My main computer used for my wallet recently suffered a major issue when a power outage has rendered it unusable. It's probably motherboard and/or power supply. In the meantime, is there a way to get my wallet working on another machine? I installed bitcoin-qt and it's synchronizing with the network but it's probably not going to be the same address.

Been running my Cube on my Rasp Pi for 24 hrs now and hasnt missed a beat! I have to mention that BFGminer as a proxy is faaaaaarrrrrr better than the Proxy from Slush's, it seams to use maybe only 1/10 the CPU and gives a much more stable gh.
If any one wants Pi setup details for BFGminer let me know and i will make a post describing my steps.

Quick update....nailed it! yey...

Hi all, thanks for the help...finally got my Cube running a few days ago...turns out my firewall was blocking the port. As soon as I added the ports and fired up the Stratum Proxy it kicked in and has been running at up to 38 gh/s. I did not need to make a script for the Stratum Proxy either, simply running it as is for Slush's pool works perfectly.
That's running on my PC which is not optimal for power consumption...off now to figure out my Raspberry Pi.

Hi guys, still having trouble here. I re-looked at the instructions on Slush's pool:
Installing the proxy is pretty trivial:
Download official Windows binaries (EXE) or source package for Linux.
Run downloaded file. Console window will appear and proxy automatically connects to the pool. No command-line parameters required.
Now just change the URL in your miners from http://api.bitcoin.cz/ to http://localhost:8332/. Miners connect to the proxy using the old protocol, but the proxy talks to the pool by the new one!

Any idea what this means and where I enter this data? I'm completely lost.

i'm not so clued up on python, sorry.
you can run the stratum proxy with the following command line
"mining_proxy" it defaults to slush's pool so you only "NEED" the port settings for other pools.
You can also add the -q switch, reduces the amount of crud it prints to the screen
and the -rt switch, allows the difficulty to vary according to the power of your cube.
Have you got the Python runtime installed?
I downloaded and installed Python 3.3, tried running the stratum proxy, same errors...uninstalled 3.3, downloaded and installed 2.7, same errors.

Excellent. Did that help? Since you didn't mention that everything was awesome, I'm guessing not.
Did you get the Stratum proxy set up, BTW? We seem to have skipped that step in the troubleshooting.
What needs to be done with the Stratum Proxy? I thought I only needed to download it and run it. Does it need to be configured? Thanks for your help.

One of your earlier comments made it seem like you checked your router at 192.168.1.254in other words, that your router had that IP address.
If that's the case, you really should change the router's IP address to 192.168.1.1. You would do so through your router's configuration page.
Please clarify that for us, BTW, so that we're clear.
Whether or not that's the case, change your Cube's IP address. Yes, you could use another number below .254, but (I believe) most of us in this thread are using .200 because that's what Dogie suggested. Being on the same page as the rest of us will make any future issues that much smoother.
So, change it to .200, and then let's see how things work.

I have a switch connected because I ran out of ports on my router. I originally had the Cube plugged into the switch but moved it to the router to simply things. Could the switch be 192.168.56.1?

Thanks for your reply. Where am I changing the router from 192.168.1.254 to 192.168.1.1? I see 192.168.1.254 in the IP for the Cube in the above screen shot. Is that what you're speaking of?
