We are better off never knowing who Satoshi is. Knowing who he is will only lead to negative outcomes, as I see it. Whether it be economic/crypto hysteria, undue influence over the future of the project, or other consequences. I don't think he ever wanted to be truly found, as far as his real identity is concerned.

Is the amount in your wallet correct? Meaning you are only short the 1000 PND that you sent, but the block explorer looks funky?

If so, the difference has to do with how change is made. I had this same question a while back.

Think of your main address as a parent account, then you have child accounts under it which are a result of receiving funds to your account. When you make a payment, the total is taken from these various accounts and then you are refunded the difference. That explanation is probably terrible, so maybe this will make more sense in an example:

You receive $20 from your employer and decide to buy a $2 soda. You only have your $20, so the merchant is going to "break" your $20 and refund you the difference.

You sent $20
Merchant kept $2
You received $18

The same would have happened with your account. To complete the 1000 PND transfer:

You sent 1,101,722.5580415 PND. This is what was removed from the account to complete the transaction.

You received 1,100,722.5580415 PND in return, as "change"

If you open your Pandabank and go to the console, type in "listaddresgroupings" and hit enter. You'll see that there are lots of addresses that make up your account - and I bet you see this one: PA1XNQFRzDsUwTDYkdRCa4SyQKXbw3cGzn. Which is where your change went. This is what I meant by calling it a child account.

It is recommended to join these channels to stay up-to-date on Pandacoin news  . Eventually the news trickles here but it is down the chain.

Sending coins to Cryptopia requires 200 confirmations, that is on their end unfortunately and there isn't anything that we can do about it. Yobit and the wallets do not have this high of a confirmation requirement, so sending coins out of your Cryptopia wallet will happen much faster than receiving them in this wallet.

It's not a very secretive group here. There is some potential down the road information that isn't being discussed publicly, but it's hardly anything to report on as they are the beginnings of discussions.

Further, what the team works on is decided in the voting booth. To that effect, everything is out in the open. I'd argue that PND is one of the most "open to the public" coins around for these reasons. The entire team is available in the Slack, Discord and Telegram channels and you have the ability to ask questions directly.

If you have questions, please ask them. Don't keep them inside.

The weak amounts and large gaps are gone. As I said a few days ago, the Cryptopia event was an anomaly brought on by the closing of the LTC and DOGE markets. The majority of volume for PND at the moment is and has been conducted on Cryptopia. Without these markets, volume dropped and the price crashed. The PND team had no control over the closing of that market.

PND is now back on Cryptopia, under the BTC market pairing, where the majority of the volume for PND continues. Price has continued to increase on both Cryptopia and Yobit as volume increases and the development team continues their hard work.

Please keep in mind that I am not directly blaming Cryptopia for anything that happened, I am just stating the reasoning. They made a business decision on their behalf that they felt was needed and it affected a lot of coins, not just Pandacoin. We are thankful to be back on their market under the BTC pairing and continue to value the partnership that they provide.

I honestly have no idea what there is to be worried about.

The gains since the beginning of the year are remarkable. And we're only 11 days into the year, where I am located. There are developments going on that are making the currency stronger, more will be revealed on the roadmaps as they come out.

The Cryptopia price swing was an anomaly. The price on Yobit moved to roughly where it is now and Cryptopia now reflects it. The market is stable now, trending upwards yet, which is fantastic for long term investors.
