Re: PhoenixMiner 5.7b: fastest Ethereum/Ethash miner with lowest devfee (Win/Linux)

{The  new  version  is  finally  ready.  You  can  download  PhoenixMiner  5.8a  from  here:

Changes in version 5.8a :
  • LHR disable mode -lhrdis <n>  1 - yes (default), 0 - no
  • Added lock core clock
  • Fixed an issue causing crashing with some RTX 3060/3080/3090 cards
  • Implemented new "turbo" kernels (-clkernel 3) for AMD Polaris cards that can work with the current DAG sizes over 4 GB. Note that -clkernel 3 uses double the VRAM and will
provide slightly faster hashrate with slightly higher power consumption. You can use the -rvram command-line parameter to specify how much VRAM to be left unused
  • Increased the maximum supported DAG epoch to 600 (i.e. until about Sep 2023)
  • Implemented full hardware control for AMD RX6900/6800/6700 cards under Linux. Note that with these cards under Linux you need to specify relative core voltage: e.g. -
cclock -50 will set the core voltage to be 50 mV under the default value
  • Added ROCr kernels for Vega, Radeon VII and Navi cards. With these kernels you will be able to run these cards with Linux drivers 20.45 and later but the performance will
be lower than with the older PAL drivers and kernels. We recommend using AMD Linux driver 20.30 for all cards except RX6900/6800/6700
  • Fixed an issue causing crashing with some RX6900/6800/6700 cards under Linux (there is no need to run these cards with -clkernel 0 anymore)
  • Added support for AMD Windows drivers up to 21.8.1. Note that Radeon VII cards will not work with drivers 21.6.1 or higher - you need to use older drivers for proper
    operation of these cards
  • Added support for AMD Linux drivers up to 21.20 (use older drivers for Vega or Radeon VII cards as they will not work with 21.20). Note that the latest 21.30 drivers are
not supported (and the initial testing shows that even the older Polars cards are not working properly with them, so avoid 21.30 for now)
  • Numerous other fixes and small improvements

Please let us know if you have any problems or questions related to PhoenixMiner 5.8a}

NEW SCAM, dont use it!

Re: The 470 driver thing still works?

Here I have uploaded driver that works perfect for RTX3060, 45MH/sec continuous with 100 watts and +1000MHz memory.

470.05 version.

https://www.filehosting.org/file/details/956882/470.05%20for%20RTX3060.rar
Is the hdmi dummy plug a must? Or the driver Version is just enough to get this card working? Also I'm not so sure if this works on 3070 GPUs or do they? Can you pls confirm?

I don't know, I use this RTX3060 card in my personal computer with monitor connected on Display Port. It mines continuous, even I use it for gaming and internet browsing or watching movies (general use PC).

Re: Need help in managing the cables in Corsair RM1000X for mining with 5 GPUs
by

Hi Guys,

I just got a used Corsair RM1000X PSU and planning to mine with 5 GPUs(1060 6GB, 1070 8GB, 1660 ti, 2 x Rx580). I am currently mining with these 5 cards in two different PCs and I wanted to make it as one with the help of RM1000X PSU.

By browsing the internet I can see that powering the risers with SATA is not a good idea as it can burn out any time. So I wanted to make use of 6 pin connector to power the riser. Need suggestion from experts on how to manage these five cards with the RM1000X PSU.

Thanks in advance.

I recommend to use just one s-ata connector for just one graphic card riser, so 6 s-ata connectors for 6 risers (50-75 watts from each connector).

This motherboard is a very good one! Use alternate white and black PCI-E 1X connectors from it, I use it with Pentium G4560, rock solid!
Intel LAN chipset offers minimum latency, (much lower latency than Realtek or other shits) and minimum invalid shares from all motherboards that I owned/used.

With 8 cards installed, I never used extra power supply for 2 molex connectors on motherboard, and never had any problems.

Re: Question about riser power cables

Try as much as possible to avoid any s-ata adapter or even molex adapter connection for powering up risers! Sooner or later, it will melted.
S-ata powers are good until around 25watts consumption (for biggest hard disk), but PCI-e adapter can consume more than 80 watts when delivering 75 watts to graphic card.
The best riser power supply connection, is directly PCI-E 6 pin connector plugged into it.
