Has someone managed to run more than 13 GPU (nvidia) on Linux ? I currently have an Asrock card with 13 GPU from Nvidia and was tempted to go for a 19 gpu mining rig but before doing this, I'd like to make sure it works. I wrote to Asus and the only thing they can provide is a recommendation but with their recommendation you never reach 19 GPU of the same brand so it defeats the purpose of going for this card in my case.
I bought this board without reading the documentation so now i have ~16 nvidia GPUs so i'll try to get it working on ubuntu and report back here
Won't work, the limit is BIOS/CPU related from the looks of it, basically anything over 13 regular cards will not post properly on this board.

There will be a mining pool after our hardfork, one of the reasons pubpools found it hard to manage was the masternodes spamming network with updates every second and it caused unnecessary traffic, the fork is tomorrow and pool and other updates will follow

I dont understand which chain is the right one. I have a wallet running linux that is on block 954814 as of writing this. And this seams to match with the block explorer. But then i have a wallet on my windows PC, and it is at block 941467. I tried to re-sync my windows wallet using the bootstrap posted a few pages back but it keeps going back to block 941467.
Any one else having this?

block 954828 is the most recent as of the time of this post.
The block explorer shows the current block count at the bottom right in you need it in the future. http://memetic.thecryptochat.net/
What ever bootstrap you used make sure it was the latest one which should be from oct 18th If not you can find a link to it on the first page of the ANN.

CPU mining is bad; they're not that well suited for hashing as GPUs, their cost is too much in comparison to their hashing speeds and you can't scale them (1 PC = 1 CPU, maybe 2).
Yes CPUs are just too expensive, and require lots of space (1mobo per CPU). or if you get one of those server mobo, which are like >600$ you might get 4 on one board.

Im trying to solo mine, but eveytime i find a block it tells me its missing the dev fee.
anyone know how to fix this?

Did the windows wallet run time issue get fixed?

The runtime error was fixed it was down to a corrupt tool chain when the wallet was compiled
So just DL the 1.5.0 again and your set.

Cant wait to see when you guys add MasterNodes late this year
The current hashrate is about 6TH/s so the pool should be finding about 1 in 6 block (since we are at 1TH/s)
You can find the network hashrate by using the "getmininginfo" in debug window of the wallet.
In the wallet the debug windows is under the "Help" tab, then you should see debug window option in the list
