At which markets do you plan to trade your tokens? Do you have some agreements with someone?

CPU mining is only profitable while using server CPUs. I have 2x AMD Opteron 6276, they are not too exprensive and show 480 h\s each.  You can look at used Intel Xeon to.

I have 2 Opterons 6276. They give me 450 h\s each. Motherboard has 2 PCI slots, so I'm thinking about adding 2 more GPU AMD 7870. So the question if it is possible to mine CPU+GPU at once or I won't have 450 h/s from each opteron as I have now?

The best way is to start from small amount of money. Maybe its better to start from altcoins, they are more risky, but at the same time more profitable. So invest just a little and have a fun with trading. It'll help you to understand if you like it or not.

don't mine directly to Cryptopia...this is the message on their page about direct mining:

WARNING! Please do not mine directly to your Cryptopia addresses, We do not support generated transactions from pools like P2Pool etc.

CPU+GPU mining (xmr-stak)

Hi!
Question for miners who use xmr-stak. Is it possible to mine with CPU and GPU at once (Monero, for example). Developers made new combinated versions for cpu and gpu, but I don't know is it possible to mine with all theese at once (I want to buy few video cards and this unknown detail stops me)

If you are solo mining it will all depend upon how much hashing power you have. Based upon your question I would assume that you have very, very little hashing power and there is a chance that you might never mine a block.

Your best bet is to join a mining pool - then you will be assured of something and will see your accumulated shares.

No, I've joined pool www.electroneum.space and have 860 h/s in cryptonight algorithm. I have the same results on another pools to. So maybe I'm doing smth wrong. And I can't understand what exactly.

Reward for mining
by

Hi!
I've tried to find answers on my questions on the forum, but i wasn't successful.
I'm new in mining so have few questions. How often I'll get reward for mining? Once a day? Yesterday i was mining Electroneum (ETN) for 5 hours, but i didn't get any income on my etn wallet.
And one more: is it possible to mine directly to exchange wallet (on cryptopia exchange)?
Thanks

I'm not very good in algorithms, but I thought that memory-bounded PoW algo means that its using RAM. But Luna testnet uses CPU. Am i wrong?

Remember the CPU also has a memory Smiley. Not as much memory as RAM but it is way faster, and memory latency is what the algorithm takes in consideration.

What is the difference between regular CPU mining and CPU-memory? CPU needs more power?

I think it uses both CPU and Mem, but the old testnet used way more CPU, now its like 40% or so? What do you see

CPU usage grows from 30% to 80% (i5), ram usage stays at same level (ddr4)
