I need to send money to someone in China but the local banks keep rejecting my wire transfer every 2 days asking for more and more forms and it's been a week of form filing and my work is getting delayed. I tried Western Union and they said it is not possible to send it from any of their offices in India but I can receive.
Somebody I know suggested that I buy Bitcoins and then sell it immediately to anyone who can send WU. I did some calculations and this turns out to be very expensive. First of all most sellers are charging a markup of 10-15% for buying it. Then when I sell it, again I will sell it at a bigger loss just to get the correct amount of USD.
Anyone with reputation able to receive NEFT or Cash and then arrange for a WU of $1000 to be sent from abroad?

To anyone from the U.S. who has had experience shipping to India, is there anything I should know?

If you are looking for hardware wallet, IMHO, Trezor is best. I got it using expressed shipping, and there was no extra charges in customs or tax etc.
How did you get it without duty? Did it come through the post office?
