Yes you are right. You can start with any amount. But it's better not to invest all the money at once. I think $ 500-1000 is a good investment.I will pick IOTA, ETN, Spectre (sxdt, sxut) and EOS! These coin mentioned are in the process of development with capable developers and team supporting these coin! I am very sure these coin will do well in the not too distant future!
These are good coins with good potential. I think by the end of next year the price will grow significantly on these coins.I've been reading through this forums for the past few weeks and all I see is "this coin is dead" or "everything is a shit coin". In my opinion NEO more promising coin. On this platform, several ICO are already running.Since Zcash launch, prices have been around the $1000+ mark, however after a few days the price has gone down, and I think that it will continue to do so for the following days until it reaches the total supply of 21 million coins.
In my own opinion, Zcash has been overvalued, (considering that there have been privacy oriented altcoins before like Monero) and the fact that Zcash does not enforce anonymity by default (unlike Monero), it makes me wonder whenever Zcash would be a good investment or not.
If there is one thing that I don't like about Zcash, is the fact that it is behind a company, as well as having a sort of premine called Founder's reward, which seems kind of fishy to me.
Please let me know what do you think about this.

In the current situation of better growth of crypto industry I want to make some investment.
But I really got confused when I am going to make the final decision. My mind is supporting ETH but my study suggesting to go for EOS.
I am just freaking puzzled to make the final decision.

There is no doubt that ethereum is my choice, because I haven't seen any product released by EOS, I heard that they have testnet, but nobody use it in crypto.
There is already an ICO on the EOS platform. They are very few because the EOS network was recently launched.If I were you, I would to sell 30% or 40% of my altcoins now and buy some main coins for hold. Just safe other for hold, if you think, you company, which you choose will rise up their coins on market.
I also think it's better to sell some of the coins and buy BTC. This is the best option now.
