Everyone warned about those kinda of websites... No wonder outsourced creation of vanity addresses handled incorrectly can can issues...

If you have proof that they stole the funds themselves you should post something on scam accusations.

https://blockchain.info/address/1ERickJ7a2NHm5xKpBKehheNbEK8WYKLa4

The two most recent transactions. I don't have proof anymore the e-mail I received is gone, just trying to get the word out.

I wouldn't be suprised if bitcoinvanitygen.com was the same owner and will start doing the same thing anytime now.

The owner of bitcoinvanitygen is clearly this guy.

Can someone dox him?

Like it's pointed here look at signature!

Re: BTCjam - Any Thoughts or Experiances
by

And why doesn't btcjam have a forum like this where members can discuss this stuff?

Why no direct link to social media connections?

Why don't you update ebay feedback and create a direct link to ebay?

And why don't you create loans with collateral as an option?

1. We're not that interested in having a forum at this time. Primarily working to develop other features at the moment.

2. Privacy laws.

3. Regarding the update, we do get these things on the backend but we lock numbers for many reasons. Direct link falls under privacy laws as well.

4. Collateral is a lot tougher than you may assume, it's a really tough model. One thing immediately that comes to mind is that some loans might have hundreds of investors. Working that many investors around a piece of collateral is tricky. Also - this model has proven to have success (lendingclub + prosper).. I think we can find ways to strengthen the business and returns without having to move to collateral based loans.

1. I understand you can't do all at the same time but I see a severe lack of communication between staff and investors which leads to frustration. Recently some loans received a lot of comments and most are from confused investors not knowing what happened and staff never shows to explain. I guess you'll point me to the support e-mail (which I don't use often because I sense it must be overloaded) but investor keep saying they are not getting answers from staff. More and better communication between staff and lenders would benefit all and if you don't want a forum now at least please comment on the most controversial loans.

2. If borrowers agree to share in order to get a loan would that violate any law?

4. Collateral would have to be sold to the highest bidder.

For a small tip i can show you where you get card+ sim REALLY cheap. Also high amounts if you want to resell them. Wink

Why don't you buy the cards and sell them here for profit?

Do the cards really have a cz account that can be converted to IBAN?

Re: BEWARE AMAZON using Gift Cards
by

Its Very Risky To Buy Amazon Cards Unless The Seller Is A Trusted One.

Or unless you can hold your btc on escrow until you have the amazon goods in your hands.

After that you only have to deal with the risk of gc being carded but with a copy of the cash receipt that shouldn't be a problem.

carded you mean credit card fraud?

If you can prove you have nothing to do with it worst case scenario you get your items seized and it's a very remote chance.

How can you possibly know if I copied this? For your information, no I haven't copied it from anywhere.

Maybe stealing intelectual property is normal in your world but not in real world.

So by following your logic if I'm a musician I can use anybody's tracks/music and paste it to my own album because the real authors are selling the same music? Seriously?

His competition has nothing to do with this. EOT for my side.

You know what? You are absolutely right!

You wrote a fabulous masterpiece comparable to Game of Thrones and therefore it should be protected by copyright.

Copy - pasting somebody's work is plain stealing, how can you argue with this? He didn't even care to rewrite any parts.

You also copied 99% of it from the bank or somewhere else!!

He's selling the same stuff you do so it's normal.

You seem to worried with competition. I hope you're right  Grin

- topping up prepaid phone SIM cards
- load the card with money and give to someone. The next person will become a legal owner since the cards are transferable.

Single transaction limit (for spending with the card): 1300 USD / 1000 EUR / 800 GBP / 4000 PLN
Total that can be loaded within one year: 3500 USD / 2500 EUR / 2100 GBP / 10000 PLN
Maximum balance (also maximum amount of loading transfer): 3500 USD / 2500 EUR / 2100 GBP / 10000 PLN
Daily ATM withdrawal limit: 200 USD / 150 EUR / 130 GBP / 500 PLN

You stole my product description man. If you start from stealing how you're going to end?

That seems a very generic description not worth a fight or a stealing accusation.

It's not like you wrote a masterpiece with copyright.

Competition is good for the buyers. Let's hope this new guy can deliver a good service like you do or even better.

Offering to solve the problem of limited cards is a huge feature. Let's see if he can live to that expectation.

Re: [WTB] Ledger bitcoin wallet. ( Hardware wallet ).
by
h4nn1b41
on 23/08/2015, 20:58:01 UTC
The thing is that someone could possibly modify the hardware/software within the hardware wallet in a way that would allow whoever sold you the hardware wallet to know in advance which seed it will generate, or otherwise leak the private keys.

The software must be easy to check. But the hardware attack is an interesting problem.

Do you know any case of an hardware attack?

I think all hardware wallets are much too new to trust with large amounts of money. They have not been thoroughly tested against various attacks.

I guess most of the time these things are meant to be unplugged so the risk of an attack should be very low.

As far as I understand they don't have IBAN like the polish cards.

But are interesting nonetheless and would be cool to have someone selling them for a good price.
