Moving etc to another wallet seems to have been the smart move.

The notice https://localbitcoins.com/blog/bitcoin-aug1-hf/ on the site explains that they will support both chains. However, they now, if asked, say they won't.

This seems misleading at best. Any other thoughts here?

The domain 'cryptomex.io' expired. Was this announced anywhere? I had a BTC withdrawal request pending.

You're not alone... Also, an update on verified addresses would be interesting, as would news from anyone other than the insiders who has actually received a distribution.

I've borrowed 0.01BTC from friend and made a claim and divs landed in my wallet. But still nothing if it comes to 2 month old withdrawal request from Cryptomex....

Requests to withdraw from cryptomex.io just reduce your balance, they don't get sent (N never changes to Y). November 30 is the new Dec 1 (aka "bad timing" or "you don't have enough ownership interest to worry about"). It must be opposite day!

First ever (?) dividend was sent today:

Thanks 29750f0e1c2fbb3bb !

Well, I guess anybody who manually verified shares with 29750f0e1c2fbb3bb got fucked today... At least I did Angry

Even verified addresses (using the requested technique) got nothing...

196UEUwxBTjn1kXhDrn7YfXWy1qzDyA1sX looks to be verified on blockchain.info, but no payout...

To all which don't receive a reply to a PM I apologize. I simply don't have enough time to perform 1 on 1 customer service. I tried to provide clear instructions for everyone to follow so they can get cleared for receiving payouts and keep them somewhat informed...

Your instructions seem to require additional expense. How is that in the best interest of the shareholders? Please provide instructions that don't incur expenses/fees.

Further, what is the point of correlating two transactions to an address of record you already have? Again, this makes little sense to me.

I am currently consolidating the financials and collecting information about the business practices at ID and compile it in a way for everyone to inspect. Also let me make clear that I am not getting paid for this.

It is lovely that you are in a position to collect information about the ID business practices. Of course, we're not getting paid either.

This makes no sense to me. Payouts should be to the address of record. If there is no other address of record then it should be to the address used to buy shares in the first instance. These transactions can already be verified on the block chain. No other validation should be needed to satisfy fiduciary responsibility.

I don't know Willem. I don't know 29750f0e1c2fbb3bb. I don't need to. But neither author has done anything here to validate that they can do anything more than waste a reader's time playing games. They've done nothing that would justify anyone playing those games. The only value I can see in this exercise is as entertainment (if you find those sorts of things fun). But I suppose trolling to calculate rates of attrition is another possibility.

Then there are the payouts that are below the threshold for withdrawal. Enough of those in enough different locations and a distribution isn't really a distribution is it?

You can sign up with out that KYC crap, licedrill will  give you your shares on cryptomex.
You cant sell or trade them without the KYC form  Angry

Im not sure if you can pull divs out without that form,
guess we will find out after will and terra stop holding our btc hostage

I don't see this as true. I see my shares here: www.icedrill.io, but there is no obvious connection between that account and my account here: www.cryptomex.io that I can see, even though I've used the same addresses...

My other questions remain unaddressed:

1. Were icedrill investment funds used to develop these two sites (cryptomex.io and icedrill.io)?
2. If so, aren't investors also entitled to an ownership interest them?

Pragmatically speaking, the long-term prospects for a trading platform would seem better than the long term prospects for a mining operation whose short term prospects aren't hopeful (the technology is quickly becoming obsolete, most of its major milestones have been missed, and the overhead seems disproportionally high), and whose long-term prospects seem dismal...

My question who owns these sites and the trading platform? Have they and their development been funded by the investors?

Good question! I would love to participate in discussions of Bitfunder going under (well, discussed, but not resolved)… If you've bitcoin there it can only be withdrawn to Weexchange, but good luck logging in there… Anyone have better news?
