Re: [ANN][ELI] Elicoin (CPU mining only) EXCHANGE AVAILABLE!
by
habeas_corpus

Is there a way to reduce the CPU usage?  I'd prefer not to have it running at 100% all the time.

you can adjust the number of threads used by adding "-t" and your desired amount of threads used in your batch file.

So if you have a four core CPU with hyperthreading but you only wanna use 4 threads on the miner it should look like this: -t 4

Your best bet is to try a few different settings to see what works best.
Hyperthreading doesn't always work on all miner programs, so you might want to go with -t 3

You can always do two separate bat files.  One for when you are using the computer and one for when you don't, providing you want to leave your computer on to mine.

This is kind of annoying that no one knows when everyone will be able to mine.. From their website the answer to when can I start mining is "You won't be able to mine right away, as we roll out our main net. You may be able to do so by Sunday or Monday. " .. Sunday or Monday great answer...

Wahhh wahhh wahhhh... What a whiner....

Here's a novel idea.  Why don't you "wait" until the devs "announce" that mining is available.

I know... I know... That's the "logical" thing to do.  You would rather whine, in hopes that "whining" will somehow magically fix everything and mining will start right away so that "you" can mine.   Sounds rather arrogant to me.
Me... me... me... me... me...

So many selfish people in these groups, only thinking about themselves, demanding instant gratification.

Lol yea just ignore that troll. He doesn't speak english. Don't understand his chinese google translate.

You need a solid exchange to ease trade between people. Keep in mind the dev team has only a small .6% of the supply. Possitive price action will naturally facilitate future development. Projects like this take time to grow. I like the vision of the team since I firmly believe https will be phased out in the near future.

I just about fell off my chair reading the first part of this message. Cheesy

But sadly... I don't think you will find his chinese by Google translate.  Better to try Google shitslate.  You might get better results.

Dev's primarily job is coding not pumping his coin.
Dev please ignore any FUD.
Take care

make real achievement and put trust from people with your coins also can pump its price in the market. what do you expected from "pumping coin" terms? buy in high price in the market? oh, come on... that's cheating.

what dev's do is to attract attention from people to use their coins. first of all, big supply of coins make it worthless as a new coin. admit it.

second of all, how you can make people or market will use or accept your coin if it is worthless?

third of all, it is up to dev for the future of their coins.

all of us except newbies already seen so many coins abandoned by its devs and community. release it, then leave it because it is worthless. just prepare yourself guys. this coin is on the way to one satoshi. the dev may mark it as a failed project then leave it and make the new one just like the last one. they may, and they are able to do it. just wait and see ...
Let me just ask you one question. Do you like scams? From what I read in your posts, that's exactly what you want from Stellite. Well, guess what! This is not a scamcoin and we will not artificially increase the price. We are here to innovate. If the free market decides that this innovation isn't needed, let it be! If you are only here to make money, I'm sorry but that is not our goal.

well dev, you just quoted my post about "make real achievement and put trust from people with your coins also can pump its price in the market. what do you expected from "pumping coin" terms? buy in high price in the market? oh, come on... that's cheating."

i am clearly mentioned buy in high price in the market is cheating! then why did you told me that i want a scam? well, do you feel like to be a scamcoin developer? to be honest, you just quoted the post with wrong replies. are you feeling busted or what?

i clearly mentioned to NOT DOING SCAM but you quoted and said "This is not a scamcoin"
your act left me a big question mark, dev!

Dude wtf are you even saying? I can't undestand your english lmao. Get out of here you troll. The dev has been doing a great job thus far. Communication has been excellent, nobody has time for you crying. You're making yourself look like a fool expecting  a coin that is A FEW WEEKS OLD (you damn dense tard) to have a steady growing price.

1) Stop beggining
2) You should never use terms such as "pump" for growth you troll
3) Learn english a bit better xD

you understand. you just pretend that you are don't understand because youre just turn into a hater. you even more hate me when i said i got 87kh and skipped my posts and reply only with one big line, which is ENGLISH. your english not even better and that's why you don't understand.

oh, in fact. only you who complained about ENGLISH, where the others still able to communicate with my HORRIBLE english. i don;t know if it is because you a hundred percent do not understand (my) english or hate my 87kh. or maybe it originally your personality as a hatred

yeah, sister. let us see how this A FEW WEEKS OLD (you damn dense tard) to have a steady growing price.

Show me your 87kh/s farm I'll show you screenshots of mines. You moron no need to lie ahahaha.

and then what? you will start nice with me and pretend that everything was just mistaken? will say that my english is better and start begging to send you cheap cards from asia? get those damn fishy mind out from your head, sister! get someone else to deal with it. whatever you saying, you may call me moron. your trick is useless. you f* western people will nice to asian people only if you need something from us.

well, wish you are not a western.

my first language isn't english, not even fourth. so what you expected? being a fluently english speaker like you do? youre not lucky enough if your first language is english. or perhaps you only know english and only speak english in your entire life. for me, got five daily languages and english not even my fourth. so, if you are a native english speaker and think that youre smart enough just because your english is better than me, then think again i got five daily languages and english not even my fourth. youre just a miner and a jobless in a real world. deal with it.

