Why do you think so? I'm seeing alts and ICO token stronger day after day.

The future belongs to blockchain based fintech ICOs. They are disrupting niche after niche.

But Hitbtc and Cryptopia made many changes and improvements in last 3 months, so I'm using actively them again. I'm still avoiding coinexchange.

Everyone who purchase the altcoin at higher price are crying now ,Is altcoin become too much risky ?

I think the answer is No. Now alt prices are low and there are many good project to buy by bargain.
Also, there are great ICO's around and ETH is relatively cheap. It's worth investing.

Re: Which ICO do you consider as the most promising for the year?

You could check Sponsy, the project I'm currently supporting.
While other ICOs are usually copying something from before, Sponsy is disrupting completely new sector for blockchain technology.

Why should we look at graphics. The rise now is much more steady and slow than the January boom. For me it's like natural and people are much more confident now.

I think it will even continue in next few weeks!

Re: So mining is apparently only profitable if btc is over $8600

Morgan Stanley say bitcoin mining only profitable above 8600 dollars. I'm not sure this is correct though, especially if future valuations come anywhere close to fruition.

This is not correct.
You must calculate your Mining profitability by considering how much are you paying for the hardware, electricity, cooling, your time and many more factors. But by all meanings, it's cheaper than $8600 to mine a Bitcoin. At least in my country.

Re: HPB

What are peoples thoughts on HPB? could it be the next EOS? whats your market cap prediction? any info on HPB would be great as well

HPB is unique. It solves a real world problem. If blockchain continues to grow in use, so will HPB exponentially.

Don't forget about HPB's partner, BTO. BTO is a sleeping giant and only avilable on smaller exchanges.

Indeed High Performance Blockchain (HPB) is unique and Credits are their closest competition on the speed line. I own both tokens and I'm waiting to see who will win the tx/s race.

My hopes are that HPB will pass the 0.001BTC range very soon as they are doing great.

Bitcoin Cash will lose it, despite the Bitmine attempts to make it obligatory payment method for their ASICS.

BCH is just the way some rich people to become richer. It will never achieve a mass adoption.

It was about time!

They are supporting just few coins for a very long time. If they open themselves to the token business, they will multiply their clients within few months for sure.

Don't fool yourself.

Even with Lightning Network Daemon (LND), coins Via can't achieve mass adoption and move over Bitcoin. My prediction is that Via will lurking around $1.5-$3 in next year.

I'n not a fan of BCH, but if I need to choose between those two, BCH will win the race for sure.
There is too much pressure over ETH from ICO's who wants to cashout their tokens.

Re: How to know if a coin is overvalued?

How do I know if some altcoin is overvalued. Can currencies be more valued than platforms than tokens? Are they valued after how much they are used in real life?

Well, I personally find for overvalued coins and tokens without a real products. Like Cardano and Tron - a simple token valued for billions.

If you are looking for a good investments, search for projects with at least MVP.

Re: How to earn PASSIVE INCOME with MASTERNODES

For me, masternodes are one of the riskiest stuff you could do in cryptocurrencies.

Usually, to own a masternode, you must buy a vast amount of unknown alts and cross fingers for a good future prices. Almost every good ICO will bring you a higher ROI for just a fraction of the risk!

EOS had a nice run because of the fork but huge warning, inevitable dump coming.

It's inevitable after every fork of a popular coin.
But it will recover eventually. Maybe in a very short term, because now the whole market is mooning.
My plan is to dump my EOS as the first signs of the bid dump and buy it a profit on the bottom price.

11B is still enormous amount of money - the BCH cap.
I never liked the fork/project, but it's supported by Bitmine and other big players.

I don't believe in BCH, but I'm holding few for just in case Smiley

Re: Have you used ICO investment pools?

I'm quite new to crypto and would like to know if you recommend ICO investment pools?

I didn't and I don't have any plans to do it.

I can't be sure of those pools integrity. Because everything in /semi/-anonymous around, those pools could be easily bribed to invest their funds into bad/scam projects.

In general, I like it. Especially the big NEO share.
The only coin I don't like is WAVEs because its almost abandoned platform. You could change it with ETH.

Re: What's going on with XVG today?

According to Cryptowat.ch Verge has spiked over 30% today.

Anyone know what's up with XVG?

An exchange hack/bug?

Something that has somehow managed to evade my radar as I can't find any juicy news about XVG.

Verge suffered from a 51% attack, somebody managed to steal millions of coins and the price spiked?!

I don't know too... IMO people are brainless. I dropped my Verge's and I don't have any plans to continue with those jokers. The 51% was due code error.

Re: ICO with proven business or ICO that start from zero? You pick!
by
gon
on 07/04/2018, 14:14:33 UTC
Hello fellow community members,

Recently I saw lots of people announcing new altcoins. They're planning to launch ICO soon. But I was wondering if we should invest in ICO with proven business which will reduce the risk of our investment or go big with ICO project that we believe in but it starts from zero?

The trend of ICO is everywhere and lots of SCAMS is happening. Therefore, viewing ICO from risk management perspective is also important. What do you guys think?

"Price is what you pay. Value is what you get." - Warren Buffett

I prefer projects starting from zero.
Scams are more often there but also the chances for quick rise and getting x5-x10 are much bigger than investing in already developed business.
