The other Viacoin dev "Reorder" just finished my Viacoin in golang (viad) alternative implementation.
It's insane but the other dev seems to be 10x better than me. He's really 1337, elite dev.
He wrote Auxpow in golang (I think he's the first one who did it).
I'm impressed.
Backstory: Viacoin in Golang is based on Btcd. Btcd was created by the Decred developers and Decred was made by using Btcd.

I believe "year of the doge" is only for the reason that 2018 on the Lunar zodiac happens to be the year of the dog. So that's where the correlation is coming from. As for development, I think there's someone working on the next version of the client software. Don't see much other dev work being done.
However, doge remains a relatively stable coin with a number of followers, so I don't think it will disappear anytime soon. I am not sure why you said you are losing hope, but hodling it is quite fine. It also depends on what price you got it. In any case, if you need the money and want to offload some of your coins, you can try to time the market and offload bit by bit when price surges. It has dipped a few days before but has recovered a bit recently.

Imo it really depends. Short term we could see 30$, mid-long term maybe even 100$. In general I think it's very undervalued project, but who knows... if crypto goes wild (2trillion$ cap on all coins/tokens) we may see things no one expected... if crypto goes to shit we may be just playing 'crypto pokemon go' by ourselves and visit each other to drop coins
As an enthusiast I don't intend on selling/dumping therefore I don't look at price as much, I could sell 50-100 coins at 30$ each and go on nice holidays, but I am not as much after price in short term.
ps. don't get me wrong, I enjoy positive price movements and I do get scared when I see people dumping, but at same time I feel this project has great fundamentals.
Growth in a bear market is a great thing, a lot of people are noticing GEO on Bittrex as one of the highest gainers of the last 24 hours. So I mean as long as BTC doesn't really start to go to shit like dropping under $8k I think this trend will continue for a few days, by tomorrow we could see a new floor over 100k sat if the 24h volume keeps building and that isn't hard as it isn't even a few hundred BTC yet. I am going to hold long term as well though, find it very difficult to call short-term price swings but I think it will be much higher than this in a few years.

The future of NEO seems very good and I regret selling it cheaply a year ago. Now I will try to invest again, hopefully I'm lucky.
You should to consider before buy NEO again, if you want to invest into NEO without any strategy, you are depend upon your luck and you can not make good profit through investment, even you will loss more your money after invested into NEO what are your thoughts on current madness?
