it's because there are still a lot of ICOs that became success and huge and make the investors became a millionaire, that's why they're still doing this, even there are scam ICOs but still, not every ICOs are scam, there are still promising ICO that will give them a lot of money
I was wondering, why a lot of projects don't have such an important thing for a successful ICO as a product.
When a company has a product it means they have it to develop. In such case, a company shows why they need ICO and how the company will be growing. What is more, there is more trust because a company has experience in a field they are working.
For example, KickCity company that exists two years. KickCity an event platform that generates revenue and has a Helsinki government grant. KickCity needs ICO to make business bigger and to become a decentralized platform where every user is rewarded for ticket promotion.
On the other hand, no product ICOs can prove their success just in theory. There is no proof base that product will be developed and will be working right.
In such unstable industry as ICO everything has to be under control. The product is one of the things that shows the campaign is not a scam. That is why I believe it is better to invest in ready-made products ICOs.

I'm absolutely agree with this, if we invest our money in no product ICOs, it tends to more scam ICO, that's why if we don't do that, at least it's minimalize our risk to lose our money in the future, because it's too risky to do

Yeah, it's happening right now, everyday all we cann see is RED in the market, but i don't really care about it. The price of altcoin will getting better again soon, even after the big crash happened, it's a good chance for us to invest more because the price will getting higher again after that
I discovered bitcoin when it was about $5 per coin and during that time for several reasons I could not buy it. I discovered eth and xmr when they were around $10 per coin and I could not find a good place to buy them. I discovered netko when it was about $0.05 and I could not get the wallet compiled. I probably had around 40 bitcoins and cashed them all out under $800 and I could name more.

My biggest regrets in cryptocurrency world is i got in to the crypto space is quite late, i almost join and got into crypto space in about 2015, but i lost my interest in them because one of my friend lose their money, after a few months it turns out cryptospace is very promising. that's my biggest regret

-Check the developer and the manager
-Check the roadmap of the campaign
-Check the stake from the campaign
-Read every rules of the campaign

No, it will not, i don't think ICO will die in this year. ICO will still can survive even in a few years ahead, it's because there are still too many people who participated and invested their money in ICOs, there are many ICOs that became success and huge these days.

it's because people tend to got scam whenever they invest their money, that's why they also don't believe in crypto, which is a very bad mvoe, crypto is a real deal, you really can earn so much money through cryptocurrencies

For me, i still keep both of them, BTC and ETH, because i think both of them are a very great investment, if you prefer a long-term investment, even the price of BTC is not too good for now, so i don't think it's a great idea to sell your BTC and buy ETH right now

it's not too good now, for me it's still bleeding, the price of ETH as for today is only $534 USD, it should be around $1-2k USD then we can say that it's going strong and good, but there will be an improvement from ETH, it's only the matter of time

you have to be patient to get more profit, you just can't invest in altcoins and then suddenly become rich, even you have much money to spare for investment, you still have to be patient, because everything is possible in the cryptospace, you have to wait until the price is increasing then you can sell your alts
Long time holding is a smart thing to do as far as crypto currency is concern. I have realize that, investors try to play smart in the crypto business in that, they begin to dump most tokens to cause a decline in token prices. The title of this thread is bit provocative, but the fact is that most people have a bad experience with airdrops. According to several airdrop hunters I spoke to, the majority ICOs don't pay out at all.

No it's not 99% but 100% are scams,. i never got any payment from any bounties i joined and participated, so it will only waste your time, you should just join bounty campaign if you want to earn money
I can't name any other coin/token, which failed more times than ETH. It's not about loving or hating it, it's all about people losing money, because of situations which can be avoided. I would care less if these ETH based projects were not asking money from the masses, but that's not the case. And believe me when I'm saying that Ethereum has some powerful lobbyists. Otherwise its price would be probably 1/5 from the current one.

Of course i still support Ethereum (ETH), as an bounty hunter and trader, i will keep support ETH whatever happen with ETH, i do believe that ETH will reach the peak again in no time, it will reach $1k-1,5k soon, we just need to wait.

where did you hear about that ? i haven't heard anything like that and i don't think that it's true, even more people got into cryptospace and very excited to invest their money into cryptocurrencies, it's because crpyto is real and very promising

Most of the times i did this, i always found out that i later ran at loss, not considering my effort and the time spent in promoting such project.
I could have also had 2x and sometimes 10x the ICO price, but impatience made me to loose the opportunity.
My last experience was on a token i received. Mentioning the name will be of no use, but for crypto enthusiasts to also learn from my mistake. Ever since then, i have learnt to hold and this has been profitable to me.
