Anyone else having issues with Stripe? It just gives me an error message when attempting to make a payment... Which of the alternative payment methods have lower fees?

Better use Paypal since it doesn't have as much issues.  btw, is it possible to lose Karma on Reddit?

I'm planning to buy upvotes but I wonder if 100 upvotes could raise suspicion which could lead to an account ban. Any thoughts on this?

I don't think so.. Well, it depends on the subreddit. 100 upvotes is not unusual in some of them.

Yeah, some subreddits easily have 10,000 active users while some can barely reach 100.

Re: UPCOMING ICO in 2018?
by

My top picks are  Menlo one, WePower, and Eloncity.. Of all the coins/projects, they have the highest potential to shine since they focus on our needs in the inevitable future which are renewable energy (WePower, and Eloncity) and a safe and unbiased place to invest in ICOs (Menlo one).

Re: How to choose the right ICO?

I can say it depends on a lot of factors which include the team, what the project is about(whitepaper) and the roadmap too. But the first thing to consider is the team and their credentials.

I'm 100% with you on that.. The good news is, we might not need to exert too much effort in doing research soon since a decentralized ICO marketplace called Menlo.one finally has its ICO ongoing. How is this related to stopping scams? Its CEO, Matt Nolan, mentioned that they have found an effective way in helping with various issues most investors commonly face (scams) when participating in ICOs. More information on their whitepaper: https://www.menlo.one/

I think Menlo One is one of the best ICOs mentioned. What I like about this project is their user-friendly UI, decentralized system, and it focuses on helping other projects that deserve funding. ICOs are very lucky that a project like Menlo has finally launched. Their whitepaper: https://www.menlo.one

I think investing in ICOs might be a good way to gain some profits or at least break even during these times for crypto. Out of the many ICOs in the list, I found Menlo One, Boltcoin, and Impetus to have good potential since they seem to be legit projects with real/useful products. I was wondering how veteran investors select the best ICO to invest in? Any guidance as to which token among my list has good chances of making money?

This project will be a whole lot better than ICObench or ICOrating imo given that it is a fully decentralized ICO marketplace, which means that it can't be bribed nor manipulated. If you guys can pull this off, it will be massive, at least in my honest opinion.

btw, is your project only for an ICO marketplace or will you be making other decentralized applications as well?

A very good suggestion and reminds peoples that every platform that trying to promote some ICO might not objective in reviews because they are able being paid for the good ratings.

That's the downside of ICO websites like icobench, etc...Luckily, an ICO marketplace called Menlo.one is launching soon wherein reviews are incentivized no matter positive or negative as long as they are valid and are helpful to the community. It seemed impossible at first, but their whitepaper was quite convincing https://www.menlo.one/.

Well, it really depends on the person, but always remember the risks involve always never forget to weight it all. Anyways, I've come across with this website https://www.menlo.one/ they seem to be promising, they'll cover it all for you in looking for a good ICO to invest with. Have anyone looked into this?

In about 100 projects, probably 5 or more of them turn out to be scams or just end up being bad investment choices. Menlo One has an algorithm called "proof of reputation" wherein it compensates people for their attention and communication depending on their reputation and community feedback. I don't know how their point system works exactly, but I'm very excited to see known personalities help us make wise investment decisions based on their honest reviews.

Re: [Paybear] What do you think of this new website?
by

There are few similar projects functioning as gates between crypto and fiat payments for various online stores. I'm sure this service is needed and the adoption of crypto payments will grow.

Yeah, to name a few of them we got Bitpay, ShiftyButton, and Coinbase. Paybear is not the 1st one to offer this kind of service, although it is good to hear this kind of services are being implemented, they are still new in this kind of business.

Speaking of Paybear, can it already be used in actual production environments or live businesses? What I mean is, it might have to run more tests to make sure that it's secure and has minimal to ideally zero bugs.

Crypto trading is promising high profit even we can make profit up to 100% amonth, and no others kind of investment offer this return except crypto trading, that why many more people interesting in to it , and try to make money from it. But become succesfully trader is not easy, should be through long proccess and patient to learn more thing to make better trading strategy. To become expert trading we should be learn about technical and fundamental analysis, and also psychology of trading.

There's no such thing as promising especially since we're dealing with a controversial and unregulated technology here. Trading cryptos is a high risk venture and you should never jump in the water with both feet.

The majority of altcoins are scam. I have no doubt about it.
If you choose not to invest into any altcoin because of that, you just go too far.

It's risky to invest in new altcoins especially if there is not much information about the backgrounds of their respective devs.. I have no reason to doubt Eth and a few other alts though.

I think govts play a big role in terms of crypto adaptation. Once they find a way to regulate these coins, then I bet that business will start using them.

I'm thinking Eth and XRP would be good investment choices for this year.  Although I think that Eth doesn't have much of an upside which isn't really bad.

I think that it's a marketing strategy that aims to gain more public interest. They first would get all participants' emails and then later on send promotion new letters.

Yes, in the Crypto market patiently holding and waiting is the decisive factor for success. So if you buy and hold them for a long time you will be the winner. In future Crypto market will grow strongly, so you peace of mind to hold them.

We're not even sure about the outcome of regulation attempts for cryptos. I would rather do short term trades for now and take advantage of the trend rather than just buying, holding, and hoping.

Is it safe to invest in Bitcoin or is it just a bubble?  Huh Huh
Bitcoin is more safer than Bank because it is more profitable investment but we must wait for minimum one year. But bank is easy to invest in fiat currency and profit also very less compared to Cryptocurrency so majority of the peoples are looking to invest in Cryptocurrency. The current market is totally damaged so these kind of questions are raise in many peoples I know the bitcoin worth it will never failed in crypto market.

@red just because Bitcoin is potentially more profitable doesn't make it safer.
@green you must have seen the future since you've got the time-frame figured out.
@blue Investing in Bitcoin is easier to do than banks since all you need to do is open a wallet.

Re: do you day trade or prefer a long term hold?
by

mid to long-term hodling is 100x less stressful than day-trading. In addition, 1 wrong move in day-trading and it could erase a big chunk of your gains which leads us back to the fact that mid/long term trading is a lot better.
