Hello, this is quite an amazing project. I think it would work perfectly for newbies like me who are new to this crypto thing and not sure what coins to invest in as its the wild west out there.

Quick question though, once I buy the tokens does that mean they are placeholders for the other cryptocurrencies you purchase? Does HADE token represent a portfolio of cryptos? Please help me to understand.

[ANN][ICO]NEXT.exchange :The leading decentralized cryptocurrency stock exchange
by

NEXT.Exchange is a fintech startup that seeks to provide a decentralized platform that fulfills this market niche.
NEXT.Exchange uses ERC20 technology to tokenize digital assets like cryptocurrencies and ICO tokens allowing individuals to exchange them in their tokenized form. It serves two main purposes. First, it provides a platform where businesses and startups can find access to alternative financing. Second, investors have a platform where they have access to tokenized cryptocurrency securities that gives them more value using the NEXT token.
The platform has a myriad of features that provide cryptocurrency traders with the tools they need to make money in the market. They include a UX design, intuitive navigation, an interactive social platform for the community on Facebook or Telegram, high-speed trading, copy trading, smart analytics and intuitive prediction. Users can benefit from crypto pool trading where the top 30 cryptocurrencies are pooled into one security allowing the diversification of the cryptocurrencies, community trading where users can trade smart contracts and crypto mining pools to generate additional profits for savvy investors.

With the increasing number of ICOs and cryptocurrencies, it is safer for investors to use platforms like the NEXT.Exchange to convert them into digital assets that they can invest in. This allows the distribution of risk, reducing the likelihood of catastrophic losses. Additionally, it allows investors to invest smaller sums of money when the assets are tokenized. By using NEXT tokens, users can reduce commissions while taking advantage of the NEXT.Exchange features. This gives a real-world value to digital assets through the platform. These shares can be traded with others increasing the liquidity or bundled together to distribute risk.

Sellers who want to market their ICOs or cryptocurrencies will have assessed to a wide range of technical and marketing tools. They can even use the platform to launch their ICOs without the need for additional coding. Coupled with the access to willing investors, this is a prime opportunity for any startups. Users get additional benefits like airdrops after successfully referring others to the NEXT.Exchange or discounts on shares from ICOs launched on the NEXT platform.
Interested parties who want to join the platform can obtain NEXT tokens during the upcoming ICO slated to start on November 20th, this year. Since it is based on the Ethereum blockchain, the NEXT.Exchange will be decentralized, secure and have the capacity to handle high volume transactions with ease.

The number of NEXT tokens will be capped at 120,000,000. Before they run out, ensure you become a part of this revolution in the cryptocurrency industry. Any enthusiasts who would like to gain additional benefits can participate in the Pre-ICO where contributors will get a 20 percent bonus. This will end on November 19th, just before the launch of the main ICO. Any of the tokens allocated for the Pre-ICO that will not be sold will be added to the cumulative amount for the ICO. The exchange rate during the ICO will be 1000 NEXT = 1 ETH. This is barring any discounts and notices. You can participate in the Pre-ICO and the main ICO by following the instructions at https://next.exchange

Altcoins are only good for trading, buy low and sell high. Only top altcoins are worth keeping in your portfolio for the long run.

Bitcoin without a doubt, then a few ETH for the long term. Other viable options i would consider are Waves, OMG, and Ripple to complete my top 5

The scammers have become more than those genuinely rooting for the community and its hard to see why skepticism is on the rise. This was always bound to happen and its not going to stop any time soon.

Re: How to spot an ICO SCAM
by
gonzalo10
on 19/10/2017, 08:32:48 UTC
Hi guys, I want to share with you my simple methodology (beta) of spotting ICO scams.

The methodology

There are criteria with various risk points. Summarize all the points of the criteria that the ICO meets to get total score. Total score represents a risk grade on which you can lean to take a risk or not.

Scam points and criteria:
1 point: minor suspicions (for each)
3 points: anon devs; no code snippets, videos, or beta; rushing
5 points: unrealistic goals; fuzzy whitepaper; self-mod topic
10 points: bought account; no escrow

Risk and total score:
low (0-5)
medium (6-10)
high (11-15)
very high (16-20)
extremely high (21 and more)

Example

Let's imagine there's an ongoing ICO of Supercoinxxx in which you want to invest some money.

The topic is self-mod (5 points) with devs that have unrealistic goals (5 points) like creating a decentralized stock market in 2-3 month and a fuzzy whitepaper (5 points) with no technical details. Also you found two minor suspicions (2 points) based on your experience. Which gives 17 points in total. Based on that score you conclude that risk is very high and skipping this ICO.

Updated: added "no escrow" criteria.

Very good list, Also check out for those that have huge number of contributors but little amounts bordering on 0 amounts just to pump their ICOs.

Re: Brave vs Chrome
by

Brave is a good browser although still a bit buggy comparing to Chrome. The capability to use TOR for private browsing is cool but may not go down very well in enterprise environment. It will be really challenging for Brave to match the popularity of Chrome, but given all the blockchain related capability and special use case, Brave certainly will get very popular among certain audience.

My exact thoughts. I found it a bit heavy and UI not quite appealing. Got a long way before becoming a popular browser and being adopted outside the crypto community.

Re: What Will happen if all bitcoin already mined ?
by

There are only 21 million total bitcoins that can be mined, what will happen if all bitcoin is already mined?
According to research if bitcoin reach its limit, it will be disappear but it doesn't happen already so don't worry. I think devs will solve the problem to extend.

Disappear to where? What research? simply state that this is your uninformed opinion. For starters, the blockchain will still be there so bitcoin is not going to disappear. Secondly, only worry of for miners as there will be no more block reward. But they will be sorted as they can still earn through transaction fees. But I think this will require the devs and bitcoin community to make changes on the blockchain. My 2 cents.
