I'm just collecting informations around. You see, I live in Italy where Bitcoin is not used at all in the real economy, there are just few users making speculation. I'm doing a research for the university to understand all the reason why in Italy the cryptocurrency are not used in the real economy and if a 1:1 currency could fix the problem.

If you have any suggestion for my research please feel free to share you're thinking.

Ciao a tutti,
Sarebbe effettivamente usata nell'economia reale?

Scrivete tutto quello che vi viene in mente

So do you think that a centralized cryptocurrency like the one they made in Canada it's not a good idea?

But do you think that a 1:1 coin would help to spread the digital coins in the real economy or it's not possible to realize this format of coin?

Hi all,
I've heard from a friend of mine that there's a cryptocurrency that is bought and sold always at 1:1 in Canada. Is it true? Can you give me some informations?

Ciao a tutti,

I have libboost but they're an older version than the one that bitcoin-qt requires. (I have the 1.49, bitcoin-qt requires the 1.55)

How to solve it?

Problem with Bitcoin-qt

Hi all,
I'm a very newbie in Bitcoin world and I'm learning now how to work with it. I have a little problem with Bitcoin-qt:
I have Debian Wheezy. I friend how mine compiled the Bitcoin-qt on my computer (using qmake I think) and everything worked. Then after an update of the system it suddenly stopped to work saying that libboost lib were missing. I installed them and start to work again. Then I restarted the system and... well... Gnome crashed and I couldn't fix it so I had to format the / and reinstall it   Angry
Now I still have the problem of libboost missing, but I don't want to install them manually 'cause I'm afraid that Gnome crashes again and that I'll have to reinstall everything again.
Any suggestion? I found on google a topic where the user fixed the problem cleaning the project and then compiled all over again and it worked, but I'm a noob also in Linux and I couldn't understand how to do it. Can you please help me?  Grin

When I try to open the qt client it shows this message on terminal:

./bitcoin-qt: symbol lookup error: ./bitcoin-qt: undefined symbol: _ZN5boost10filesystem4path7codecvtEv

I couldn't find any solution googling the message. How do I fix it?
