Re: Bitcoin is not dead

This is only the beginning.

It is entirely up to us, not the Winkelvai, not these fake pump and dump investors.

The future of bitcoin relies solely on the community of bitcoin acting as a whole to treat BTC less like a stock and more like the cryptocurrency that it is.

Had to get it off my chest.

I honestly feel all the btc is dead/done threads are an attempt to pick up some cheap coins. Oh well, if it works I'll be right there with you cleaning up.

I just hope bloomberg doesn't try to link this to bitcoin. Based on their bitcoin coverage from last week you never know.

This topic is forgetting one famous quote by Rothschild, "Give me control of a nation's money and I care not who makes it's laws".

Therefore the party who would interfere with bitcoin's development is the existing financial order and not governments themselves.

This just in. U.S. government controlled by financial elites.

Aww, crud. I think the story was cut to cover the explosions at the Boston Marathon.  Huh

Don't worry. Bitcoin will be on 60 minutes after the next bubble.

If you look at the exponential moving averages for one and two year time scales you can see a long term correction between $30 to $20 possible -

This chart is absolutely insane. Why can't bitcoiners be satisfied with 100% gains per year the way satoshi intended  Wink

That would set a limit on how valuable bitcoins could become. Not a good idea for a growing currency.

I think a lot of people just went through these emotional phases the last couple days. Just hope nobody gets stuck at phase 8  Shocked

I think people have been too greedy with bitcoin for months. The price has risen from $12 to $120 since the beginning of the year even before the last leg of the run-up. If bitcoin "only" doubled in price every year it would be a great investment and would actually give the bitcoin economy time to grow.

With the new attention from speculators and big money investors very extreme volatility may be the new norm in bitcoin for a few years.

Bitcoin was on the verge...

We need a decentralized exchange.  We need it now.

A decentralized exchange is an oxymoron but the closest thing to it I can see is localbitcoins.com
