean.. that's still 1,5% more than ethermine or nanopool!!).

WTF!?!?! Really, was it so difficult to specify on the website that there's no wallet mining?!
BTW, after several mails to Innosilicon asking for a quick firmware update they gained some time by writing.. "I checked with our engineers but sorry to get back with no positive response. Apologize for the inconvenience."
That's all. No solution available.

So, all in all, don't buy it until this issue is considered history.

P.S: Anyone who wants to see facts.. no worry. I can post screenshots.
P.P.S: Anyone who's in my same situation.. start making some pressure on Innosilicon.. maybe there will be a firmware update to solve this matter.
P.P.P.S: Made several edits.. i was actually too nervous to write it down correctly.

We're all on TRM man, topic is dead

Hi,

Please add Cryptonight-zum-lite

Thanks in advance

The CN variants are dead now in general, thanks to Monero and their cpu/nvidia friendly new algo
At least i always added small algos for you guys when you asked. Not only the profitable ones, but i tried helping small projects too.

Thank dude. Greatly appreciate the small algos support from you. Escpecially the crazy times when a new algo would pop up weekly  Grin Grin Cheesy Cheesy
And what’s wrong - the miner SRB perfectly supports the Cryptonight-zum-lite algorithm everything works fine RX570(4) 8000kh

V1.7.8
- Added new algo 'CN-Gpu' (faster than original implementation in Xmr Stak)
- Much better auto setup on some cards for 'CN-Turtle'
- Added check for last sent share time
- Added aliases for algos, to be more compatible with other miner names
- Prettier stats (when pressing 's')
- Minor bug fixes

+ Ryo will fork soon to CN-Gpu algo
+ Added check for last sent share time, if no share was sent to pool for 30 minutes, miner will restart.
+ To make it easier for everyone, lots of algo name aliases were added, you can now use algo names from Stak, Xmrig, etc... Also you can use coin names, and if an alias exists, it will select the right algo for you.

Examples for "cryptonight_type" :

- tube
- monero
- cryptonight_turtle
- masari

etc..

Also added aliases for Masari, Stellite and Turtle for MoneroOcean, so miner will now switch to those coins.
is there any coin already mining on this algo cn-gpu?
any number for the benchmark cn-gpu?
