If there is now a real team behind ITZ, please make a team page on your site.

I think there is a site update planned but not sure it includes information about the team

The fact you can't join a pool is discouraging to those who think they may never win a block . Being in a pool provides a sense of security that you will get rewarded for your efforts as opposed to your own personal luck. Whether this is true or not is irrelevant, it's just the perception of it being true.

The solution is to not only leech but to also seed (open your port).

addnode entries in the conf file don't result in my win clients connecting to my daemon. My daemon STILL has only 7 connections. I'd stand up more daemons with open ports on other vps boxes but I just don't trust what is occurring. I'm halting this daemon.

I'm a nub or whatever, but this launch has me questioning things I've had the luxury of not questioning for any other launch.

I stood up a Linux daemon with 51339 open and synced nearly instantly. I stood up 2 windows wallets without 51339 and they both failed to sync until I forwarded 51339. You have a problem with your wallet and that's the primary reason why everyone here is complaining about a peers list.

/edit: my daemon currently has 7 active connections... if the network is this starved of full nodes, I'd be well above 7 conns

all this is excellent, but tell me why I again lost the connection? 0 active connections ...

Because the dev built some kind of backasswards product that requires port forwarding to sync blocks. What decade is this? Shit, in what decade did you have to port forward to DOWNLOAD?

Never seen a project where the windows wallet has to have port forwarding to sync... a bit odd.

I have UPNP disabled since it's a security risk.

You don't want your wallet to silently open ports for you.
Even then, you will probably have to enable it in your router to allow UPNP.

But it's better to do all that manually.

I don't know if I'm some kind of luddite but when I launch a wallet I expect it to connect and start downloading blocks without any work on my behalf. This is the first wallet I've come across where I'm expected to do some port forwarding just to get synching and that honestly feels purposely obtuse.

There's a push to get on crypto-bridge. The btc is nearly collected. The coin was seemingly abandoned by the original devs and there are discussions about making a new ANN for the project since it has found new life.

For those interested in master nodes, this is a high ROI coin with a stable master node daemon. There are some escrow services around where you can purchase enough coin for a MN. You could also do some mining over at http://pool.spurri.com/ which is intended to be the official pool for this project.

coinsmarkets and novaexchange are slowly getting their stuff back together as well. It could be traded on as many as 3 exchanges in the pretty near future so assume the price is going to jump a bit.

Yeah was very excited to discover this project at this stage. Would have liked to have gotten in earlier, but it is still very early and the hype train hasn't even really turned its attention in this direction at any point.

Is there a way to unlock your wallet I don't remember or can find were I wrote my password for my original wallet and I downloaded the new GUI wallet and noticed it was locked and was asking for password.

try using the default passphrase "passphrase"

Not sure how this was a "Fair Launch" considering the majority of the population wasn't targeted because of NO COMPILED WINDOWS wallet available for download. If the majority of the population don't know how to compile the windows wallet and the Dev did not provide one why is this FAIR?

Sure the linux wallet was made available for download 10-20 mins after launch, it wasn't even ready on the countdown...no comment from the Dev with that?

Personally I downloaded and compiled the win wallet, had my address but on principle alone stopped mining and won't be doing back, it's my choice to do so.

And the Dev being a masternode and keeping 2/12...well do the math on that percentage he is pocketing from a failed 'FAIR' launch.

The Dev is getting some abuse over this, I don't agree with all the crap he is getting but he hasn't spoken up about what went wrong and that says something about integrity.

Good luck to everyone and who knows if this is a shit coin or not. All I know is there is a lot of angry miners out there and I don't blame them. Not FAIR at all. You dev need to learn statistically what fair is.

Only statistically my opinion.

Now back to mining EOT....

This was one of the most fair launches I think I could have imagined. An entire slack full of people who had no idea where to obtain a wallet until the last second. Then the wallet was released, compiled, for both Linux and with Docker instructions for Windows users in the seconds after the go-live.

This launch was fair, it gave every enterprising individual who REALLY wanted to mine a chance to earn that early access privilege. If you couldn't get the wallet working, it was your fault.

This launch required that people work for it and as we saw tonight, more people would rather insult the dev and call them a faggot :eyeroll: because they didn't get spoonfed. The miners not getting in on the mining right now simply didn't have the drive to get in or didn't have the aptitude to make it work. I'm not the smartest guy around but I know when I see a rabid collection of shitty people and damn they came out tonight.

Did you read any of this thread?  Or are you hoping you will find buyers for your ASIC hash mining results?

I skipped the last 7-8 pages because I've been in the slack watching the freakout occur.

I have about 7 mining rigs, all GPU based. No ASICs and as you can see from my forum account I haven't been around too long.

It's hilarious watching this however, we're mining fucking cryptocurrency with our custom built rigs and people are literally shitting their pants over it not being spoon-fed to them. This is the bleeding edge of tech. Figure it the fuck out or go cut hair or something.