5 daily languages:
1. your native language
2. bullshit
3. butthurt
4. troll
5. english

Yup... that's 5 Tongue

what you expected anyway? be like you with first or second language is english? so everyday you eat shitlish then. your native probably shitlish. everyday you talking about bullshits in shitlish. trolling with shitlish. cursing with shitlish everyday you got butthurt. your daily life is full of shitlish, and look... you speak shit with english only, and what you know for your daily life is only speak shitlish and nothing more. now, you are here quoted my post in shitelite thread. an elite shit. eat that shit you shitlish eater. lol  Grin

“One Trillion Turtles: Coin Supply and Unit Economics” @_turtlecoin https://medium.com/@turtlecoin/one-trillion-turtles-coin-supply-and-unit-economics-5bfbea0aa1f1

The highlight from that article, remove the decimal places from these coins and this is how many units there are of each coin.

Code:
TRTL:               100,000,000,000,000

BTC:              2,100,000,000,000,000

IOTA:             2,779,530,283,277,761

LTC:               8,400,000,000,000,000

ETH: 97,879,990,190,000,000,000,000,000

1 Trillion + 2 decimals is less than 21 Million + 8 decimals.
I can do 2 decimal math in my head, 8 decimals, not so much...

1 Trillion sounds big compared to 21million, as soon as you remove the decimal and focus on actual units, it turns out to be less.

That's easy for YOU to say...  I mean... That requires actually using your brain and doing simple math.
The crypto world is inundated with low IQ miners and/or investors.  Simple math simply does not compute.

I'm afraid numerical scales are not unversal.
For my understanding as I learned at school:
1,000,000 = 1 million
1,000,000,000,000 = 1 billion (or a million of millions)
1,000,000,000,000,000,000 = 1 trillion (or a million of -previous- billions)
... and so on.

so, I think we better state numbers instead of words :-)

Cheers,

Ummmmmm  NO.....

Numerical scales are in fact UNIVERSAL....

I don't know what planet you went to school on, but here on Earth....

1 million is always 1,000,000 or 1.000.000
1 billion is always 1,000,000,000 or 1.000.000.000
1 trillion is always 1,000,000,000,000 or 1.000.000.000.000

Some places use a .(period) instead of a ,(comma) but ALL places use the same number of 0(zeros)

But hey.... If you can get a bank to give you 1billion(1,000,000,000,000) instead of 1billion (1,000,000,000) let me know, I'm sure I can rally enough investors to get in on that gold mine.

In essence, those in the know have a massive head start on the plebs.

And this shitcoin has been trading for a while on that dodgy exchange.

1 Trillion coins as well.

And 140,667,505.57 TRTL waiting to be dumped on that scam exchange.

No thanks.

Enjoy conning the noobs.

The 1 Trillion thing isn't really a thing, and it's a lot fewer than most other coins (given our decimal arrangement).

TradeOgre seemed okay the single time i've used it to buy some TRTL.  There is nothing yet to indicate that they are dodgy (people get their coins in/out no problem), just fairly new.

We're not conning anyone, you buy/sell/mine what you like we're not here to tell anyone to do anything.

The problem that the crypto world is now facing is that many of the people coming in feel "entitled".
Mining this coin or any other coin is a "choice".  You mine it/buy it or you don't.
Most of the new people coming in, it is like... I mine it/ buy it, means you owe me something for getting involved.
Even the ones that simply read some posts, but don't get involved, feel it is their duty to tell the world that you and your coin somehow hurt their feelings.

Smart people like you and I, check out a coin forum and decide... we like it and stay or we don't like it and leave.
Losers... Well.... They have to make sure EVERYONE knows they don't like the coin.  And they will stick around and post over and over again, just to make sure enough people know how they feel.

We've gone from reality tv to reality altcoin forums.

You sound butthurt ...
You upset because you are not worthy enough to have been "in the know"?

So the coin was started somewhere else first...  Cry me a river.

Why do you losers ALWAYS feel the need to post negative comments?

You come in, you read... You don't like what you see, you leave.  It really is that easy.

Instead, you losers always stick around and resort to whining and bitching.
It really shows your level of intelligence.

I'm not too convinced about this coin. There's like a glaring bug every day. People can't even synch the blockchain lol.

With all their developers you'd think they had something simple and fundamental as getting a blockchain sync to work 100 percent

You are more than welcome to walk away and mine another coin.

10k reward in first unknown number of blocks which gives early miners so many coins. which is unfair as they also had lowdifficulty to start with

~16.360.000 IPBC were premined aka first 1636 blocks were 10.000 IPBC each aka "// Sorry. My bad."

Yeah...no. Early miners got a higher reward than they should have for less than 24 hours because of an initial error in the coin config. That's not a premine. The extra rewards were spread among all of the early miners, a premine goes right into the Devs' wallets. Big difference.

We all get that you weren't one of those early miners and that you're bitter about it, but stop with the trolling and FUD.

this is not trolling nor fud. I have been mining. In first few pages. dev said the 10k blocks that pool mined were a 'bug' and those pools need to update. And yet, they continue on the same chain which dev said was a 'bug' to give out 10k blocks. But if you're going to mask your lies by calling everything trolling and fud. I am going to stay away from this project and will ask everyone else do the same.

