If Symbiont is both using Counterparty for its main use cases, and funding XCP development with bankster dollars I don't think anyone should be complainin

No, they will use Mastercoin on a permissioned clone of the Doge blockchain which only runs on TI84s.
I had to Google what a TI84 is, but it was worth it.
Symbiont is trolling you all. They will clearly never use XCP on Wall Street. They are going to make a clone called XCP-XT and they will not be mutually usable. That's because Steve Jobs purposely engineered it to be this way. And I said usually. A company with a trillion dollar market cap is not "usual".

Consider that the Overstock news prompted a huge rush, while the current Symbiont developments are far more impressive and as far as I can tell, had barely any effect. I believe eventually it will be possible to pinpoint the exact time everything 'clicks' and perspectives change.
Yeah, pretty ridiculous. An online retailer gets in and there is a 4x jump. Some of the biggest people on wall street get in, nobody cares. There will be a massive jump at some point, but it could be a while. Maybe at the next funding round for Symbiont, maybe smart contracts, maybe when Symbiont opens its doors for business. What a crazy world we live in.
This feels like Franz Kafka "The Castle"...
And looks like XCP will be able to finish smart contracts on mainnet soon, the first milestone of Ethereum is almost released.

Well, Symbiont faith is not 100% ties to XCP, I heard xnova said that their startup consults about blockchain solutions, not specifically about Counterparty.Do people honestly believe this? That a business based on Counterparty, which only exists because of Counterparty, involving all the developers from Counterparty, openly invests in the development of Counterparty with its own new developers, will not use XCP... the only smart contracts on the Bitcoin blockchain and indeed first working platform in the world?
