I also trying to send with armory 0.96 and Bitcoin core 14.1 since two weeks. I used several times the delete all unconfirmed function to resend with higher transaction fees (already reached 500 satoshis/byte) from 2 different wallets and with exception of one time, where I had a double spend transaction, which showed up at blockchain.info, the transactions did not even show up at blockchain.info. How can I find out if the transactions are send correctly to the network? Should it immediately appear at blockchain.info with a fee > 360 satoshis/byte?

Thank you very much for the quick reply and your great work!!! Before I got your reply, I tried something else and used the Option rebuild database and scan new. It finally finished overnight and shows my wallets, great!!! I tried to send some BTC with automatic fee (0.00285), but there are not yet confirmed, neither visible in blockchain.info....
I upgraded from Armory 0.95.1 with Bitcoin Core 0.13.2 to Armory 0.96.0 for Ubuntu/Debian 64-bit with GCC 5.3. because I had two unconfirmed transactions (2 weeks old), which I wanted to clear.
Now, the new version of Armory doesn't finish Scanning Transaction History (1 second left)....I started Bitcoin Core with "bitcoin-qt --disablewallet" manually (this was the only possibility to get it working with Armory 95.1, therefore I just continued to do the same with the new version)

Tranz how exactly will the fork work? Will aged blocks from before the fork have the new rate applied to them, or only blocks with block time after the fork?
All blocks eligible for stake, will receive the new maturity time and reward at time of fork.
Does this mean the hard-fork resets all coin age to zero for stake weight and maturity?
It means all inputs will be staking using the new rules after the hard fork.

My biggest concern: Coin creation rate vs. Market Demand example-Pennies/CENT
If it stakes too high or too often people are going to make regular profit takings and drive the value down in a tragic "CENT death-spiral." Unfortunately once the average alt-holder makes ROI they won't care if the coin holds value, they'll just keep dumping.

In my Opinion, a high stake would lead to a greater price stability, if the investors can count on future support of the coin (mainly acive Dev and community and services). There are more positive examples (HBN, PHS, TEK, NVC...even DMD if its going to work one of these days) than negative.
Therefore I would vote for a stake somewhere in the 50% - 100% range. But I would prefer to leave the stake constant only reduced by increasing diff, because there are quite some POS coins now and in the future, and most investors don't have the time, or want to have the hassle with checking, which is the right moment to invest/stake.
Better when it is known that CAPs are a coin with a more constant high stake. I would prefer to start with the higher stake and leave it as it is to remain long term attractiveness, otherwise investors will leave if higher stake coins advance in the future. Cap supply in terms of total quantity will not be so important, because it will always compete with other coins, which also increase the overall cryptocoin money supply.

I don't find the practice very nice to potentially promise a stake to jr. members if "enough energy was spend" and afterwards almost only members were accepted. But its their decision to exclude whoever they want - the only question is if it is clever to do so.
I guess the stakes are finally distributed, therefore there is no further reason to support this coin, if you are not participating with any reward.

Das Projekt, an dem ich arbeite, soll generell einsetzbar sein, also nicht nur für mich. Ich suche erfahrene Tester.
Tut mir leid, hatte dich falsch verstanden. Mein Live-Stick enthält nur ein Offline Armory mit meinem Cold Wallet. Die Offline gezeichneten Transaktionen übernehme ich dann mit einem anderen Stick auf den Online Rechner. Also übliche Vorgehensweise, die auch mehrfach gut dokumentiert im Netz zu finden ist.
Eine Live CD mit Online Armory scheint mir wie du schon schreibst schwierig, aber ich würde mir dazu das Heise Projekt zum ct Bankix ansehen, da gibt es ein Konzept zum Update der Daten vor Aktivierung des Schreibschutzes bzw. dem Finalisieren der CD. Das kannst du beispielsweise jeden Monat verwenden (lässt sich zurücksetzen, so dass man nicht mit der Konfiguration von vorne beginnen muss), damit man nur den jeweils aktuellsten Teil der Blockchain herunterladen muss, wobei dann ein Stick mit Schreibschutz nat. sinnvoller wäre.
Aber wenn du diesbezüglich an schon an einem eigenen Projekt tätig bist, bist du da bestimmt schon deutlich besser informiert als ich, obige Hinweise sind dann wohl eher für andere Mitleser brauchbar.
Dein Projekt würde mich tatsächlich sehr interessieren!

