Clarification for some of the messages received.  We're looking for someone to provide buy and sell side orders on the exchange to help provide initial liquidity.  As well as zero-fees we'll pay a monthly fee for you providing the services and help (or pay for) integration of any software you have with our exchange.

We're looking for a market maker who can maintain buy and sell side on an exchange for BTC-BCH, BTC-ETH, BCH-ETH pairs.  We'd be looking at $10k equivalent per side open at any point in time and are willing to wave trading fees as well as pay for the provision of the liquidity itself.

If you're interested in this please respond or send me a private message.

[Hiring] Marketing Manager for Exchange and Bank

I'm looking for someone to work with us as a marketing manager for a new cryptocurrency project - we're offering both standard exchange facilities as well as a fully integrated bank account and are currently being licensed in the UK.

Our board includes marketing execs from major companies but we're looking for someone to join the team on a paid basis.  This would be a part-time role initially with potential for it becoming full time at a later date.

We'd be looking for you to suggest the use of a modest marketing budget and how best to deploy that as well as actively executing that policy once agreed.  This could be everything from banner-ad purchases to signature campaigns and social media management.  We'd like to have a good idea of what you have in mind when you discuss it with us.

We've got potential to work with either a salary, pay-by-results, equity or combination of these.

Deck about business: https://drive.google.com/open?id=10dgeFpUGcuGC1N3y6UE_uYVhAh9Y_58W
Explainer video: https://drive.google.com/open?id=19vf7K613r71giNKZMzR3AYX0_6ZJElXU

Main thing here is looking for someone that can tie strategies together, help us form realistic budgets and execute on that plan and manage as required.

You're going to be dealing with small budgets to start with and significantly larger come Q1 2020.

If there's anything I can do to help - happy to do so.  Could host a second explorer and maybe look at a couple of public nodes if that would help.  Could run a pool if that's something that people are looking for but absolutely don't want to step on toes of anybody else already doing that.

Unfortunately I don't have time to commit to dev but if running some services is of help I can throw some infrastructure at it Smiley

Any plans to expand Zapple, make it grow and do advertising? Or can we expect that guytp will also disappear and Zapple be abandoned?
It was a good move, but since then there were not anything new.

I know we've discussed this on e-mail but I wanted to share my response here so that others are aware I haven't disapepared - just not a regular BTCT user.

We’re in the process of a private equity funding round to support our financial services licensing.  We’re currently in the process of obtaining licenses to offer full banking facilities to Zapple customers.  This means that early next year (Q1/Q2) we’ll be able to issue each customer with bank accounts and debit cards tied to them.  Shortly after (late 2019) we’ll have the debit cards tied directly to floating crypto balance so you won’t even need to cash-out in order to spend your crypto.  That means crypto can be spent at anywhere that accepts Mastercard and withdrawn from any ATM as cash.  Our push for customers and volume has always been due to come inline with this.  We’re also in the process of a partnership with another company that will drive volume to the platform – again we’re looking at this coming online around Q1 time.

I’ve attached a copy of our pitch deck and prospectus that give more information about our future plans.

Everything I’ve said in this e-mail you are welcome to share if you want to with others – and I hope this gives an indication of where we’re moving at the moment.

Are they already slowly dumping the coins on Zapple? If so, they might be the ones who sold 2 times 100 k at 70 sat...

We've seen nothing to support this from looking through the data.  We obviously can't reveal customers behind trades but the pattern is not that of institutional dumping.

I wish Zapple was open to those of us in the US to do this!
Seriously? Why is it not open for US people? Geographic restrictions should be a thing of the past, this is disappointing... Is it a marketing strategy to earn some reputation before opening to so many potential customers?

We are now accepting sign-ups from USA.

Maybe you can submit it Guytp, since you have the API details for the criteria "Must be on a public exchange with an API that reports the last traded price and the last 24 hour trading volume."?

Already been in contact with them.  They have stated that they base which exchanges they list based on their user-demand so I'd suggest everyone that wants to see Zapple on there to submit it to CMC.  We've already provided all API details.

Who are you? when you were talking with John. proofs?

JC never spoke with me - infact generally got ignored.  I spoke with xCore on IRC and he submitted patches on my behalf as he was only person JC would talk to.  I don't have proof of relevance but here's a post in originally Vanillacoin thread https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=977245.msg11954482#msg11954482 and

I am a UK-based software developer.  I'm also a co-founder of the Smart Investment Fund ICO that launched in September 2017 (we have our own proprietary AI-based trading algorithms and trade crypto and forex).  My LinkedIn is https://www.linkedin.com/in/guytp/ and if you really care you can watch my YouTube channel at https://youtube.com/GuyRobotTV

We have now listed XVC on the Zapple exchange at https://zapple.com. We were approached by the community last week and decided to list the coin. Trading fees are 0.2% for takers and 0.1% for makers.

Zapple is a fairly new EU-based exchange. We're currently based in the UK but in the process of obtaining financial services licenses in Estonia to cover both cryptocurrency exchange and fiat money-in/money-out. We'll be adding fiat money-in/money-out by December and debit cards tied to crypto balances in Q1 2019.

I was personally happy to list XVC. I was an early user when it first came out (I even had a code patch accepted at the time, although not directly via JC as he didn't seem to like other people's code...) and held quite a lot of XVC at one point. It's sad to see where a lot of things have happened with it are but I always liked the project and hope that Zapple can help the community a little since the delisting at Poloniex.

If you've got any questions, or issues, feel free to contact me here - I'll keep an eye on the chat for next few days. If I don't answer though just raise a support ticket from Zapple and someone will get back to you within a few hours.

Thanks!

