Re: I BOUGHT INS AT $20 AND ITS $3.5

Wait for their idea to be completely up and running, the ecosystem they hope to create can be a really big success and if you hold then the value will surely go much higher than that previous $20. You're just going to have to wait some months I'm afraid.

Re: What's the worst trading decision you've ever made?
by

We always hear people posting about their awesome trades and/or gains but very rarely hear about the stupid things that people do. With that in mind, let's hear the biggest brainfarts you've had while trading crypto...

Well there's been a fair few rushed trades which have resulted in typos and buying at a much higher price than intended, I wouldn't say they're decisions though. Recently I wanted to stoploss a coin and bittrex being a pile of crap wouldn't let me sell for a few minutes because they were overloaded and I couldn't log in. After that I had missed my stoploss price and it dropped a further 5% or so and I thought 'oh it's too late now', well since then it's dropped a further 50% and now I'm bag holding like an idiot.

Re: What do you think about Korean's news? Will crypto prices rise up again?

These are difficult time for crypto market!
What do you think about Korean's news? Will crypto prices rise up again? Or this is the beginning of the end?

We'll recover, this is nothing in my opinion compared to the China ban on ICOs and exchange shut downs, and we recovered from that pretty swiftly. I think it will take a little time but give it a few weeks and we'll be back towards ATH levels and talking about how high things can go instead of how low they can go.

Re: NEVER REGRET A TRADE AGAIN!

How do we never regret a trade again when we lose money, miss a cryptocurrency pumping, and sell our Bitcoin or altcoins early on Coinbase, Bittrex, Bitstamp, or Poloniex? The trick is realizing that as long as we are playing any game in life, losing is certain and winning happens more often

Well I disagree in thinking of trading as a game but you're right that losing is a certainty and all you have to hope is that your gains outweigh your losses. Remember that you are not omniscient and so can't always do everything perfectly.

Re: bitcoin prices not rising! should we trade or hold?
by

on 02/01/2018, 14:56:39 UTC
it was predicted that bitcoin prices would fall in the last week of 2017 and rise in the first week of 2018 but none of that has happent rather the price has beet pretty stable around 13500 usd.
what are your opinion on this,is it the time to trade or hold because i dont have enough funds to buy or invest more.

It's time to trade if you mean to try and grow your bitcoin, but it is definitely not time to sell your bitcoin. The price is low right now compared to the previous ATH and so the price can easily return there quickly.

Re: Are you in favor of same sex marriage?

I am very much in favor of same sex marriage, as a heterosexual male I have made many friends who are gay and I have no problem with that, they should be afforded the same rights as hetero marriages, same with females. They are not ill, they just like something different to us, it's no different to a difference in which food you like etc.

Trading is massively unpredictable, especially in cryptocurrencies. It is difficult as a job because you can never be sure of how much you will earn which makes planning your finances for life very difficult.

Re: Loss almost 40%, should stop trading or not ?

Just because you lose at something does not mean that you should stop, you can take your time to study your mistakes and learn from them in the future, hopefully then in future you can have better results and recover your losses and then some.

I haven't traded much yet and why it may mirror some games I've played in the past I try my hardest to remember it's real money and a serious market and to not treat things as I would a game. I feel if you do this then you will make poor decisions and lose money.

Re: i got a crush to someone who already has a boyfriend

Yes, i know i sounds like a bad guy, but i just couldn't get this girl out of my head. we talked few times, i do not have her number yet. the moment her friends told me she has a boyfriend already was my most heartbreaking moment. and i'm still heartbroken. yeah i don't know what she's done to me lol until i'm so crazy for her.
Mostly the advice i received is move on and find another girl. i don't know what i can do or what should i do. anyone has experience in this kind of situation can offer some advice?

I think almost all guys have been there before. Morally the right thing to do would be to leave her alone, be her friend if possible and give her her chance at happiness with her current boyfriend. If you like her enough you should be happy if she's happy. If things don't work out with her boyfriend then maybe you'll get your chance then.

I am looking to begin trading also and am starting by reading the forum here as well as watching videos and reading books and news etc, when I feel comfortable with my knowledge of cryptos I will go and deposit some money and look to trade, I won't be too active as I feel that's a bad start, I will look to trade and hold coins for a few weeks or so.

Trading is one of the most unpredictable jobs and that is why it is very very difficult, the volatility is huge and the markets are forever changing, it is why if you can make a success as a trader you can often earn much more than in other fields of work.

I think that the secret to leading a happy life is to always do the things you want to and not worry too much. Live in the present and try not to focus too much on things that have come before or will happen in the future.

Re: $10.000 = 1BTC on New Year?
by

I suspect that the price of bitcoin will recover to somewhere around the previous all the time high of 8000 usd but I do not think that we will reach 10k before the end of the year because it is quite a long way to increase in a short time.

With the bitcoin rally today, it is all set to cross $6000 now. Also, it will be featured a lot more in the mainstream media as it has reached its All time high, i believe a lot of new investors are going to jump into the market.

Right, every time that bitcoin reaches a new ATH there are a swathe of articles that always bring new investors. Still 6k is a few days away in the absolute best case scenario, more likely a few weeks.

Re: When will BTC be at $10,000? Take a Guess

I think bitcoin is destined to reach 10k and probably considerably higher but I think we may have to wait until at the earliest of autumn/fall of 2018. I think this years gains have been quite remarkable but that they will not be repeatable again next year.

Which currencies are you referring to that are losing value against the dollar etc? From what I can see most are relatively stable after a slight recovery in the recent week, such as ether and XRP and LTC.
