Now buy price is 2 satoshi, so if we will see empty buy orders it will mean only one - the coin is not needed anybody and we can safely forget about the coin (There are many examples of the process)

damn, thats a massive drop.

I haven't staked once since the new wallet.  Huh
network weight has more than doubled (compare to a month ago)
I used to be able to mine once a day, now its more like once every 3-4 days.

I've been staking nearly a month since the airdrop. I dont keep the wallet open 24hrs, so calculations may be slightly off, but so far staking rewards are 300 TOKC from 5500 TOKC.
so perhaps 100% per yr is more accurate than 200%?

so my understanding is,

Not all the coins are used to claim stake, so these portions and the one you mined as a result of staking will be put away for several hrs(or number of confirmations to be reached)

Until then rest of the coins in your wallet will continue staking and rinse and repeat above steps.

so having 1 mil coin doesn't mean you get 1000s every stake mine. you may only need a couple of hundred to claim a stake.
However, due to the number in your wallet, the chance of claiming raises significantly higher than say normal airdrop user of 5500.

Hey why u guys are still staking this on in your wallet?

I just send it to my coinsmarket account.
Then, it starts staking.
Stop worrying that you do not stake or sync, just send them to ur account in coinsmarket.
Then, now you are free from every trouble coming from Tokyo coin and its wallet.

an exchange can ban your account, lose data, get hacked or go bankrupt (well same as lose data).
Unfortunately, the best place is usually your own machine, to keep the private key as well as wallet data.

Bittrex just banned me last wk, and asking to submit verification even though I've had basic and mfa turned on. Im not in hurry to do so, but you can see I would have be a happy camper if I had large sums of $$$. (at the moment its bugger all)

Re: Ethereum: PoW or PoS?

It still isn't clear to me how to verify a transaction in pos, has that been clarified? I will be nice if this is made clear or if someone points me to a thread that explains it. Thanks in advance.
in POW you perform a complex calculation (hashing) to try to find matching numbers, when its found you can claim the block has been "mined" and receives a reward with it.
in POS, you perform a complex calculation, but difficulties is much lower, while ANYONE can attempt mining in POW, POS, only people with coins in their wallet can attempt to mine when their turn is up. (coin maturity)
I dont know how Ethererum's POW would be implemented, but general logic should be similar.

Problem is.. POW benefits big hashing power owners (pools, miners with lot of rigs) POS, people with large sums of coins in their wallet wins over smaller wallet.
Neither POW, POS are perfect but each with their own benefits.