Hi folks,

We've contacted CMC and Cryptoid re: using our data.  I think it's a catch-22 with insufficient volume to garner dev interest from their side.  If we hear back I'll update here.

Regards US Citizens frankly we don't want to get sucked in to FATCA reporting requirements.  We're doing Zapple "properly" rather than just creating a quick exchange.  This means there are regulatory requirements for us to comply with (sadly as well as tech moving on since 2015 so have regulations).

We're currently going through a process to obtain a cryptocurrency exchange license in Estonia.  We're also, in parallel, working on obtaining EMI license so that we can accept fiat funds.  More than that we'll be able to issue debit cards and offer full banking facilities for customers.  We're looking at December 2018 for accepting fiat and Q2 2019 for debit cards and full banking facilities.  Shortly after that we should also be able to fofer debit card that takes live balance based on your crypto-holdings without even needing to "cash-out" to EUR/USD first.  We'll initially be offering accounts in EUR/GBP and hoping to expand to USD and SE Asia currencies in late 2019.

There's a lot going on.  All of this means we need to comply completely with legal requirements and right now we're taking a "no US Citizens" approach to reduce our risk until we've worked out a reporting system that's compliant.  The good news is we intend to offer it, the bad news is we're not right now.

All the above should prove a big draw for Zapple.  We'll also be looking for market makers to provide liquidity across pairs who will receive no-fee trades and potentially even be paid for providing the liquidity (if you're interested, message me).

Our current focus isn't on promoting the exchange but growing the technology, business, licensing and regulatory requirements so that we can move Zapple into a multi-asset bank over the next few years.  Hopefully that gives some hope as to the future.

If anyone does want to help Zapple with promotion at the moment or is interested in working with us in a market/promotion context please drop me a message.  We're working flat-out on delivering everything else but if right person wants to help we could look at doing that sooner than later.

Part of our full banking suite of services will provide both "banking" and "exchange" services.  You'll have a separate balance for each.  The banking side will include a full wallet to store user funds in.  RIC will be one of these for a web wallet and we'll allow users to have their own keys to access this at some point (this won't be until next year though).

If a faucet/explorer/wallet/etc. need hosting we could support this as I'm personally happy to see RIC grow.  We have node and hosting capacity so it is something we could support if needed.

A number of issues were reported after LTZBTC was added to Zapple including:
 - Data would not refresh on dashboard
 - Paging would stop working on many of the dashboard grids
 - LTZBTC chart was not visible

These issues have now been resolved.  If you do have any problems please let us know.

Wait a sec - now it worked, but only after doing other actions.  weird!

Let me know if it pops up again Smiley

For anybody interested we're currently progressing our financial services license.  Whilst this won't really make any difference to RIC it should hopefully give the community a bit more of a sense of comfort and trust in us once this has completed as our technology and security systems are part of what must comfort to a certain standard before licensing can be completed.  We'll be bringing fiat deposits/withdrawals around the same time.

Do you have an API available?

You asked about APIs for market making a couple of weeks ago.  We've now added a way to do this into Zapple without needing to authenticate with your username and password and by restriction API keys to specific roles as you requested.  We've still not got formal docs for API written up but the below should help to give you enough for a market making bot.  Excuse the lack of formatting in the post - wanted to get something up before I get to bed today.

First login to Zapple, go to Settings and click on Manage API Keys.  Give it a name and an optional expiry.  For roles if you want the bot to be able to get balances you want "Account Info", to access information about trades (history, open trades, etc.) check "Trade History" and to open and close trades you want "Trading".  Click "Add" and you'll be given a long secret string.  Keep this safe.

For you bot to login it must make a PUT to https://zapple.com/api/auth/1/api-keys/authenticate

The body should be JSON object as below.

{
  "Username": "Your Username",
  "Key": "What You Got Above",
  "ApplicationName": "Name Of Your Bot Software - Can Be Anything"
}

You will get a response back which includes a few pieces of information.  The main one is "JsonWebToken".  You need this to authenticate against other methods.

For every other request you need to use this JsonWebToken (JWT) to authenticate.  To do so add the header:

Authorization: BEARAR YourJwtHere

Replacing YourJwtHere with what you got in the authenticate step.

Every 15 minutes the token you just got given will time out.  You can either log back in when you get a 401 or after 10 minutes or thereabout call a GET to https://zapple.com/api/auth/1/renew including the authorization header.  You'll get a new response back of the same format as authenticate but with a newly extended JWT valid for another 15 minutes.

You can test these methods out with a UI at: https://lts-api.com/dev/auth/1/_md/index#/ApiKey

You can view a list of all possible exchange API methods at https://zapple.io/exchange/1/_md/.  You authenticate against these in the same way - with the Authorization header.

The main methods you care about will be these below.  You can see example calls and full data returned at the above URL.

Get a list of balances: GET https://zapple.io/exchange/1/balances

Get the order-book for RICBTC: GET https://zapple.io/exchange/1/order-book/RICBTC

Get recent trades for RICBTC: GET https://zapple.io/exchange/1/trades/RICBTC

Get full details for one of your orders: GET https://zapple.io/exchange/1/orders/YourOrderId

Createa a new order: POST https://zapple.io/exchange/1/orders/NewOrderId
   The NewOrderId should be a UUID that you generate
   The body is as follows:
{
  "InstrumentId": 6,
  "QuantityOrdered": XXX,
  "Side": "Buy or Sell",
  "LimitPrice": XXX or null
}

Cancel an open order: DELETE https://zapple.io/exchange/1/orders/YourOrderId

Get a list of all orders you have open: GET https://zapple.io/exchange/1/orders?instrument=RICBTC
