Re: What are your plans with your Crypto Currency?
by
guesswhat
on 25/08/2018, 23:50:47 UTC
I just wanted to  know what are your plans on your cryptocurrency in the future?

Do you plan to keep on investing?
Do you plan to exchange your crypto in fiat and leave crypto?
Will crypto survive?
My answer is number 2.
I currently have some tokens from bounties but their price is much below ico price. So I will wait for the market recovery and will turn them into fiat as I initially planned.

This is not a good decission, you need to invest in the future of crypto thing.

If you leave the market this easily, in the future, you won't be able to get your tokens/coins back with the same prices.

Re: ETH or Waves?
by

on 23/04/2018, 12:54:33 UTC
eth is better than waves.  both are good at long term investment, but as you can see, ethereum shows a lot of movement on its price that the price movement of waves.

With the current conditions ethereum is much better than waves. Ethereum is $650 but waves is $5.5 now. I think this ratio will change in the future. Ethereum will be $4,000 but waves will be $75 most probably.

Re: Why people says gold is better?
by
guesswhat
on 13/02/2018, 17:27:17 UTC
Why do people say that gold is better? , - Because many of them are not very versed in the blockchain and the crypto currency market. Although I would not compare gold and digital gold. These are absolutely different concepts and values, although they have the ability to turn into huge sums of money. For me, both gold and Bitcoin are roughly the same, although Bitcoin is in my priority

They think gold is more secure compared to cryptos including bitcoin and others. This is the main reasoning behind their arguments as far as I know.

I thins we still have to hold some in BTC. Jst remember what happens last time it's start pumping. Also have EOS and Cardano. Think they could do something especial, may be even its will be etherium killer in some years

Besides BTC, I like EOS, NEO and some other blockchain companies like QTUM maybe. But none of them are pormising like ETH. We can also say Waves for the promising ones in addition to ETH.

Nice portfolio. I would swap XVG for either DASH or Monero. Would also consider 1-2% into DECRED, UBIQ or BETR.

I would also include dash and monero in my portfolio. But my main asset wil be ethereum in this case. The predictions and projections are showing that it will hit $3,750 within a year. This would rock the market.

I also missed the opportunity man, there is someone on telegram who said this TRX coin will become high so hard but I ignore it because I think it's fake and only shit information. But now it's really sucks to know it's a real information, lesson learned though.

Its fluctuation was hard to catch up with. Can you imagine that it became $0.2+ within days from almost zero. And the supply was very high for it, not in millions, it was in bllions of circulating supply. I don't know folks.

Re: Does Bitcoin have a future?
by
guesswhat
on 04/01/2018, 22:22:33 UTC
Yes it does. But do not rely too much on bitcoin, do not turn all your money into bitcoin, I think it's too risky. After all, bitcoin is not the official currency, occasionally at risk to close or dismiss, then what will happen to your money if it happens?

Bitcoin has the clearest future, but people don't know much about it. That's the problem behind their accusations about bitcoin. Altcoins have a future as well, but bitcoin is the best one ever, no matter what.

Re: you need to overcome your fear of losing money
by
guesswhat
on 03/01/2018, 21:26:08 UTC
Losing is part of successfully trading. If you treat losing as part of trading then you are an experienced trader.
I agree with you.
if a trader has such a mental then he is a professional trader.
Dare to lose money means Dare to take the decision to get big profits.

I overcame this problem by assuming that I will be the winner at the end. This concentrated me on my trading job and I'm stronger now. Without mental support, it's hard to handle this fear of losing money.

Re: Do you actually understand Ethereum?
by
guesswhat
on 03/01/2018, 20:35:29 UTC
I don’t think that i completely understand the whole thing. You know, mostly it’s complicated and hard to understand whole details. But of course people should do more research & reading before invest in to anyhing.
Thanks for good info  Smiley

Nobody, except crypto experts, understand the whole concept of a given coin or projects. We know only the base things about them. The rest is much more complicated than we can ever guess. This is same for ethereum as well. Complicated to understand it.

Re: Why Stellar is not much better than XRP

I think whether it is decentralized or not does not play a key role in its success in real business world. Being centralized may be better for company.

This is right, I always support decentralized ones, but being centralized works well for the legit companies of real business world. This is valid for ripple in this case. I don't understand why they compare steallar to ripple. They are different.

