down about 50% on my daily XVG earnings too...

Again, this is because the difficulty has gone up because more people mine verge. If your hashrate stays the same, earnings will drop.

But you can't just blame difficulty on this. Even if you go whattomine, it will say you should be getting 37 xvg coins dual-mining with eth @ 12.1 Gh/s hashrate, but in reality I'd be lucky to get 30 coins a day. It is usually 24-26 xvg a day which is about 35% less of what i should be getting.

Claymore 11.5 is much more stable with lower stale shares on dual mining ETH+XVG 8gpu RX580, win10 64 rig.

what total hash are you getting for ETH and what's for XVG?
Average stale shares per hour if you may.

I get 249mhs for ETH and  12465mhs for XVG. On 11.5 i get 1-2 stale share, on 11.6 i had 4-7 stales.

Wow 249 Mh for 8x cards? Are these Nitro Special Editions?

After 24hrs mining with 11.5, I get constant 241.5 eth and 12100 xvg with 1-2% stale shares. This is way better than 11.2 that i've been running.

As for now all looks ok again. XVG-Verge is working again @ NLPool.

What is the minimum payout now?

Okay switched last night and after 8 hrs 45 mins the pool is saying I have mined 12.69 XVG.

But what shocked me is the minimum payout - 50,000 coins??? I'm positive that this is a mistake. It may even be a user-configurable amount like ethermine.

Hello I have a 570 8gb nitro+ with micron memory. I want to know if the bios in the card is the original one. I mine with 25 now. And the best bios to use to go up to 30-31...! Thanks.

Use PBE one-click thingy then flash your modded bios - guaranteed >30Mh for Rx580.

Is it worth upgrading to 11.6?

I'm currently on 11.2 and my 8-card Rx580 is getting 242Mh eth-only and 241Mh dual-mining XVG.

Since Antminepool is still down, I will give this a try for 24hr period.
I might stick with this if payout is good.
I only have 12Gh.

Rig ran for 48 hrs with v11.2

Now its back to its frustrating bug that stop at pool/solo version and just hangs the whole rig.

Tried everything again from re-unzipping claymore compressed file, adding exceptions in Win Defender, making sure no trojan detected but to no avail.

Help! @claymore  Embarrassed

I have the same problem with one of my rigs from friday.
driver reinstall - nothing
do windows update - nothing
change driver version, 4 different, - nothing
rig always hang.

then I try GPU testing one by one and I found problems with GPU1. GPU work, installed driver, graphics output works but when I try to mine with Claymore or other miner soft, rig freeze, only reset.

So I run rig without this faulty GPU and all work OK now.

Tomorrow I try BIOS reflash and see...



For this issue I was able to resolve it by upgrading to 18.3.1 AMD driver although my cards (gigabyte gaming 570) that used to hash 29 to 29.6 are now down to 28.3Mh - I wonder what happened. But at least they aren't hanging now and happily mining.

This is for a guy anyway - I only tweaked it for him (bios mod, windows install, test).

12 days and 50+ pages latter: no luck yet finding any decent blake2s pool.
Unimining was good only day one after v11 release. Antmine also, maybe 2 days.
All others not even worth mentioning.

Stop wasting your power and GPUs. Stop feeding amateurs and thieves.
Unfortunately "-mode 1"  is only smart option for now.

I'm with antminepool and i lose ~20% of my supposed-to-be earnings.

I guess that's the least coins being robbed among other pools?

You have to be wise here to choose which one is the lesser evil if you want to continue dual-mining XVG.

I've got some updates:

1. I finally set my undervolting to 800v for all 8 GPUs. Why did this take me so long to do?
2. Antminepool seems to be down (XVG), so switched to unimining. Still just these 3 pools for XVG?

Wow, 800mV? Report back if it's stable - i'm pretty sure it won't be  Grin

Lowest undervolt i've applied is 825mV and that's for a 580 Gaming X that hashes 30Mh.

Curious what cards are these and what OS.

First time trying dual-mining ETH + XVG yesterday and used antminepool.

Whattomine stated i'd be able to mine 38 coins a day, but came home to only 30 coins with 28hrs run time and counting.

Something's definitely off if I'm losing 20% of my supposed to be earnings.  Angry

Can anyone help me please and give me some info on this error:

There are 4 1050 cards, and 2 1060 cards on the miner. Latest NVIDIA driver which for both cards is the same. MB: ASUS Z170-A ( I know a piece of crap!). PSU: 1050W Green. Win10 X64. MSI Afterburner for OC. 80 power limit, CC:+100. MC: +700. Runs at about 50 degree.

I've got lots of miners running stable. But this one works for about 3 days, then the 1060 cards fail, miner restarts, and the 2 1060 cards are gone. When it happens, the 1060 cards look fine physically, and both are fine in Device Manager, but in Afterburner, both cards are frozen without being able to do anything on them. And they are no giving any Hash either obviously. System need to be restarted for them to get fixed.

I'm hosting the system for a third party, the hardware is theirs, but I clean installed the OS, and did everything by the book. Only software issue that I can think of is, that after installing the OS and trying to run it for the first time, Claymore wouldn't start at all which was related to the OpenCL.dll file which for some reason was missing from sys32. I copied the .dll file from an identical system and put it in the miner's sys32 file.

That's what I downloaded from the XVG website and i tried to create a new verge.conf file into the app data folder of XVG but nothing changed - still "Not Connected" status.  Sad

Finally logged into this account after a while. Eep.

So much has changed!

- All cards should ship with a default 30.5-31.5 MH/s VBIOS in 2018.
- OhGodATool v 2.0 is incoming - voltage probing, on-the-fly editing in Linux, decode/encode, and a whole bunch more. For Polaris and Vega, I might add! And, a lovely GUI, provided by OhGodABird. Whoop!
- Guides for GDDR5 and GDDR5X in ELIG fashion are incoming. We're just waiting on the website to be finished. Now that I've grown some balls and started ignoring the threats from others, it's time to demistify all this shit.
- HBM2/GDDR6 will be the main focus for 2018. Get acquainted with it, folks.

Currently, I need to gather requests from the community: what do YOU want to see in an all-in-one GDDR5/GDDR5X editing/optimization tool? Besides it automatically training to get the optimal values.


I guess if the tool can suggest optimal values not only in timing straps but voltages as well, card dependent.
Also, is it possible to suggest a memory clock value based on ASIC quality of a card e.g. a card having higher asic quality can withstand higher clocks as well without tons of memory errors?

I hope I’m making sense here and apologies if not.

Just started dual mining XVG with ETH a while ago. However my desktop wallet always say “disconnected”. I fear i might not get it working and my Verge coins will be stuck there.

Anyone has similar problem? Or does anyone have suggestion for a better wallet besides exchanges?

Core Dev team will just deploy a change in the algorithm of Ethash andn those shiny new F3s won’t work anymore. They can will eth forks but not ethereum itself.
