Re: Do you believe in aliens?

You don't really need to believe in aliens or not actually. You just do calculation about the size of the universe, the numbers of stars and the percentage of possible-life worlds and you get a number. Since this number is huge, it is almost sure that aliens exists anywhere else in the universe and they may not look like what you think of them

Buy Wall V2
by

Hi guys,
I was wondering : if you do an ICO for a coin and sell n coins, each of it for a price x. Then you get listed on an unique exchange and you use 100% of the funds collected during the ICO to put a huge buy wall of n coins at the price x. So every investor can get his money back if he wants and there is a 0% risk. It could attract far more people. Question is, what are you gains in this operation ? Well you could buy yourself on your ICO so you would get a part of your own coin and then sell it for more because the price of your coin cannot be less than x due to the huge buy wall.

What are your thoughts about that ?

I am surprised and I really don't understand why people are so excited about Bitcoin... What is so special about it, why buying Bitcoin instead of more advanced cryptocurrencies 10x better. Makes me think about a bubble...

I don't think that Bitcoin will reach that high. Why would people still use Bitcoin when there are far better cryptos everywhere ?

Yes, I think Bitcoin will eventually crash and let the place for others cryptos far more efficient for the different roles they were created for. Bitcoin is like the very old and very rich grandfather but he will eventually pass out when people will realise that altcoins are far better and that Bitcoin can't fulfill their dreams.

Might grow high and reach the value of bitcoin, we can't deny that it won't happen. Everything happening with bitcoin as well the altcoins were completely unpredictable. Right now along with bitcoin, bitcoin cash keeps on increasing while majority of the altcoins were experiencing fall in value.

About that, does someone have a real explanation ? Why Bitcoin Cash is rising along with Bitcoin ? That's really someting I can't understand

Congrats, it is a very nice app. How can you add new cryptocurrencies on your app ? Is it only based on coinmarketcap API ?

This is why you should have sell your Bitcoins one or two days before the fork to buy altcoins at the lowest price. Fortunately, there is an other hard-fork coming

NEO / IOTA discussion

Hi to everyone,
I am pretty new to cryptocurrencies and I looked for documentation for a long time before buying. Two cryptocurrencies that came out were NEO for its smart-contract coding but with a lot more advantages than Ethereum (volume of transactions, Gas, programming languages) and IOTA for the Tangle and its unlimited potential (some may talk of the blockhain 3.0)

I want to know if you think the same as me about these coins, I invested a lot in those two (lost some on IOTA and earned a lot on NEO). Look at how much they gained today Wink

Maybe it's true but I still don't understant why people are so hyped about Bitcoin whereas there are plenty of better cryptocurrencies, sometimes I can't grab the humain logic

The real question now is Ethereum or NEO ? It seems that NEO have many advantages that Ethereum doesn't have (like more programming languages, transactions number etc...)

It may help to some extent but believe me if you have a big FUD brigade form influential whales that wall can come crashing down in seconds. There is too much corruption and market manipulation in crypto currency trading and icos so prepare for that wall to be smashed by ruthless parties before you see your coin mooning or even attempting a lift off. I have really seen the worst of people's characters come out when it comes to crypto, I mean really gangster cut throat stuff. SORRY If what I said has burst your bubble, I say that from direct experience of launching a coin myself a few years back.

Why would the whales crash the wall, what's the purpose and how can they make money of it ? It means that they would sell their coins to me at the lowest price of the market (because the wall would be the bottom line of the buy orders, no one would put a buy under this value because it would mean that the market would completly crash). it really don't understant where is the interest of doing such things, even in terms of money !

in other words you mean to manipulate the price!
not only you want to do an illegal fund-raising called ICO but also you want to do another illegal thing called manipulating the price. because that is what putting up a buy wall to prevent crash of the market means.

instead of coming up with ways to protect the price with tooth and nail, you should think of ways to protect the price with real development. create something that is really useful like bitcoin, and the price of it will go up on its own with the real demand it gains.

Well I am not sure but I don't think that ICOs are illegal (I'm not living in China or South Korea sorry) and the crypto-market isn't regulated so "manipulating" the price isn't illegal neither. And this could just be a way of justify to people why you do an ICO (to build this wall and make them pay for it Cheesy). You can't just launch a new coin because of this, I know that I need something new for it to go up (maybe not eBTC...)

Yes but here it would be a huge wall because it would have the size of half the market cap (in the beginning) by investing half of the what was raised during the ICO. Maybe it could be more or less 50% of the ICO (just need to do some stats about who hold, what is lost etc...). Did a wall of that size every existed on Bitcoin ?