Re: Transfer My Entire Savings to Cryptocurrencies?
by
guesswhat
on 02/01/2018, 20:29:12 UTC
Don't invest all your saving, I will never do it maybe I am wrong but someone gives me a good piece of advice when I started to invest : don't invest much that you can affort to lose. If you feel pretty confident, I would say 20% of your total is already a very nice amount to invest

Dividing is the best thing in these cases. Investing the all money into one asset is really dangerous and if something bad happens, it would turn into a nightmare for you. Better having portional ratios.

Re: Day trading vs ICO investment vs Altcoin investment
by
guesswhat
on 02/01/2018, 20:16:01 UTC
Some ICO's this year made significant gains, but now there are so many that it's hard to keep track and really figure out the good projects.

But same with just investing to a coins on exchanges, isnt it?

ICO probably has biggest potential return (especially when you are early contributor). But same it probably has biggest risk.

How do you choose ICO? Is a big bonus a good or bad sign? What do you think about continuous bonuses, I saw this many times, where projects offering 50/40/30/20/15 and just a little without bonus, I think it hurts the original price. You?

ICO is the most profitable one if and only if you find the correct project. Othwerwise, it's an intense pain for you. We saw this many times people lost too much money on wrongly decided ICO investments.

by
guesswhat
on 02/01/2018, 20:03:40 UTC
respect my question. i just want to know more about trading and study it for the most reliable and trusted exchanger.

There are many trusted exchanges but they have little problems inside.

Hitbtc is awesome with different tokens but they never answer for the support requests.

Bittrex is also nice but they may suspend accounts without asking or warning.

Binance is also good but they sometimes make interesting decissions. There were no limit orders for example.

Re: Cardano HOLD or SELL
by
guesswhat
on 02/01/2018, 01:12:33 UTC
Hi, I have 650 ADA coin. Its chance to 10$ in 2018? Hold or sell?

If I were you, I would continue to keep my ADA coins in my wallet. ADA is still very new in market. There is still a brighter future for ADA. It is one very influential and powerful coin. As a matter of fact, it was actually outside the radar of so many people here until it suddenly reaches in powerful exchanges such as Bittrex. Not only did it suddenly came to the people attention because of exchanges but also because its pump was too high and yet sustained. There is still growth to this coin for sure in 2018.

650 doesn't make that much and keeping them in your wallet is much more logical than selling. With this way, you get the chance of seeing $2 price in the future, at least. Otherwise $500 doesn't make you rich now.

Take a look at Bitboost.

Re: Buying Drugs with Bitcoin ?
by
guesswhat
on 18/12/2017, 00:02:56 UTC
I also think there are. It is more easy for them, they wont need permit to do so. Easy transactions with those who are illegally selling illegal contrabands. One of the reasons also why there are people who can't be convinced about bitcoin is they have this mentality that bitcoin is being linked to illegal activities.
Some people outside the bitcoin community thinks bitcoin used in illegal activities such as buying drugs and buying weapons by militants. Now it is not a problem related with bitcoin it is the problem belong to criminal minded people. Those who think bitcoin is used in illegal activities you can’t convince them. But you can tell them that’s not our problem at all. This is the duty of government to trace the people who do such things. It will not negative the image of bitcoin community.
Bitcoin is not as anonymous as people think, somebody can easily track you when you try to cash it out

Exactly, FBI is probably following those criminal accounts and they can easily track who is who on blockchain. It's not completely anonymous in btc blockchain. Bitcoin should stay clean, we don't want criminals in it.

I think Bitcoin $20,000 is basically sure now.

What about Ethereum at $15000 though? that seems difficult

Lots of people made very accurate predictions about bitcoin price. Congrats to them. $20,000 won't be that hard I think.

For ether, $15,000 is a hard one. $2,000 would be more realistic.

Re: I'm now a MILLIONAIRE because of NEO.
by
guesswhat
on 30/11/2017, 00:18:47 UTC
Congratulations, this is really wonderful! I unfortunately missed this moment when I left AntShares before re-branding (

In my opinion, it would be better to invest in Ethereum because it is a more coin stable now. NEO is also very well developed, but ETH in my opinion has a stable course. True, it's more expensive but it's really worth it.

NEO's advantage against ETH is the assian market and market regulations happenning there. If assians can't join ico's created on ETH blockchain, they will have to pick NEO and invest NEO based project.

Re: is it risky to turn all my money to bitcoins?
by
guesswhat
on 29/11/2017, 23:50:30 UTC
Hella risky, I would never tho this. What if you need money for emergency situation and BTC has currently crashed and you've lost lets say 20% of your money?

This would result in two cases. In the first case, he would be a rich man after a major bitcoin pump. In the seond case he might have lost his 50% capital and get depressed eventually. Never do this, very risky.