Funny, I wasn't even replying to you yet you seem to take it very personally. Calling it a "premine", which is the post I replied to, is FUD plain and simple by any normal definition of what a premine is.

As for "my lies" and the rest of your reply, I have no connection to the project at all. Go ahead and show me where anything I posted is factually incorrect.

There was an error made in the coin config. It resulted in 10K rewards for blocks mined in the first day of mining. The error was fixed within 24 hours of mining starting, and the pools were made aware that they needed to update. This affected approximately 1.6% of all coins to be mined, leaving 98.4% unaffected. Those are the facts.

there is no such thing as error resulting in a block reward giving 10k for 24 hours. I am sure it was as intentional as it was left out of the discussion of this thread. 1.8% of supply instamined by miners will be dumped on the investors the first day it hits the exchange. It would be nice if the information was written on the first thread. So we would know this coin has been instamined due to 'error'. But don't bother replying to this. This is an exercise in futility as the coin is already weeks old.

There is no such thing as an error like that? Do you even understand programming and coin configs? Yet you are "sure" that it was intentional without providing any evidence of the sort. It seems you also don't know the definition of instamine, all coins have a low diff in the beginning, this is not an "instamine". Is your user name ironic?

Not true. how can you have such a mistake that the block rewards for first x blocks are 10k per block? They are simply exlpained in the coin configs defined in main.cpp or main.h file(I am assuming the coin is written in c++ like the litecoin and bitcoin etc). Computers are not humans making mistakes. They follow simple instructions.

Having 470 coins per block, but 10k coins in the starting blocks is THE definition of an instamine.

I'm replying again... only because "stupid people", like you, are a pet peeve of mine.

Maybe... just maybe, if you were to actually read past posts, you would know the circumstances of what transpired.
I know what happened, because "I" read the posts.

So let me explain it to you, oh stupid/lazy one...
Someone noticed that with 10k reward, the total supply would end up being 10 billion instead of 1 billion.
That person posted his concern and the dev quickly made a "correction" to the code, which resulted in the lower block reward we have now.

So... "Your assertion" that the coin was insta-mined is false.

Your arguments are not supported by facts, so go away!

Well... Your posts beg to be commented on.

Here's the thing... We live in a free world, where people have "choices".

If you feel the coin has been "premined/instamined", you have a "choice", you can choose NOT to get involved with the project.
NO ONE is forcing you to mine this coin.

It's simple really.... You don't like the "premine/instamine" leave.  No one is stopping you.

Instead of exercising your right to leave a project you deem not right for you, you decide to stay and whine... I mean, post "your" dissatisfaction with how "you feel" things are not fair.

Seriously... That sounds awfully childish to me.

I don't like what is happening... I should just leave, but... They make me angry and I want "everyone" to know I'm angry. <<< temper tantrum.

And yet, they continue on the same chain which dev said was a 'bug' to give out 10k blocks. But if you're going to mask your lies by calling everything trolling and fud. I am going to stay away from this project and will ask everyone else do the same.

Please do stay away from this project.  It might be a good idea for you to stay away from ALL projects, as you can't handle "bugs" that might benefit others and not you.

I can GUARANTEE, that if YOU were one of the early miners that got the 10,000/block reward.  YOU would be sitting back saying NOTHING!!!!
You are butthurt because you were not one of the lucky miners.

Shit happens... You have shown that you can't handle being a part of the "volatile" crypto world, so leave.

I think the dev should do something to fix the impacts from the 10000 bounty bug.

This bug have given large amount of profits to early miners, however, the mining difficult now is about 40x than before. Ignoring these impacts is not a good solution.

If you were one of the early miners, you would not have made this post.
The fact that you have made this post, shows that you are nothing more than a self entitled whiner..

It's not fair... They got lots of coins and I didn't... wahhh wahhh wahhh

Shit happens.. If you can't handle that, then you shouldn't be mining crypto coins.

How about plan for exchange listings, dev? Cryptonight is likely hard to be accepted by exchanges, so you have to work hard to bring this one to exchange.

Currently it seems all types of coin / tokens are very difficult to get into the exchange (too many coins/token in circulations), and each exchange sometimes requires some fees before it can get listed. The plan of course depends on the owner of the coin later, eg. creating the donations for exchange fees etc.

Unfortunately... Most of the people asking about exchanges are too stupid to understand what you just wrote.

That's it.  They don't posses the intelligence/understanding that most of have.
We understand it takes time to develop a good and stable wallet/product, build a community that supports and helps the coin grow and that are willing to spread the word so others become involved.

Sadly....
All they see in your above post is:  coin/token are very into the exchange.
Everything else you wrote magically disappears when they read it.
They have ONLY 3 things in their head
1. mine coin if make money
2. sell coin fast to make money
3. pool no work/no getting money/exchange no give money, then complain complain complain!!! or SCAM COIN!!

Get used to the whining... it isn't going to stop anytime soon.
