You never found a solution to the Front fans with only 2 front (on the L4000 model) to hold the Power buttons + closing / holding the front fans for all of the 3 fans?

What is the payout Threshold? I though it was 100 ETN (like on asiapool.electroneum.com), but I'm at 100.something ETN, still no payout.

So, what's the threshold of the payout?  Thanks !

**** EDIT ****

I got my Payout (103 ETN).

I'm now at 421 ETN mined yet Smiley  Hope I don't do that for nothing hehe.   I was previously just mining for NiceHash (selling my hashing power).  My first time at directly mining for my own wallet !

@R0mi :  Please put some pictures of your assembling job, and all your L4500/4000 cases stacked Smiley  I only have 1, and since the mining is barely profitable now (if you count the $$$ for the GPUs, mobo, PSU, etc.), i won't be adding more L4500 or 4000 for a while Sad(

Sure, I'll link to some pictures this weekend.

Where is our pics Smiley ? Cheesy

Re: Any word on amd vega hash rates?

On NiceHashMinerLegacy, my VEGA only get 1.2kH/s on CryptoNight (sgminer and Claymore Cryptonote 10.2), even after tweaking in Wattman. Also, my PC crash and reboot a lot since I have the VEGA, never did before when I had my NVIDIA GTX1060.  I use the Beta Blockchain driver.

With Nicehash, it seems to always choose DaggerLbry (give 0.4495 mBTC/day) while the 2 CryptoNight (if forced) only gives 0.33 to 0.39 mBTC/day).

I suppose that choosing the best Monero Pool + using XMR-Stack-AMD will give a better payout than that ??

With the WattMan tweaks (-30, 900Memomy, -25%, fan at 3500RPM), I get 310W at the wall mining with a single Vega64 + a Ryzen 1700 oc to 3.65Ghz.  The Idle = 90-95W.  If I do not mine with the Ryzen, it drops to 270W at the wall mining only with the Vega64.

This thing is pretty unstable, I hope that it will get better stability eventually.

Questions for the pros :

1. Where do you guys get the XMR-Stack-AMD compiled ?  There seem to be lots of forks, which one is the best?
2. What is the best Monero Pool ?
3. What is the Wallet you use for Monero ?  Is mining into an Exchange address is OK?
4. I want to monetize the mining until the ROI is attained, so I Plan to sell the coins weekly/monthly, is this good strategy?

Thanks !

Where do you guy have your Monero wallet to mine with XMR?  wich one you use?  Trezor or Ledger Nano doesn't seem to support it (?).  I'm use to mining with the NiceHashMinerLegacy, but I think it is more profitable mining the Monero with XMR directly to a pool ? (Also, what pool you all use?)  I have my Vega 64 Air waiting for my new PSU to arrive (long wait of 8 days...).  Hoping to get those answer before Smiley

Also, what you guys think about the AlphaCool AIO kit for Vega?  There is also the the EKWB waterblock, but it's more complex to do for me (never did watercooling!) I might convert it to Water if there is any Hashrate benefits.

Any ETA on adding the 2 Factor authentification ? I feel that it's not secure enough for me to use without that.

Ok, a got a bug.  The display when dual Mining is not on a single line, so it try to do a cariage return and type the "total" for each card on 2nd line.  we just can't read the total.

That brings me to my second request,  please add a "Total" on the status bar that will calculate the total of all the cards and dual mining software total in the rig.

Thanks.

@TeamWinMiner : do you have 2FA authentication?? if not, not secured enough for me.

other suggestions:

1. update the website with a Rig Stats where we can see details (usage, temperature, fan rpm)
2. have a lot more details on what algo was mined with profitability, estimated daily/weekly/monthly earnings.
3. Auto cash-out (daily/weekly/monthly) *if minimum reached.
4. have a good android App to control everything and have stats
5. have API for others to develop 3rd party tools that talks to the service.

Its unclear how the Vega rx series could be so much faster than frontier.

Supposedly, when the RX VEGA 56/64 will hit the market, AMD will release an updated Driver that will make the Frontier Edition on Par with the 56 or 64 (don't know if 56 or 64), so it is capable, but not optimized yet.

@Rich looks great!  I double-side taped the IO ports too, but on the right.  It's not super nice, but the Door is now close 100% of the time.  Only thing that would be awesome, is a big metal Mesh fanguard large enough for the whole hole left by the 3 fan casing + integrating the IO ports in that, and than, only mount the Fans to that new front and mount that New front to the Drop-In braket behind in 4 corners.  That will look more "built for the case", specially on the L4000 that doesn't have a 3rd fan shroud...

I finally went to install my L4000 case in a client's Server room, it's so quiet in the home now, i didn't remember how quiet it was Prior to have a miner in the living room ! :O

Something like that :  http://take.ms/d7O38

The sizing are probably wrong, it is just to give an idea Smiley  That would be nice, mounting the 3 fans to that plate + the IO ports (i add it in red on the right).  Everything could be screwed to that plate, and then the plate screw in the drop-in bracket, on the normally fan holder.

If you need a ginny pig to test it out on a L4000, I'm your guy hehe

Thanks Rich.

Yesterday night, i did cable management a little And i also reverse the back fan so the air is sucked in the case, then I added 2 x 120mm USB fan Just stick to the 3 x blower-type cards i had. Finally i removed the filter+the plastic shroud at the front And i left the front closed and locked.  Ran That all night long and now gets those temps (i think its fine) : 65/63/52/64c

PS. I should have bought 3 non-blower since they run 10C+ lower!

Now, i feel it is safe to go install my 4U server at a serverroom That got A/C and is secured.  The wife will be more happy to not ear those fans anymore Smiley

Pics (i have a L4000): http://Goo. Gl/photos/nuvTUS9yocMC9rL4A

Remove the space in url, it gets flag as suspicious!

I've verified that 38mm thick fans will mount to the frame (via some extra black plastic fan tabs).

Here's a video: http://www.spotswoodcomputercases.com/images/VID_20170728_160118.mp4

How much to get the fan tabs? Or any way I can do them myself? What fans that fit in the front is the best airflow output?

Getting 70/70/59/70 Celsius on my 4 x 1070 (3 hottest are blower style) when i close the front With the key. Leaving it open i have 67/66/51/64, but server will be moved to a facilty requiring to be secured.

Hi, newbie here.  I'm trying to mine ChainCoin, but I only found the sgminer and it seems it doesn't like my 3 x 1070 GTX and crap out an error when I tried mining ChainCoin with it.  I see that you seem to say to use ccminer?

Yeah, make sure to update your NVidia drivers to the latest version and remove all overlcocking. Get ccminer alexis78 and get it up and running. Once its running, only increase the core clock in steps of +10 until it gets unstable.

I took that version.  Is this good?  I'm using it now on the pool.  also, I got hashrate of 36MH/s per card (I suppose?)  I have 3 x GTX 1070.
http://github.com/KlausT/ccminer/releases

I see that the accepted shares are at 99.55% on every share, but when I started, it was at 100%, is this good too?

Also, big newbie question, I use to mine only using the NiceHashMiner that was paying every day in BTC and I could then withdraw from the NH wallet.   Now, I created a CHC Wallet using the wallet I downloaded from the chaincoin.org web site.   It's my first time mining in a pool, so how does it work for the payout? I suppose at some point my payout are sent to my CHC wallet ? (what are the fees?).    If I want to exchange my CHC for some BTC later on, or just sell them for USD$, I need proceed how? Smiley   So much newb quesitons.  i just want to payback my rig first as fast as I can (I took a small loan and still have 2k$ to payback on it).
