Re: [ANN] [ETC] Ethereum Classic: Immutable Smart Contracts

Can't read anywher about the Dapps that should be produced on the ETC chain?

All I see is promises about long term bulltrend and so on, and the Etherum Classic trust fund of Barry, will be a $150 million dollar investment fund. Barry have previous success in a BTC investment fund, so ETC could definetly enjoy this and it could be a game changer.

However, the price didn't pump because of this news.

Chandler Guo and Barry Sillbert sure do have something they are working on that they have not put on twitter. So for anyone reading this, Yes, I do recomend buying ETC! It will probably go to a new ATH soon this year, maybe in a few months, quote me if I Am wrong.

ETC have all the advantages infront of ETH. Listed by many exchanges, liked by the guys in china, trading volume stable, network hashrate growing everyday (more people switch over to mine ETC as its more profitable), investment trust fund etc...

I can just qoute myself on this. We made it. Not happy yet tho, I am greedy and need more profits.

What do you think of this image http://prnt.sc/crq1fw

Is the ETH and ETC chart similiar to each other? What is your thoughts? Can ETC see 0.0063 and break a new ATH again?

I have around $X.XXX to invest again, in ETC. Should I do it now, or wait till price drops below 0.00185..or what? will ETC also do another fork? What would you do?

Anyone who want to share som thoughts on these charts?

If lets say I want to invest $1000 in a hardware equipment for ETC mining, where do I start, and how much profit can I make daily, with this current hashrate and price etc? I am getting electricity on a fair price here. And on the other side, I am not so technical about setting up the equipments. Are there tutorials for it?

On the other note, I really belive in ETC and the immutable deal around it. We can easily reach parity with ETH in the nearby future, like 1-3 months. Maybe we dont hit $10, but ETH might fall and we might get up to $7 per ETC. What do you think?

It's funny how little the price went up last year when we heard people implementing bitcoin in their stores, setting up new atms etc, and none of that made the price to blow up, like the last smal rally we have in late may this year.

Is you an insider? Otherwise I call bullshit on this.

I definitely think the price will continue upwards though

I dont have anything to sell you, call this bullshit or whatever. Go ahead and waste more of your time reading people saying it will go up or down, in the end of the day, none of us could make the price rise or fall, it's up to China.

Let's make this clear once and for all. There are people here who know what they are doing by doing TA and so on, and they can sometimes predict the right outcome for the price for bitcoin. But most of you just drop silly comments and make stupid threads about how we are going to be dumping and dumping because we can't for example hit $600 so we got to get back to low $500 or high $400 etc.

Anyone that knows what they are doing, know that it's China who is in control of the price. Chinese investors and miners are manipulating the price to make the most profit. We are all small players in the game, some of us profit, some of us lose, just like the stock market.

You maybe think that this thread is silly, but I can gurantuee that the most silly thing is people that thinks we are not going to higher price levels because of the halving and that there is no buy orders etc on some exchanges. If China want to, we will see $1000. I would be happy with anything above $800-900 to be honest, but the more, the better. Grab some coins if you can, at your own risk. And hold, don't be a cool guy trying to daytrade but ending up losing the big profit for some small amount.

And after bitcoin, China will take on ETH. I know this because i've been in contact with a few chinese people that are in the market and that's how most people look at it. Litecoin is to small, there is more money in Etherum than Litecoin, and for that reason we will see a new ATH in ETH as well, around/after halving in July. My guess is around $50 for each eth, which is very realistic based on the fact that Litecoin went up to $40 etc when bitcoin was strong.

Don't know how much 40K Yuan is, but hey.  You made a profit, right?

I fucking bought Lisk RIGHT before this gigantic spike in bitcoin, now I'm a retard bagholder hoping Lisk will rebound.  Oh well, at least I didn't bet all that much.  Still, I hear you OP.  But Jhanzo is right, that's the way it is in markets where you really don't know what's going to happen.  Sometimes you win, sometimes you get fried like a fishstick.

How much lisk did you buy?

As bitcoin continue to rise, so will etherum. I am thinking that we will see eth sell at $17-25 around July.

How and why do I think like this, well it's because investors know that they can take profit from btc, and they know that newcomers think of a way to make a quick buck, in example, eth or nowadays, lsk. But ETH is more safe than lsk because ETH have been here for a longer period of time and it's currently stable. So they will pump ETH aswell.

Just follow the market they say.

$10 000 per bitcoin? It would be very nice, but I don't see that happening anytime soon...I am sorry.

Heck, I would be happy even with $1000 per bitcoin soon, around this halving.

What exchanges do you like to trade and buy bitcoins on, and check the prices etc?

Because there is a few dollars difference between most of the exchanges. So I am not sure which one to follow.

Re: Can bitcoin rise up to 800$ this year ?
by
goldsun
on 07/05/2016, 12:48:10 UTC
Yes ofcourse it can rise up to $800 this year. My predictions may be a little low compared to other, but I would be pretty satisfied with a rise up to $800-1200 this year.

I am sure this will happen around halving, and not months after halving. Why? Simply because it's around halving everyone want to jump on the train. No one awnts to jump on the train when it have passed many stations.

Lets just hope we see the moon for bitcoin price soon.

I don't think $800 can be achieved in this year, as price rise is slow, its taking too long even to reach $500 so I think we need to wait long to see that price.

Why do you think it will take more than this year to reach that amount? You know that the miners must be profitable right? And they wont be profitable when their production fall in half. So in order to be profitable, they must manipulate the market, and yes, when big miners or investors go hand in hand, they can easily manipulate the market. Just look at the chineese exchange..

The price will rise around the halving time because miners will get less coins mined per day, and in order to still be profitable and not only do +- $0/day, they will need to manipulate the market to their favour.

This is good for us who even hold a few bitcoins or more, but less good for people who want to invest in bitcoin and jump on the train in a late stage. But who cares, most of us here want to make money, and some do, and some lose, thats the nature of the game.

I can't imagine all those who bought for $800-1000/btc...they must feel like losers, but cheer up, we will get back to new heights soon. And if you cant make profit, I am sure your losses will be much smaller.

I have opened my eyes for ethereum.

I just dont know where to buy. Should I buy BTC and then send them to poloniex, and then trade the btc to eth? Can I then trade it back to USD on that exchange?

Let me know of any good wallet for this please. Cheers.
