Re: Let's Keep It Crypto

Governments and banks want different blockchains. Blockchains that'd make Orwell cry in a corner. Sure we'll get government issues cryptocurrencies: CRYPTOFIAT. All your transactions will be traced, monitored and taxed automatically.

Of course, they'll make exceptions for certain individuals...

yeah this is what scares me too. "fedcoin" will replace the fiat currency and they will track your purchases and keep people in their place. fortunately i think there's ways to make sure the gov doesn't know what you buy and such

ETH is always a good bet, esp now that the price has dropped. monero is a very good long term investment, the team is always improving the privacy of the coin. NANO is a new project that seems really promising, already in the top 25 or so

NEO, Zilliqa, NEX and NEXO are my favourite picks. I've also been looking into Grain and DeepOnion, though apparently DeepOnion has some serious issues likely to arise soon since it uses the tor network.

what issues do you seeing coming about with DeepOnion? curious as im invested in ONION myself.

my opinion is crypto is here to stay. the only way it will die is if a new better way of paying is introduced and takes over, kind of like how crypto is slowly doing to fiat. yet even fiat still has a place in today's world, so who knows if even it will die  Tongue

yeah, with the public ledger and how big bitcoin is right now its definitely not private. i think NANO definitely has a good chance to make itself the coin fr fast zero fee transactions, i've even heard they are trying to make it easy to do microtransactions.

Re: How mighty NaNo (XRB) has fallen?

NANO has been very volatile in terms of its BTC value for the last 4 months or more that I've followed it. The BitGrail hack/scam situation was pretty bad for NANO, as well as myself who had funds on Bitgrail at the time. The NANO team doesn't seem to care about the stolen funds and has decided to put it behind them and have all the blame and solutions be someone elses problem.

AFAIK, it wasnt the team's problem. the way i and many others saw it wass that Bitgrail was locking funds unnecessarily and the owner was being a tool and being dishonest with the nano team and the community. the NANO team made a response to it in a medium post. i've been following the devteam for quite some time and they have shown only integrity

im going for DeepOnion. with the way things are with mass survailance, privacy is becoming more important online. the price dropped from something like $15 down to $3, but it's a solid project i think, and has a growing community. get some while its cheap!  Smiley

The DeepOnion currency has a great airdrop system and bounty rewards, as well as weekly competitions and plenty of giveaways.

Check it out:

its only a matter of time as bitcoin dominance decreases, it's becoming outdated tech anyways and ethereum is the foundation for so many other altcoins. so yes altcoins are definitely the future of crypto though they might not be called "altcoins" for much longer, at least not ethereum.  Grin

Re: Privacy coins list - which one is the best ??
by

sentiment in here says monero is the best privacy coin and i would agree. the team adds more and more security and privacy features to the coin as time goes on, and they're even working on a private browser called kovri, kinda like tor

i've also come across deeponion (by accident, actually) and it looks like it has a solid team as well. what convinced me to get some was their q&a by themonkii, watched a couple and just felt like it was legit.

came to look at this thread, reading all these recent posts about how xaurum is doing an airdrop. but turns out they aren't. i've never heard of this coin, what the hell is going on today?! lol, must just be a frenzy in order to get free money. Careful out there, friends. from what i know, DeepOnion has airdrops and it seems legit (as you can maybe tell, i'm trying to become eligible Grin)

isn't it great? we're finally seeing adoption of crypto for business. i think it's pretty significant that the ceo of starbucks said bitcoin wouldn't be accepted there, because he didn't ever believe in its potential for payments. Raiblocks has been gaining steam for payments, recently headphones .com started accepting payments in XRB. i've also seen some websites move away from BTC and accept only ETH or LTC.

people want to pay with crypto, i think XRB Raiblocks (or Nano?) will be a clear winner in this regard. like to pay on amazon or some other online store.

OP add xrb and xem because it's get really high in 2017 and they have also future plan for their coins so the price is still growing.

yeah i agree about xrb. they have a solid working product for fast and feeless crypto, might become the bitcoin that never really was, using it for everyday transactions

Re: What You Think Of DeepOnion?

It sounds like a great project with an active team. I watched the recent live q&a with themonkii and was convinced to buy. I like Monero and this seems like a pretty good alternative.