Neben den vorher genannten Vorteilen: Ab der 1. Bestätigung Sicherheit. Der Händler bekommt kein Falschgeld angedreht und hat auch keine Rückbuchungsgefahr.
Ausserdem bekommt er gegenüber Kredit/EC Zahlung echtes Geld und kein Giralgeld. OK ich weiss, die allgemeine Konditionierung sorgt dafür, dass die Leute Giralgeld (IOU) gegenüber richtigem Geld bevorzugen. Selbst wenn man ihnen zeigt, dass diese IOU niemals einlösbar sind.
O tut mir leid, ich hab vergesssen zusagen das ich in einer WG bin und ich da die WGvom Betrieb ist keinen Strom zahlen muss.

Naja, für 'ne Android App bedarf es eigentlich keinerlei technischen Wissens und auf senden/empfangen tippen und 'n QR-Code abscannen ist sicher anspruchsloser als (pin|tan|mtan|passwort|cvv|verified-by-visa-gedöns|*) einzugeben. Was im Mainstream nach wie vor fehlt sind definitiv die Akzeptanzstellen. Anfang letzten Jahres war ich noch fest davon überzeugt spätestens im Sommer irgendwo mal 'n Kaffee mit BTC bezahlen zu können, aber selbst bis heute gibt es hier in Hamburg nicht einen einzigen Laden wo man das tun könnte.

Das Problem bei PayPal ist eher auf Verkäuferseite. Deshalb sind Bitcoins für Shops ja auch so interessant...kommt der Bargeldzahlung vor Ort gleich.Da es bei Bitcoin ja eine nachzuvollziehende Tranksaktionskette (Blockchain) gibt, wieso "sucht" man nicht nach den "verschwundenen" Bitcoins
und storniert betreffende Transaktionen. In zusammenarbeit mit der Bitcoin-Foundation sollte das doch möglich sein !?Und wo ziehst du eine Grenze beim Stornieren? Dann kommt der nächste und sagt ihm wurden 1000 BTC gestohlen, bitte storniert mir das. Ein Anderer sagt....
Und die "Bitcoin-Foundation" die hat in der Blockchain und in der ganzen Konsens Geschichte auch nichts zu sagen. Wenn dann müssen einfach alle damit einverstanden sein. Kann ja nicht angehen, dass so eine Foundation sich das Recht rausnehgmen könnte irgendwas zu bestimmen.
Es haben sich bereits einmal einige Leute zusammengetan und etwas "bestimmt". Beim Blockchain-Fork damals, bei dem durch einen Programmierfehler (ja, da hat jemand keine Tests geschrieben) die Blockchain gespalten wurde.
Es haben sich einige "selbsternannte Autoritätspersonen" zusammengetan und entschieden wer seine ganzen BTC verliert und wer nicht.

Heute Morgen hatte ich plötzlich keine Bitcoins mehr auf meinem Virwox Konto. Gemäss Verlauf wurden 4.7 Bitcoins auf ein unbekanntes Konto überwiesen. Auch habe ich gesehen, dass sehr viele SLL in BTC umgewandelt wurden und die Kurse alle praktisch am Limit auf der einen Seite waren, wo es Richtigung Bitcoins geht. Nun habe ich aber noch nirgends irgend eine Info gesehen, dass Sie effektiv gehackt wurden. Die Seite blieb auch nach meinem Mail stundenlang noch Online, bis Sie nun endlich im Wartungsmodus ist.
Hat jemand mehr Infos oder die gleiche Erfahrung gemacht?
