Even when I'm in favor of something I get called a fudder or what not, due to my brutally honest approach and realist attitude.  But I will say this about WC, and dare I sound like I'm actually emotionally vested in a crypto, am actually quite impressed with how this is going.  There's been a literal shitstorm and people are genuinely handling it well.  This should serve as a reality check to a sect of BC community that blatantly hates on whitecoin.   Blackcoin is touted by all of it's community as being extremely resilient and now whitecoin is showing that same resiliency, you can't clone that shit.  This should just solidify that the same silent majority that make BC strong are also vested in WC(as I'm sure in many other coins based off what I've seen in the irc).  Cut the bullshit infighting it just makes the vocal minority look like assholes.

It might just be that I haven't had enough coffee yet but that made me laugh.

I imagine a lot of the high volume is due to day trading which isn't necessarily a bad thing.  High volume is high volume it attracts the casual investor because of the buzz and it attracts even more day traders because they know that the coins moves and they won't have to tie up funds for too long.

The most important part about trading for profit is detaching yourself emotionally, Just work off your numbers and set a realistic amount to trade and how much you want to make on those trades.  If you go in with a safe amount of your holding and decide to sell off a percent of that at say 5% profit and then another chunk at 10% etc you'll be fine.  If you jump in with a large chunk of your holding and believe you will make big money selling it off when it reaches  a certain point you're either going to get burnt waiting or sell out and not be able to get back in at a price you want.

They've been moving both since yesterday, they were looping high to low from yesterday morning until the early evening and when they equalize both got pumped a little and then dumped the same time this morning, BC much less so though.

If you watched the 2 on mintpal the past hour that's what a lot of people are doing.  It's the btc-BC up/down loop but on a quicker lesser scale.

Never was advocating for it or even think it will survive long term just saying the same haters that got burned on not understanding BC are about to do it again on WC.

true but it's been swinging violently all day.  It's much smaller volume and much smaller value and people that messed up on the BC rollercoaster want a second chance but WC is super finnicky with it's blink of an eye 30-40% swings.

Le sigh at buzz word marketing.  "Battle",  two different leagues.  Even if whitecoin does take off and reach BC level success it will always be 4 times the coins, the quarter to the dollar.  No need to force them to compete neither coins gains anything from that.  Worse case scenario whitecoin dies, best case scenario they become the gold and silver of PoS no reason to make anything else of it.

Not to be a downer but your list is off from what I see, unless you're only counting certain coins of course, but you're missing reddcoin which has something like 17k subs and puts it at #4.  Not sure if anything else is missing that's just one I noticed immediately.

You also cant trade a coin in pair when it's not worth it.  It's like going to the store and having to pay a $1 for something that costs 10c because the store owner doesn't have change.  Also to be fair you can't really say that that being listed with LTC instead of BTC was the cause that dropped the value, that trading pair swap is common for a lot of coins, it's more of an effect of the value dropping not it's cause.  The crash you see happen is the coin stabilizing after being forced paired with BTC for too long out of it's actual value range.  Unless something big sweeps in to supported that inflated value the bubble bursts.  Zeit also had loads of other worries like the tomfoolery over at cryptorush.

I can see VTC as a smaller denomination coin as it sitting solidly around that $1 per coin mark, it would actually make a really good trading pair for a lot of exchanges at this point if it can maintain it's stability.  As much as I like reddcoin I don't know if it would necessarily make a good trading pair at this point, just too much in it's infancy still.
