Re: What happens when Bitcoin reaches its Max Supply?
by

on 29/10/2017, 21:31:59 UTC
At some point in the future, probably around 2140, the last bitcoin will be mined. Once 21 million bitcoins are created, no more bitcoins will ever be created. That doesn't mean that the bitcoin world will come crashing down, however. Besides awards for hashing, bitcoin also provides transaction fees. Currently, these fees amount to only a tiny amount, only a fraction of a sent. However, as bitcoin awards go down, the fees will likely increase, as will the value of bitcoin.

Re: What is a hard fork

Let us use Microsoft Word for example. Microsoft frequently releases new versions of Word. Each version attempts to be backwards compatible and retain the ability to read and edit older documents. However, often older versions of Word have great difficulty in reading documents created in one of the newer versions. So if you create a document in Word 2007 and your buddy edits and saves it in Word 2013, you may have problems reading it. Despite the assumption that its going to be the same document, you two have created a fork in your document.

Re: Why is Bitcoin Price So Fluctuating?
by
greenpips
on 29/10/2017, 21:09:20 UTC
The value of Bitcoin has endured many fluctuations since its emergence and still doesn’t seem to be showing any signs of slowing. However, in the past two years, the Bitcoin currency has seen a remarkable high in its price, which is dictated by the purchasing power of fiat currencies in countries where bitcoins can be used for financial transactions. Ultimately, this trend that can be seen over the past two years is expected to continue, but at a rate of which nobody knows.

I tried this on a modded kindle tablet. I mined approximately 2 cents of bytecoin per day. However this stress on my tablet killed it. So it ended up being a net loss. You can mine on an android operating system, but you will probably lose money.

Bitcoin users can also be subject to theft, scams, and frauds, which some argue is made easier because of Bitcoin’s structure and lack of regulation. The very nature of Bitcoin makes fraud prevention hard, one of the biggest factors being there is no way to retrieve Bitcoin that has been stolen or conned, and no way to revert the transaction.

Cryptocurrencies can better adapt to the prevalent challenges of both funding and the emerging digital economy in addition to being a way to engage communities through P2P tech and crowdfunding platforms. There are over 2 billion people without access to the financial economy and even basics of modern civilization.

Backed by trusted investors and used by millions of customers globally, Coinbase is one of the most popular and well-known brokers and trading platforms in the world. The Coinbase platform makes it easy to securely buy, use, store and trade digital currency. Users can purchase bitcoins, Ether and now Litecoin from Coinbase through a digital wallet available on Android & iPhone or through trading with other users on the company’s Global Digital Asset Exchange (GDAX) subsidiary. GDAX currently operates in the US, Europe, UK, Canada, Australia, and Singapore. GDAX does not currently charge any transfer fees for moving funds between your Coinbase account and GDAX account. For now, the selection of tradable currencies will, however, depend on the country you live in.

Bitcoin hardware wallets are the most secure form of Bitcoin wallets, however, unlike software wallets, they cost money. If you’re serious about securing your Bitcoins go for a hardware wallet. If however you’re only storing a small amount of coins you can use one of the free software wallets.

Is it better to save money in bank or invest it online, in real estate or maybe gold?
I think it is better you keep your money in the bank. because when agan storing them in online or investment will be much of a problem as I've ever experienced previously when using paypal. that made me shift to using bitcoin
