Halving will only make price stable for now i dont think it will go up for
Most of litecoin holders will be happy if the price will not go down from current level back to 1,6USD.
But if the BTC will fall back to 220-240 or grow above 300 LCT price will be influenced for sure.
Would the current price keep mining profitable for most miners after the halving? Should mining profitability be considered a good indicator of price?

It will start moving again soon I guess. Will be interesting the coming 2 weeks!

Will the rise be depending on a similar BTC rise? Will LTC move up even if BTC doesn't manage to break 300?

geforce is better than AMD for this algo?
depends on your goals. AMD 290X gets the most hashrate, but it draws a lot of power.
the nvidia maxwell architecture is much more efficient.
for the AMD cards you can take a look at the claymore GPU miner thread. It has most cards listed with diffrent memory types (elipa/hynix). There might also be a change in favor for AMD with the new line of cards that should be able to match nvidas maxwell architecture in terms of energy efficiency. But I guess we will have to wait and see until someone buys a Fury card and mines some XMR.
I'm getting a bit nervous from how fast we are moving.

But i bet 99% will do this, i will wait from now to 2021 and see what will happen,

yea I will probably be selling way before the 20k mark. Hoppfully I will be sticking to the bitcoin savings plan ( https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=345065.0 ) and not get to greedy to fast.
