Re: Do you still believe in crypto?

Hey guys, I wanna ask you a simple question. Do you still believe in crypto? Do you think it will strike back and we all will be rich? Why?
i think mainly in the technology of blockchain behind the crypto. there was a big hype about the crypto last year, and that lead at some level of pricing that was not representing the reality. i think that the technology is more important than the hype and alluding on the pricing. this way we do not leave the technology grow and develop as it deserves to

So its infinity like fiat currency a victim of inflation. If so why the value high like $300 each?

Enemies of bitcoin are pumping it to teach bitcoin a lesson. Sadly though, bitcoin community is making their jobs a lot easier.
well the bitcoin community, as we are, is not so experienced yet, and some lessons are more than welcome.

Re: 8 reasons to start playing blockchain games
by
greennesslatern
on 20/10/2018, 22:57:08 UTC
Thinking yet? Let me help you.

You should start playing blockchain games, because:

1. In contrast to usual video games you owe products you bought for your game. And blockchain controls all the operations;
2. You don’t need to invest money to start earning;
3. You earn crypto;
4. It’s only in your hands. Nobody can influences your chances to win. It’s just you and your gaming skills: the better you play the more you earn (up to $3k);
5. There is trading too;
6. You have more possibilities to earn;
7. Competition is low. You can make a good profit just being professional;
8. DApps users number will be growing comparing to traders.

UPD

I've noticed a lot of people here want to know how to find blockchain games. That is why I've created product hunt collection with new blockchain games. Hope it will be useful for you  Cheesy

If this will happen is it possible that decentralization be compromised?
banks and who have the money want the control. probably cryptocurrencies and traditional can hardly be linked. regardless of this, the banks will for sure use the blockchain technology for their purposes

Do you think some bounty managers are sadist, i have an encounter with a manager recently, he is in a position to help me to recover my forgotten email but refused to help.

What is your worst encounter with a bounty manger?
probably he just had no possibility to do it, or was just sick of having to face those kind of problems. probably we are more sadist toward ourselves sometimes...

Re: Another December Bull run
by
greennesslatern
on 20/10/2018, 22:50:20 UTC
I have this assumption that we may be having another December bull run, though may not be as high as we had last year. Bitcoin however have maintained a very good support level around $6000 since this year and there is no sign of breaking lower.

Sampling opinions from various investors show that there is this excitement and anticipation of another end of the year bull season and aside TA and FA, the market is equally controlled by the investors psychology and with this whole charade of an expected December bull season, I am of the opinion that it will likely come as a lot of persons are already waiting as we have a large number who are "for" than those "against".

i have some altcoins in red, i can not wait to see them in green and trade them with some profits

Couple of minutes ago, I have seen XRP was in 2nd place. In this month, it has been happened twice. What do you think? Will XRP get the 2nd place for a long time?
In my opinion, if XRP gets the bounce in next month, the position will be for long term.
well, they have two different usecases. so being second or third is not the problem Wink

You could see my past topics, all written before some big pump:OST, BLT, GAME, MTL, MCO

today i want to talk you about evergreen coin, EGC
This is my favourite project out there

Its market cap went all the way down to 800k.

so, if it reaches 8 millions again(really easy target), it's a x10 from here.

Moreover, it has a great purpouse.

By staking it in your walllet, you get 7% yearly.

And a little part of it goes to environmental causes, they planted a lot of trees, and dug water wells for development countries.

The team is great and i love the idea, they really deserve support and success.
thanks for the tip. will give it a close look. from what you say seems promising, but will go and do my research Wink

You should research by yourself.

In my opinion, it is really risky to invest in the project without game-changing technology, transparency, and honesty.
it is too early for them to penetrate the Muslim market as they simply don't have things, that "normal project" would have.

MAKE sure you find everything out before investing!

being all that you said more right, the Muslim market has also their rules that are also more difficult to be followed by ICOs

Re: ICO vs IPO
by
greennesslatern
on 10/10/2018, 20:06:13 UTC
As we all heard about IPO (Initial Public Offering) and ICO (Initial Coin Offering).
Let us discuss the difference between them.
Will ICO take place of IPO in near future???

IPO is usually done in conjunction with stock exchange while ICO is done in the cryptocurrency market. As far as I know, no company can launch an IPO without first proving its worth and without passing all the legal requirements set out in the law so as to protect the investors. While in ICO being under an unregulated and decentralized platform anybody can launch an ICO anytime anywhere....a situation opening floodgates to scammers and frauds. When you buy an IPO you are basically buying a stock of the company and therefore entitled for company dividends now the same thing could not be true with ICO otherwise the project can be flagged as selling security and can be against the law. I am then hoping that soon we can see ICO evolving and advancing so that we can weed out scammers and that investors are not only protected but can be earning something out of the money they invested even if the value of the ICO is going down in crypto-exchanges.
i did not know about this difference so thank you for explaining it to us. therefore i am wondering now why have we let all those ICOs to get easy money from all of us without the evidence of a good final product?  Huh Roll Eyes Cry

Re: Ripple Study: 75% of Firms in the Payment Sector Need to Use Cryptos
by

on 06/10/2018, 16:47:36 UTC
Regardless of the fall in the prices of major digital currency assets, adoption has grown and several sectors of the global economy will go on to embrace the use of crypto in the future. This is ratified by a recent study carried out by Ripple which indicated that 75% of firms in the payment sector intend to use cryptos as a means of payment.

Read the details in the article of Coinidol dot com, the world blockchain news outlet: https://coinidol.com/firms-in-payment-sector-need-to-use-cryptos/

      Yes I was able to read two shipping company will be using XRP as payments for their transaction worldwide and maybe this is the time for ripple to be on top of all altcoins since this was ahead of ETH two times already .
who are those two shipping company?

Re: Stop Crying about Crypto!

What is the famous saying....."If you can't handle the heat get out of the kitchen."

There are so many people crying about the recent dip of BTC that I'm frankly getting annoyed. You should know the risk involved in investing in crypto. If not, don't even waste your money. Go buy a CD that won't make more than the rate of inflation. Remember investing is literally legalized gambling. Treat it as such or don't even jump in the pool.
you have opened this post quite a few months ago and it is still actual. but people get worried about their money. so it is comprehensive see they complaining
