Re: ECONOMIC ANALYSIS/RESEARCH POLL: Cryptocurrency replacing fiat in the future?

I have voted option first because i think governments have to accept crypto currency as people are mostly in demand of it rather than fiat and of course it shall happen in near future

Re: Philippines starting to accept and adopt cryptocurrency.
by

In philippines there were already some licensed crypto currency exchanges, wallets and other platforms dealing with crypto.
It is good to know more governments are allowing their people to adopt crypto without any severeness, this act will also encourage other governments towards crypto adoption

Re: CAN RIPPLE STILL MAKE YOU A MILLIONAIRE IN 2018??
by
h0lybyte
on 20/10/2018, 03:23:03 UTC
So in todays topic is ripple can ripple still make you a
millionaire in 2018. Well in 2017 if you bought at the
beginning in 2017 at half a cent you woulda become a
millionaire with only a couple thousand dollars at the end of
2017! Watch the video for my thoughts and price prediction!
https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=i4im__n1msc&fulldescription=1&client=mv-google&gl=NG&hl=en

Ripple has no potential to make you millionaire ever but no doubt it can make you loser of million dollars.
I don't see any reasons why we should invest in ripple, instead of putting your money in risk with ripple, imvest in usdt so that you will not lose atleast if there are no gains

Re: Contract Address Changed What am I gonna do now?

Hi! I have a question but first Im gonna tell you my situation. So here,

I received a token long before it was listed in an exchange. Few months later I checked  the token on Myetherwallet (MEW) and it said that the contract address was changed or has been updated.

Does it mean that I cannot use those tokens with the previous contract address?

Same has happened with me before, it usually happens when they feel someone cheating with their distributions.
Tokens get useless forever if developers change contract address, there is no way to make them useable.
The only way to do it is to ask for help in their official tepegram group so that they can replace your tokens with new ones

Re: Can Bitcoin and FIAT co-exist? What will be the advantages then?
by
h0lybyte
on 20/10/2018, 02:11:36 UTC
FIAT money is our daily currency which has been existing here for hundreds of years, when crypto currencies like Bitcoin is squeezing their way up to become a world currency and sort. Can they co-exist? If so then what benefits we can get from them, altogether? Not separately.

Of course bitcoin and fiat can co-exist and both will have separate means in real world economy.
Lets say bitcoin can be used in businesses to transact globally without limitations and with fiat we will count and give value to bitcoin in market. Without fiat we couldn't give value to any coin/asset in our daily life

Re: If we all live in a virtual world, will bitcoin become its official currency?
by
h0lybyte
on 20/10/2018, 01:48:31 UTC
Bitcoin is already utilized more than any other coins in the world, it may become global currency in condition if governments regularize its use in respective countries.
Also, some altcoins like ethereum, usdt may live longer or forever but there are almost shitcoins with no future means

Re: I lost 80% of my bitcoins in alts, What can I do now?!
by
h0lybyte
on 19/10/2018, 13:55:48 UTC
Hey there

In june & July I bought Digibyte & Stratis & Siacoin with all my bitcoins, till now I lost almost 80%

What can I do, HOLD or Sell or What!

Being success in every trade is not child's game, you must have experience and perfect assessment so that you can know when to buy and when to sell.
If you often lose in altcoins, i advice you just to buy and hold either bitcoin ot ethereum. Both coins are strong and will never go down like altcoins

Re: 99 Percent of Cryptocurrencies are Worth Zero? What the hell?
by

It is most true that 99% of crypto currencies are worth none, the only manageable coins in the whole market are bitcoin, ethereum and USDT.
These are the only coins that will be acceptable for trades in future, Except these three major coins all have brief and worst future. Some coins crash soon after getting listed on exchange

You can advertise any bitcoin  related games/projects within this forum to expect it to be viewed thousands of members everyday.
There are two methods you can use to spread your project, the social media bounty and signature campaigm. Both are effective for advertising purpose

Infact, more and more people are getting to use bitcoin everyday, this can be estimated how fast bitcoin is attracting new people by looking into bitcoin history.
In 2017 15 million bitcoins were total and now more than 17.3 are in hands of people

Re: China: Man Sentenced to Prison for Stealing Railway Electricity to Mine Bitcoin
by
h0lybyte
on 19/10/2018, 01:58:49 UTC
He mined 3.2BTC worth 120 000 yuan using electricity worth 104 000 yuan as The Paper reports.
I think this is common practice in many countries, I've used to live a man who was stealing power for his household use, wires were visible in the corridor but no one cared  Sad We can only wonder what's happening in datacenters, powerplants etc. when there is such simple way to convert electricity and computing power into money.

Yeah, of course people pften become careless and put themselves in risk when there is money but i am wondering how could he mine this amount of BTC when difficulty is increased to a lot of extreme ?
Which hardware and how much timenhas he been using for this process ?

Re: When margin trading; Keep your coins on exchange overnight, or withdraw?
by
h0lybyte
on 18/10/2018, 13:07:35 UTC
Hi,
I'm attempting some margin trading on an exchange for a few days, I'm wandering what the best practice is when you decide to go to bed.
Should you leave the coins on the exchange, or pay the fees to withdraw to an external wallet and then move them back in the morning?
Thanks.

Moving your coins everday before going to bed will charge you on each transaction and if you count fee for a month, it sums really decent amount.
Sometimes it is bettee to keep your coins on exchange unless you are not planning to come back tomorrow because spemdimg $3-$5 everyday on withdrawals matters
