Such things rearly come on TV news, only in the case if someone were seriously (physically) hurt. I've never been in such situations, thanks God. As I already said in some post self-control is the thing that moves gambler to success.

Self-control. That is one of characteristics of professional and well known gamblers. That's actually how they gone so high. Of course there are another factors of success too, such as skills and luck. But I count self-control as the main of them. Not each of us can stay cool headed during the game and that's one of reasons why we loose at the most of times.

Re: Where we are now with Gambling
by

30 years ago when I became old enough to be allowed into gambling
establishments I played all sorts of games, poker, 21, poker machines,
one arm bandits. I remember the atmosphere in the "clubs", the sound
if the machines, the multicoloured lights, the sound of coins being
paid out, the cigarette smoke, the sticky carpet, the chat, the laughter
and the giving out as people went bust.

Today its a different scene or there is no scene. I visited a club last
night while out socialising and it was dead to the point where I wonder
how the club is able to stay open.

Since the creation of smartphones gambling is now 24/7, 365 days a year
Its so easy and convenient anyone can get involved and everyone is
targeted.
See, you are talking about coming to some 'available' age before to start to gamble. Now with online services basically everyone can start to gamble. Everything you need is to click on 'yes, I confirm I have 18 years' or something like that.

Re: Online Gambling Versus Traditional Gambling
by

People who do not have nearby casinos or do not have that much time and have to make best use of the available time for gambling then yes online is the best for them. Also now blockchain has change the way people have started to gamble and use crypto as a mode of payment.

I have a lot of spot bet clubs, casinos, slot clubs and others in my city. On every big street there are some of such places, but I prefer online gambling in any case. Just do not like the tension atmosphere there and the smell of cigars ( I do not smoke) there. I just visit sport bet places sometimes, but that doesn't take a lot of time, coz I prefer to watch the game at home. Online gamblings gives me not just the joy of taking risk, but comfort atmosphere of my own place.

-snip-
I think if you only play for fun no need to spend money, everyone doing a gamble because they want to multiply their money and gain a lot of profit so he can buy a lot of stuff/item.
I do gamble for fun at the most of the time and making money is not my first target of such spending of time. I love to play poker with my friends and here the point is more about chilling and having fun and good conversation instead to make yourself richer through all of them.

Re: Worst case if I submit my passport to an exchange?
by

Every time when I see that a site asks me for my passport I have a feeling that someone may use it for taking of loans on my name and all of the fight with the law to prove that its not I who took the loan, but just my private info used in a wrong way.

Livecoin exchanger would suit to you. They do not require for KYC registration, it's suggested there just like a possible option for better safety.

I do not know what you mean under the word "effect". Isn't it can be counted as effectively use of KYC instead of just let people to join incognito? The system has shown itself already and due to positive results now it seems like everyone wish to use it. That's what I call effective use of something.

I also have the same questions and looking for answers for it. At the same time I think it is too early to say about coming back of bull market and to expect that the raise is going to lead long. We may only hope for that.

Re: Are You Afraid of KYC?
by

I've never participated in a project which asks for KYC information yet. And I do not actually plan to do that, only if such thing will be required everywhere, in that case I simply will have no choice. I am not so afraid of the system, but about protection of my private info. There are not guarantees for 100% safety and I am afraid my private info would be used for wrong/illegal targets.

Well, its a crime and it should be punished. Maybe some of users will say that 3,5 years for such innocent kind of crime is too much, but Chinese laws are generally rough and I am not surprised of this.

Re: Signature Campaigns taxes
by

I wouldn't bother. The amount you can earn from these campaigns are quite small, even for Legendary ranks.
That's right. If to cash out by little like 50-100$ a month a bank won't has any pretensions to those money. Taxation is more about big sum of money which source you should represent to the bank and taxation system.

April fools I hope.

Of course it is. Just look at all of this required information! How many of us remember the name of our first pet at all?!  Cheesy
I am surprised how the team of the forum can always be on the top of actual things on the 1st April  and really to make some fools from users. I believe that there is a one who took it all seriously.

I have an addicted gambler in my family and I know how tough it may be. When it comes to addiction not only the gambler suffer, but all of his family and relatives. That's why I vote for regulation of this entertainment business.

As I remember I participated in one signature campaign which promoted porn site last year. I do not see anything pad in that in the case if there is no child porn there. I think the campaign is going to be the same popular as others. Good luck!

Re: Gambling destitute
by
greeklogos
on 29/03/2019, 10:00:46 UTC
Gambling as a game of luck involved the winning of the most lucky gambler and not the skills required from the gambling that enable the winnings. Gamble with more efforts could yield more results from the game. Loses in gambling made a gambler a destitute.
To win in gambling only with luck you should be like Domino from the Deadpool movie  Cheesy
Skills and knowledges and experience are definitely welcomed here. WWhen you know all the rules, all possible results, can calculate cards or other things your chances are much higher than at any "lucky" newbie.
