It would be great if you could provide some command for restoring rig to default data. With erasing all what was added/installed manually.
Thanks.

I have a strange issue for some days.
I receive a notification in Telegram and I see on site of my Far that rig is offline - but I can connect to it via putty and I see that it is working and miner working good.
Then in 5 minutes rig appear online and I receive notification in Telegram about it.

Could you please explain to me why it is happening.
Thank you in advance.

Have a nice day.

HiveOS Linux GPU v0.5-63
- add Claymore Dual v11.9
- cpuminer-opt accepted/rejected report, small bugfix
- Autofan. Fixes for stability. New config option REBOOT_ON_ERROR=1, this will reboot rig if autofan can't read GPU temp or fan.
- Small preparations for Hive 2.0 release

Could you please add some more config options for autofan. Setting the max and min temps somehow would be great. Because at the moment I see that setting it by running the autofan.sh script, not really working.

Red Temp in the top right of the Monitor screen.
Is it a
TARGET_TEMP=60
that you mentioned earlier?
Or it is just coloring the temps?
Thanks.
Red Temp for coloring in web and telegram bot alarm messages. But it's good idea use it on autofan too

If you could add it to the next release that would be wonderful for easy control of fans. And it would be logic also)))
Thank you in advance.

I found that you have integrated autofan 2.0 in Hive from release 0.5 - 59.
How can I set up the min and max temps now?

I have installed it by myself and there I`m setting them but I`m not sure that it works.

Autofan in preview stage. In fact it's public beta so no tools in web interface. You need to manually create configuration file calling autofan.conf and put it to /hive-config and then execute autofan command or reboot rig for apply

Configuration file is very simple
Code:
# GPU target temperature. AutoFan
TARGET_TEMP=60

# Min fans speed
MIN_FAN=25

# Max fan speed
MAX_FAN=100

#temperature of stop miner
CRITICAL_TEMP=75

#AMD fan control (AMD control enable-0/AMD control disable-1)
NO_AMD=0

Autofan will try to adjust the speed of the fans in such a way as to keep the temperature specified TARGET_TEMP
Of-course for using with AMD cards you need to disable miner fans control to eliminate possible conflicts between miner and autofan module.

I find out that I had 2 autofan screens running. I killed both and start new one.
I didn`t find /hive-config folder.
under root@hive.... I see only this
autofan.conf
autofan.sh
tmp
xinit.user.sh

I think this autofan is that I was installed myself.

Anyway, autofan is working a lot different before I updated Hive to last version. I can`t really say better or no ... Need to see. But Fan speeds now differ from what they were.

only at windows can undervolt max ..
i have 6x rx580 . @windows 186 mh/s@840w
hive os .. if i will get 186 mh/s @950w consume

I also get 850w, but @173 mh/s eth minig with claymore

Maybe it was long time ago ?

With feature  "aggressive undervolting" values a nearest to windows

What do you mean "aggressive undervolting" ?
In OC settings I see only one possible of undervolting.

I have just released phi2 sp-mod #1. (0.05btc +2% fee. pm me)

Luxcoin (phi 2) sp-mod #1 pre-results.

7.1 MHASH on the 1080ti with 80% tdp and oc. With the current difficulty and prices $2.6 per day. ccminer 2.3 is doing 5.7MHASH on the same card,clocks and tdp. I will release the mod later today.

Even with ccminer 2.3 It is very more profitable now.

All the coins are pretty much putting up the same profit numbers, there is no longer any that blows the other away.
Yeah seems that way a lot of people are moving away from zec/zen to other coins because of asics and killing the profit on them :-\and on top of all that we are in bear market EmbarrassedTake a good look now what will happen with mining when(if)eth moves to pos
if i correctly remember ZEC devs said, that they would change algo to become asic-resist quickly, then asics would appear. but it was few months ago, may be smth changed.
Yes, changed. They said that ASIC resist is not a priority. And they continue working due to roadmap. And only in October will speak about it again.

Hi dtsm,
It would be lovely if you could optimize your miner for 1080/1080ti series the next update. For each update that gets released it seems like your only focus is 1060-series.

+ from me too
